You'd see your player pool cut to about 1/10th of what it currently is or less

Much, much less.  The bots need to be connected to Battle.net (they are now), and rubattle.net (not yet) in addition to W3arena and others.  We had 1000's of unique players at playFFA, the games filled quickly because all of the different realms the bots were connected to.

It's nice to see some real progress! Next, hopefully the ladder/stats and more realms will come.

only people that never organized anything wc3 wise would suggest measures as stupid as fow is suggesting.

w3a alone would never be enough. hacking cant be totally prevented however admins can prevent hackers to trust the top of the league. In the end that's what matters. Hackers can only create an account and piss off people for 10 games or so before being forced to move to another.

Hi all

Asking me for news on skype is useless, i post everything there when I learn of something new  :icon_wink:

:icon_arrow: I sent an email to rubattle.net staff to help us fix the issue we have to connect the bot to their server (maybe the bot got ip banned), no answers yet

:icon_arrow: I tried to create an FFArena account directly on the eurobattle.net realm, it says the name is already taken. So for now no bot connexion possible to this realm

:icon_arrow: no news concerning the changes of the game names

:icon_arrow: no news concerning stats/ladder yet

Time for news

:icon_arrow: We managed to fix the problem with eurobattle.net so it should be connected the next time the bot will be restarted, also the map Divide and Conquer might be removed (requires lots of players to start and we still have problems to connect all the realms, so it blocks the activity)

:icon_arrow: A problem with the bnet realms occured like you noticed, weird problem that might be caused because the bot tries to reconnect to the servers every 2 minutes. According to Yosh a 3-4 days maintenance of the bot will help fixing that issue (so if the bot disappear for a few days, don't worry, it's normal)

:icon_arrow: Problem with rubattle.net, for some reason it doesnt connect, and they didn't answer to my mail. I asked Ugri, and he seems to don't know why it doesn't work. So, for that realm, things seem more problematic at the moment.

:icon_arrow: The stats database is ready and need to be connected, you might even be already playing for stats without knowing it (stats are here but are not showing)! But no worries, as soon as the stats appear, Yosh will reset them to 0 so everyone can start playing from the same point.
Also Yosh has to do some things before connecting it and we think it's a better idea to wait for the bnet realm and the eurobattle.net realm to be connected before starting the season. Good news!

:icon_arrow: We told me the FFArena inhouse bot is working, even though i cant host on it? But i heared some you managed to use it (shave ?)
Any report on that will be appreciated

:icon_arrow: Concerning the game names, apparently we need to rename the 500 maps one by one if i understood well. Seems weird for me since Ugri told us everything should be quick to do? Gonna ask Ugri about it. What is sure is that its not for right now.
