I *think* Marn was just a preteamer that would always talk in caps, and was eventually sent to jail for "kidnapping" a young girl via wow. 

Then against I never played against him, and most of my knowledge comes from the Lone website who had reasons to hate him, so the pre-teaming part might have been a bit exargerated.

Wasnt he also the leader of clan lone? I also do not recall any games of him, he must have been active in the very early stage of wc3 ffa.

No he was the leader of clan Hero
And looking at the Lone history book, it looks like he had Rank 1 in all 4 realm at some point

Edit: actually the leader of clan TOP that was renamed Hero and then Bane? Something like that~

Edit 2: Created TOP, renamed it Hero, then it split into two, Bane led by Marn, and Lone led by X[hunters]

Renaud speaks the truth on all of the above.  We got legit major news source (not The Onion) to corroborate Marn was in fact in jail for solicitation of a minor.

Ironically in the grand scheme of things Goodbeast reminds me most of Marn.  Not in the kidnapping thing but in play/demeanor.

I remember the history being a fun read, although it was written by a self proclaimed heavy drinker who later faked his own death, so it might not be 100% accurate :P
Also contains the old ffa guides including two by the ebony goddess ;)

edit: bwhahahaha these old guide are funny, I understand patches might have changed stuff, but saying Panda is only good if you have problem in air battle, and only as a 2nd or 3rd hero sounds redic :D (writer was an elf player)
