FML Season 21 Begins

Hello again everybody!

We are happy to announce the start of the new Season 21. As we said earlier, this season will introduce a new format. We will be focusing on more than just 4-ways and also there will be no points, but an elimination league with possibilities almost until the end to advance to the grand final.

The format will be as follows:

Round 1: 5 6way games. Winners Advance.

Round 2 Loser: 3 8 way games (as history tells us, not all players are active so we presume one will drop out).  Winners advance up to Round  Winners.

Round 3 Winners: 5 winners from round 1, plus 3 winners from Round 2 losers.  Winner advances to the finals.

Round 3 Losers: 5 4 way games (presuming we drop another person for inactivity).  Winners advance to Round 4 Winners.  Losers go to Desperation Round.

Round 4 Winners: 7 losers of Round 3 winners + 5 winners of Round 3 Losers.  3 4way games, winners advance to Finals (putting us at 4 people in finals.)  Losers advance to desperation round.

Desperation Round: Round 3 losers + losers of Round 4 winners.This should be around 24 remaining people, we do 2 12 player games (or two evenly split games between remaining contestants) with the winner of each making the finals.  Time for these games will be fixed and they will be on a Sunday.

Grand Finals: 6 players.

Subs will be used if more than one player is missing thus giving extra chance for those who are fast and active. The motivation behind this format is to give everyone an opportunity to advance to the final until the end so that almost no one drops out due to inactivity or because of lack of chance to progress.

with two strong UD players in the game I see little chances of valefort winning. He will probably rage quit at some point. DV- is in excellent shape to take this in my opinion. His aggressive style and ability to dominate early on will thrive in this 6-way.

my predictions:

Round 1: DV-/qwest/Valefort
Early game depends on respawns: good chances for Vale when he will not be neighbour of DV-/qwest. I advise you to remember koffa finals and how this round could be ended. Bad news for Elessar: hard to start as orc on Silverpine.
DV-'s and qwest's neighborhood leads to long game(because both afraid of 100 pop rush).

Round 2: Maga/GM
I expect a chaotic game with few suicides.

Round 3: Seksi
Tanks>ud i know, but seksi>others here( with all respect guys).
I dont wanna see only humans in a late game. Because hu's mirror sucks a lot.
In my opinion: Mytime plays not for win, Ajika and Ponty didnt practice few years months and it solves. Dont know who is Vetti => no opinions about that person. PinballMap - "I'm too olf for this shit" (c).

Round 4: Ostone/Lw#1
I see im weakest here. Wont do any forecasts(afraid of suicide  )

Round 5: Soso/cumulo
Two hu's which plays solo more than ffa. Fuck you guys its not normal ffa still not dead Ok its dead. Solo practice better than ffa to win ffa. Sad but true.
Expect long game. Vova's and Fetta's style very slow and deceptive. Dont know about CallmeImba and Nline. I cant handle those two humans and thats why i wish you good luck guys

Dv gonna switch race to elf so he actually has a chance of winning against elessar.
Ivan SUH and qwest are going to team valefort since hes human and they are ud and valefort is a known udslaugtherer. Vale will die against those 3 undeads but takeing Qwest down with him cuz: TANKS. since elessar trained the past year 24/7 his orc against mgs archer matchup i dont see dv haveing a chance here. SUH and Ivan gonna team out elessar after he killed dv cuz they undeads and thats what undeads do + elessar hasnt played against any other race than nigthelfs for a year so he wont be able to beat them. the final 1n1 between ivan and SUH will be decided by the better internet connection since both are UNDEADS and are gonna have a shitty island base the other cant enter. Both countries dont have the best infrastracture or internet so i give a 50% chance of discing to each of them.

Laxu and Maga are known best friends and prob gonna try some preteam strat using skype or teamspeak to coordinate their attacks. Renaud FOW and Eshan will form an alliance against those 2. GW would like to join one of 2 sides but since hes russian he wont be able to comunicate with non russian speakers.  I dont know why how or when. But iam sure maga is gonna take this win. and after that he will invite laxu to a candle light dinner in copenhagens best restaurant.

pbm will peace UDSSR and invade ponty. ponty dies fast but hes gonna rebuild in seksis base. pbm gets greedy and invades udssr too and  march till stalingrad while he already tomed vetti who had a neutral position. in the end UDSSR USA FRANCE AND SWEDEN gonna beat germany. there will be a cold war between udssr and usa allied with france and sweden. After all hoarded enough UDSSR notices they forgot to harvest enough wood and ragequit. since sweden and france are only puppets of USA: seksi wins.

Undead majority on this group. It seems 2 unds will rise, DV and qwest due to the early fiend push; I say this because orcs and humans have a hard time vs tier 2 45 pop pushes so I assume heavy map control by unds (creeping, lvling up lich,etc). DV/Qwest can win this round, but my best regards to the only hum Vale

I see Elessar being tomed early as an orc he will be a prime target for at least 4 undeads.  Valefort likely will be teamed for being human.  IMO qwest is probably the "favorite" here but I think this will allow DV to be a little more cunning and get less pressure and he will be able to secure the win.  Majin is super old school and was a great player like 8 seasons ago, could be a major threat if hes in any shape

Soso will rush out one of the orcs and take the early lead.  Cumulo will suicide someone tier 1, Nline and Fetta will both likely be tomed before they can reach full tech.  Vova will suicide someone while talking a lot of trash.  Also, wreck will sub and win, loosing all his heroes in the final fight but killing the last buildings with 17 chims while spamming 8D and taunting his opponent for having no knowledge of Castle Grayskull
