Did you play vs some real pros ? If you wanna play against big players either try W3arena, or try to compete at Zotac Cup , (Saturday 15:00 CET )

It really depends.  Playing against players better than you is an excellent way to get better, but only if they're willing to help.  Getting beaten over and over again by people way better than you won't progress you that much unless you watch the replays, ask for advise, or talk to them about it after the game.

I voted wrong by accident and can't change but...

If you play vs someone better that is willing to offer advice like Mage said, that is the best way to get better.

Find out where you made mistakes, and slowly improve on them.  Eventually the games will become closer and closer until the point where the gap closes.

If you just play people your level forever, you might never get better than that level, because you won't know where to improve.

And you never made the same mistake again right?

Each time you picked up something different, even if small, that will help.

On the one on turtle i cannot really point out a "mistake" I made, still i've been crushed. Going fiends isnt that uncommon so... what

I took a different approach that game, nonstop aggression.  As for mistakes, was your macro good? Did you float a ton of gold at any point?  If you make a fiend at 300 gold as opposed to 220 gold then I'd consider that a mistake.

The shop definitely screwed you up though, and you've probably never played vs aggression like that where a BM left you with manaless heroes.

I'll take a look when i get home tonight to see if there was any major mistakes I can find.

Play on GGC, go to one of the europe rooms (1 or 2, whichever is most full) and just host a game.  From what I have experienced, most of the opponents you will face are pretty skilled.

And yes, playing vs people better than you is the best way to learn.  Its frusterating to get owned, but I guess if you focus on training and improving and dont worry about losing a lot at first you will benefit.

If you do this, just save a bunch of your replays and post on ffareplays so ppl can analyze and help, as I doubt random euro's or russians will give advice.

I suspect you'll find a higher quality of players on W3Arena now.

ty, oh god this bm was so annoying

First thing, your tech was ungodly late.

If you're going to do a 1 zigg tech, which I wouldn't recommend close spawn personally, then do it at 16 or 18 food that way you have the gold when you hit 210 wood.  You didn't tech until you had way over 300 wood (and 400 gold too!! it's 320!)  (these things matter)

again, 2nd zig was made at 180 wood, that's ungodly late bro :(

Creeping was bad idea when I left, you want to do nothing but harass me.  AM can easily outcreep a DK, but if you slow me down it allows you to get more units out and tech further while you buy time killing creeps and peasants.

Floating about 900 gold before you teched to citadel while I was hitting.  You killed off all the footies which was good, but in the meantime you should have been making more fiends, not ghouls in this case.  You queue'd up 2 more when you had plenty of wood.  Ghouls will do nothing when you have 1-2 and no mana, better to keep making more fiends which can kite easier in an undead base.

Okay when I did my final push/aggression, you'll notice you killed most of my shit.  Good, why did you lose?  The water elementals.  If you had teched properly, and not missed any units, you would have had destroyers out in time to be able to kill me probably with ease.

I think in this situation, with 2 heroes already low level, a third hero was a bad idea.
