Dear fellow FFAlers,

One month has passed since we concluded the third edition of Team Battle Royale and it's time for our next event. FML Season 28 is about to begin. On September 24, we will kick off scheduling for round one.

Since season 26 and 27 got a bit out of hand time-wise, the format of season 28 is going to be more compact. We will hold three rounds, followed by a five match final between the five finalists. In general, two wins will secure you a slot in the finals, while two losses will take you straight to the swamp of shame.

Players will be assigned to matches randomly within each round and bracket
Admins will provide three potential maps for each match. Each player can vote for one of these maps and whatever map gets most votes will be played. If there is a tie, where two maps get two votes, whatever map had two votes first will be played. If all four players have posted their votes within the first 24 hours after the scheduling thread was created, admins will flip a coin to decide which of the two maps gets played.
We need 32 players to sign up in order to fill the grid. We reserve the right to create a wait list if more players sign up. In that case, wait list may start at number 30 or 31 already. On top of that, if unknown or unproven players sign up, admins may decide to hold qualifier or test matches for these players
