Final round games!
« on: June 12, 2017, 12:47:30 pm »
:FMLN:

The regular season is about to end as we greet the last round, where for some a win is a must to continue the qwest ))) for the glorious FML trophy! Some players sadly already played themselves out but will hopefully be eager to end the season in style. Keep in mind that the final standings might have impact on your qualification to next season in some way, so there is always incentive to climb the standings!

Our final round will be played on the following two community grown maps together with a classic ladder favorite:

The Map Pool:
  • Meson la taberna
  • Dragon Island
  • Monsoon

The Matches

M1
:USA::ne: Mog[skynet]
:Germany::ra: WeakUD
:Switzerland::hu: Noexxx
:Russia::orc: KENT2566

Can't bet against him, I said I wouldn't if he won last game and he did. He can't lose. He wins season. GG WP.

Seriously though, I'm hoping ToX can put in a good FFA performance and mog skynet has a chance to take a win here I think. Kent is a legend but too drunk.

M2
:Sweden::orc: Fetta_ook
:Germany::ra: Slythe
:Australia::orc: SweeT
:USA::ud: SteppinRazor

I think slythe will avenge his last performance vs cumulo and play a good game here and take win.

M3
:Poland::ne: Gradient
:Canada::ne: Renaud
:Russia::ud: SomethingWicked
:USA::ud: Audigy

Audigy will damage Gradi, Renaud will struggle vs wicked I think. He takes it in a long one. 2-3hrs for sure.

M4

:Peru::hu: Zs.SuperCumulo
:USA::ra: Eshan
:Denmark::ud: Tleilaxu
:Russia::ud: Pyatac

Stacked match I think. Cumulo has been disappointing as I've mentioned before, Peru has slipped out of shape - he's like a fat ronaldo now. Eshan will be a lovely snake as usual and be tough to take out and tleilaxu seems to be doing good but he doesn't have a chance here. Jaod will take it out in a long game with hero arena and building killing.

M5
:Sweden::ra: Junkerzam
:Germany::ra: SosoHasRedHair
:Russia::ne: Dinamo
:Germany::ne: b2w.TrunkzZz

Shave will progress to the finals. TrunkZzZ good micro but can't finish FFA style because he's too busy with ena1337. Junkerzam can easily win here too but I think shave take it.

M6
:USA::ne: Wrecktify
:Russia::ud: Qwest
:Germany::orc: Ena1337
:Russia::ra: Reinforment-

No desync = enal win
Desync = Qwest win

Wrecktify can't beat qwest heads up I think

LMAO gg me

FML luck continues with 3rd season in a row facing cumulo in an elimination game. Although hes one of my fave players, hes teamed me out two seasons in a row to deny me finals/playoffs. And this time with laxu too who hates me. X.X

I have a slight rivalry with Jaod, and you and Culo will probably soft pre-team me so I wouldn't worry Eshanna.

Ena im sure there are ways around a warena ban

Anyway, predictions! @Wrecktify we miss your kings choice predictions.

M1
:USA::ne: Mog[skynet]
:Germany::ra: WeakUD
:Switzerland::hu: Noexxx
:Russia::orc: KENT2566

i expect some heavy teaming on noexxx leading to a surprise weakUD win
M2
:Sweden::orc: Fetta_ook
:Germany::ra: Slythe
:Australia::orc: SweeT
:USA::ud: SteppinRazor

Sweet is playing really well this season, slythe is hit or miss, fetta has had a terrible season, and steppin just seems a bit out of shape. These are the kind of games slythe knows how to win but im gonna go with my instincts

M3
:Poland::ne: Gradient
:Canada::ne: Renaud
:Russia::ud: SomethingWicked
:USA::ud: Audigy

interesting game - havent seen a good game from audigy yet. Gradient could actually win this one, renaud might control this game; and wicked is a strong player too. Think it comes down to base race with renaud and gradient, which is gradients specialty

M4

:Peru::hu: Zs.SuperCumulo
:USA::ra: Eshan
:Denmark::ud: Tleilaxu
:Russia::ud: Pyatac

Tough match for all, lots of history between all players. If tempers flare and emotions get strong i can see a lot of suicides here. Cumulo usually knows how to win these games, by hoarding and then teaming out his biggest threats. He always plays for late game 1v1 with a big gold advantage and mass tp.  Laxu will be happy to team but maybe underestimate cumulo in the end game. He will prob necrorush me or Jaod. and jaod will probably play aggressive and make someone cry for help. Ill do my best but am disheartened by being teamed every other game, glhf

