Recording Wc3 games!
« on: January 15, 2012, 05:12:27 pm »
Hey guys! I need the opinion from those who already recorded wc3 games with audio (darkness, y.zenchenko for example). I'd like to try that and already checked some things by myself. It came out that Fraps or Camtasia seem to be good programms for that, but first of all i wanna hear your experiences about that and which programs you used. I'm happy for any serious suggestions.  :icon_wink:

How much memory will it take to record, let's say a 30 min ffa? And how long does it take to upload it on youtube with fraps?

Its 1gig just after recording, but then you need to compress it to 100 mb with another programm.

I used Bandicam, the files are quite large, can go for several GB, but I didn't feel any need to compress them. Uploding on youtube can take a couple hours for a ~30 minute game.
