Alternative FFA Variants

So FFA is great fun, but what if we messed around with the rules a bit for some fun games? I've played some interesting FFA gametypes in MTG and wonder how they'd work in WC3. Anyone willing to try them sometime? Or if you guys have other ideas, feel free to share!

Star: Each player has 2 enemies and 2 "neutral" players. The enemies are the two players across from you while the neutral ones are the players to your sides. You can not attack a neutral players bases but can fight their army if this helps you achieve your victory condition.

A player wins when both enemies are eliminated from the game. It is possible to have multiple winners - such as an allied victory, where two players have met the victory condition at the same time.

Circle of Death: Each player can only attack the player on his left. This means that the players must eliminate all other players before the final two players can directly attack each other.

I think Circle of Death sounds pretty interesting, would be down to try that for sure sometime.

You can defend your base but you can't go attack them.

STAR IS SO MUCH FUN!!  I'm also a MTG player and believe me when I tell you Star would definitely be #1 most fun.  Requires 5 players though.  CoD could be fine but STAR STAR STAR!!!

I agree with Red. Star is the most fun in MTG and I think it could be great in WC3 as well because of all the diplomacy that would be going on and having to cross map everyone. :D I would do either one though.