M5
:Sweden::ra: Junkerzam
:Germany::ra: SosoHasRedHair
:Russia::ne: Dinamo
:Germany::ne: b2w.TrunkzZz

cant wait to watch this game, hope trunkz plays. Should be an action packed game because all players like to fight. Junker is the most experienced and skilled FFA player though and will probably figure out how to win. He showed terrific manip skills last game, as well as A+ UD micro. Although if he gets UD again idk if he will win many fights vs orc NE NE. Shave might get frustrated and tunnel vision. Dinamo will play strong but eventually lose steam. Trunkz will get +2

M6
:USA::ne: Wrecktify
:Russia::ud: Qwest
:Germany::orc: Ena1337
:Russia::ra: Reinforment-

Qwest needs a win here so i suspect he will play smart and try to survive any rushes. But actually i think he should play aggressive and rush ena or reinforcement. Rein gave two free wins to another player his past two games which is bullshit. Ena = desync. Wreck will just plow through everyone in this match. They only have a chance if they team him, but either way he makes playoffs so he might not care.

Gonna be a funny game XD.

M22
:Peru::hu: Zs.SuperCumulo

Hilarious cast. 73% of total game APM will be due to chatting.

M23

Hard to predict. Maybe early agression everywhere.

M24
:USA::ne: Wrecktify

:Germany::orc: Ena1337
:Russia::ra: Reinforment-

Wreck of Qwest should take it, unless they suicide each other and some1 else will take advantage of it.

No need to write a prediction here :). Winrate says it all.

Slythe/Sweet wins

M23
:Sweden::ra: Junkerzam
:Germany::ra: SosoHasRedHair
:Russia::ne: Dinamo
:Germany::ne: b2w.TrunkzZz

Junker is playing really well this season and has been performing on a consistent high level in regards to micro/macro/manip and intelligent play, so I bet on him.

M24
:USA::ne: Wrecktify
:Russia::ud: Qwest
:Germany::orc: Ena1337

Predictions have gone downhill.

 I remember in my first season about 2 years ago prediction threads were 4-5 pages long with detailed predictions on each match.

M19
:USA::hu: Mog[skynet]
:Germany::ra: WeakUD
:Switzerland::hu: Noexxx
:Russia::orc: KENT2566

Gl hf

M20
:Sweden::orc: Fetta_ook
:Germany::ra: Slythe
:Australia::orc: Sweet
:USA::ud: SteppinRazor

Sweet has been playing well lately, and I think he really wants to directly qualify for finals so will take this game very seriously. Slythe certainly could take this also, but I'll go with Sweet here. Don't see much chance for fetta or steppin tbh. They both just aren't playing as well this season.

M21
:Poland::ne: Gradient
:Canada::ne: Renaud
:Russia::ud: SomethingWicked
:USA::ud: Audigy

Audigy probably won't show up, but I'm still picking an ud to win--SomethingWicked! Most will probably see Renaud as the favorite here, and maybe he is, but I don't think he does as well in those situations. Gradient could also steal a win here in a base race, but I don't think the other players will let him.

M22
:Peru::hu: Zs.SuperCumulo
:USA::ra: Eshan
:Denmark::ud: Tleilaxu
:Russia::ud: Pyatac

Oh lawd. I'm a big Eshan fan, but I think with this cast of players he is basically destined to be suicided. Laxu and jaod aren't going to allow cumulo to hoard in sneaky situations like he is prone to do, so I can't see him winning here either. Laxu only wins games I'm involved in, so I'll go with jaod to take this one!

M23
:Sweden::ra: Junkerzam
:Germany::ra: SosoHasRedHair
:Russia::ne: Dinamo
:Germany::ne: b2w.TrunkzZz

I'll be blunt, trunkzzz was hyped so much before this season,  but the only thing I've really seen from him is the inability to schedule fml games. So who knows if he will even show up (especially since he statistically can't advance). That being said, Junkerzam has been on fire this season, so he's definitely the favorite here for me. Dinamo doesn't seem to be playing as much lately, and his last round game looked very sloppy, so hopefully he can show a better game here but I still don't see him winning. Shave is forever a mystery to me. He seems to have potential, and sometimes looks very strong; but sometimes he just flat out looks like a noob who doesn't give a shit. Therefore, I'm going with junkerzam here.

M24
:USA::ne: Wrecktify
:Russia::ud: Qwest
:Germany::orc: Ena1337
:Russia::ra: Reinforment-

I expect mr. Map hack 3.0 to win here. After Qwest wins I also predict a 50 page essay from jaod about how qwest is a cheater and should be banned. In all seriousness, this game will come down to wreck and qwest, and unless wreck cleverly manips the other players to suicide / overly team qwest , then I don't see how qwest doesn't win.
