Deadlock is objectively the best FFA map.

Deadlock is a decent FFA Map, but personally iīd rather chose it as a map for Round 1-4 and not for a playoff match.

It is an interesting map, because you donīt have shredders or good items and it comes down to pure race advantages w/o much opportunities to regulate the weaknesses or boost the strenghts.

Access to shops are heavily imbalanced.

I also do really like gold rush, but it would be terrible for FML in this day and age.  GL HF with mass 6 hour games.  Put mog j33 and wreck in the same match and it would go for days

insulting? junker what are you talking about - there was no thread for criticisms or suggestions after season 22. so when season 23 begins with a new format, it is natural to immediately comment

and deadlock is not only imbalanced because of items soso, the lack of shredders is a big issue for orcs. it makes the transition from t2-t3 even slower. you have to mass peons to keep up with other races in resources, leaving you open to attack

lol Eshan, the only reason it's slower is because you have a lazy macro or too greedy  . In any case no shredder is not something you cannot overcome. I agree that its good to spawn next to shop, but its not necessarily a big deal.

I see maps with shredder as unfair because they give a huge advantage to orcs, so it makes sense that you would see map without shredder as unfair because they remove that huge advantage
