New FFA Replay website.

Hello friends!

My good friends are nice enough to start up a brand new ffareplay website since the one we currently use is outdated, ugly, and out of service!!

Our goal is to get ffareplays.com from slack, and host it ourselves.  If this is not a possibility, then we will host it on another site, maybe ffareps.com


We are open to suggestions for what is needed/wanted on the site.

We are not going to add a forum or anything like that because it will mainly be a replay website, and splitting the community between 2 forums would be a bad idea.

That would be great!  I'm sure slack would be willing to get rid of the ffareplay.com domain, since he was trying to give it away to someone a few months ago.

As far as features go:

-Parser information
-Automatically Showing player/race for the replay (screw typing it ourselves! ... although for bnet game that would suck i guess?)
-Leaving comments (with all race icon)
-Rating would be nice
-A way to search would be great
-Keeping the replay forever would be great, but I don't mind they keep on getting deleted like it does currently

That sounds great, it doesn't have to be a complicated page. It could be a 2.0 of ffareplays with the features that Renaud mentioned and hopefully not a grey page

As I mentioned before: Replays of the week.  Top 3 Replays that are no older then 7 days old show up on the right or left hand side of the page.  Something that looks like this. 

Ability for replays posted by user to be sorted by who posted them. 

Ability for users to manually input player names being showed if they want so that if you're playing on a smurf you can put your name in.

Ability to edit your posts.

Slacks FFA maps section doesn't seem to be affected for the moment, I downloaded a few maps off there the other day without any problems.

Liking Renaud's and Practicemage's suggestions, although hopefully the original site can be fixed and save you guys a whole lot of work!

well its no problem to make a new demonreps account for the FML Games..just some clicks , if you guys are ok with it.

We might also share the upload password so that there can also be uploaded interesting ladder/custom FFAs.

It sucks, but it'll do. Added a replay link to the site map. Basically just takes you to the demon replays account. Upload password is FML!
