Shoutcast on a Qualifier Match

As I mentioned in the FML Stream thread, Mog and I will be doing a replay shoutcast, and to make it a bit more relevant we'll be doing it on a Qualifier match this time around.  We'd like to let the community have a say in it though, so go ahead and vote for which match you'd like to see us do!

I think it will be less interesting from a replay than live. You know what will happen in this replay and I really enjoy when you figure out what players are about to do.

Maybe you just do on live instead since only mog has to play now you should have time?

Mage doesn't watch replays, don't know about mog.

So it'll be fresh for him, it also allows him to pause when trying to show a point or help the watchers understand something.

well he knows the key moments, we discussed them : cechi getting gangbanged, fd winning, deadok being the last 1v1 ... these kind of stuff

He cannot really say : "oh I wonder if fd can handle this attack" since he knows he will. Spoils the fun a bit imo but just my pov!

i agree, live games are indeed better.  Unfortunately mage is a busy bee and is rarely available to watch them live =/

Mog doesn't either.  In addition the problem is that we don't always have time to cast the matches live.  Ideally yeah we'd be able to do that.  However, I know I'm not going to be able to do stuff over the next two weekends.  Mog has his own life as well (or so he tells me).  All of the games tend to be on weekends, and weekends tend to be when I have a life so we have to make do.  Doing a replay of the games seems like the best way to get the most we can out of it.

and perhaps we'll even do that education stuff Pers was talking about.

All that being said, if we can both make a live game you can bet that we'll be there to shoutcast it since that's the ideal way for it to be done.

I also got my stream to be reliable and not choppy - can do a guest stream with someone if mage is not available to use his computer for the picture.  I am quite busy but have some days where things are quieter.
