And you know what, I'd prefer to see that over yet another effing bm/sh/tc or panda/mk/pal.

Unfortunately, everyone wants to win and will use same cheese over and over (myself included, most of the time), but to be honest, after watching just 10 replays, it's so bloody tired out.

Next season, imo, let's have a rule of no more than 2 heroes per player per game, and one of them has to be a tavern hero. NE will have a little bit of an edge, but they need it.

I agree, next season should be only 2 heroes/player so ebo can maybe have a chance.

Sorry for the comparison, but it reminded me a ffa tourney nebu wanted to organize.  And, he wanted to promote new strat, so you would get bonus points of stuffs like making weird hero, making under X tower, and stuff like that.  It sounded interesting, but in the end he was just flamed because it would destroy ffa forever.  So he hacked something.

I dont see how it would kill ffa forever. Right now ffa is as good as dead due to ladder hacking, northrend preteamers and overall decline in innovations. Every top fml game is just a rehash of same crap with different spawns or player match ups. But on the basic level, every battle is the same counter/counter-counter.I think people are in it for the drama/playing "elite" status of top 10 FML.

Anyways, was just a thought. I'd love to play FFA that's more "wtfish", rather than mechanical matchups these days.

If everyone is having fun and doesnt 8x through most replays, well, I guess I'm in the minority, in which case don't listen to me :)

There are preteamers + lag hackers on Azeroth as well, please don't kid yourself. The only difference is that Azeroth's ladder playerbase is so insanely low for FFA that no one really cares anymore.

Ebo, you sound like you should play SC2 or something, an expansion is coming soon and strategies are always drastically changing there. If you're expecting huge amazing change on an 8+ year old game then I'm sorry to disappoint...

And of course it won't change after 8 years. That's why I thought it could use spicing up with hero restrictions. But like I said, if I'm the minority in that I 8x through replays basically just watching the macro instead of the micro, and think it's all got real boring to watch, then, well, too bad for me, and everyone else is happy/having fun.
