Lightweight Banned
« on: November 10, 2013, 08:57:58 pm »
 :FMLN:

To start off the new week, we have a bit of drama! During P54 we had an issue with :Germany: Lightweight. Instead of playing for to win the game, he opted to all-out suicide another player in the league - :USA: Seksi. This was not an accidental suicide - it was 100% intentional and Lightweight had plans on doing it from the very start of the match. Here is a post from Lightweight from FFAReplays.com:

Quote
Name: Lightweight
To make it clear and to prevent missunderstandings, i planned suiciding seksi from the very start. I didnt want to fight svedirko at any point because it would have just delayed making seksi lose. I love making seksi lose and it felt really good. GG. This was an A1 suicide.

This sort of behavior is completely uncalled for and completely destroys the foundation of the game. The FFA Masters League is a competition which revolves around playing your hardest to achieve victory. His actions clearly demonstrate that he had no intentions of winning or trying to achieve victory. His goal was to grief another player and to disrupt the league. This behavior falls under the unsportsmanlike conduct rule:

Quote
6.50 Unsportsmanlike Conduct

In order to secure a well regulated and pleasant course of game, it is inevitable that all players act in a sportsmanlike and fair way. This may include, but is not limited to:  Spamming during a game, kicking players from the server or match, not playing for the win or faking an account without revealing yourself. Breach of this rule can include penalty points or removal from the league.

As this is not Lightweights first offense in the league, we have decided to call for an extended ban on playing in the FFA Masters League. He will not be allowed to play in the remainder of Season 17 or for Season 18. Any official FML sponsored events during this time will also enact this barring.

There will be no official replacement player for him in Season 17 as it will not be possible for anyone else in the standings to make it to the semi-finals regardless of the result. Lightweights spot will be filled by a sub in round 6.

Sorry for the disappointing news! Hope the remainder of this week is filled with great FFA action!!

any response in regards to me... am I knocked out of the season now because of this suicide or, for example, do I get an opportunity to sub another game for points?

The way the game was turning out I had steppin dead and Svedirko was killing LW, if LW had defended against Svedirko my chances were very good for this win, just pointing this out.

Thanks

See this as my goodbye post on fml;
The decision from Worpex and the admin team to ban me is 100 % right. Countless times i behaved unmannered and out of line. I forced my ban by suiciding seksi. Leaving in peace is not in my nature and i had to leave with a news on me. I love the attention and drama, thats why i always tried to behave like a crazy sick horse.

Sorry for those who put any hopes into me getting sane. I am who i am and i wont change. Seksi was just the right victim at the right time. Majority of people wont miss me, so there is no reason to be sad about it. It was going to happen anyway later or earlier.

@Seksi: I didnt care about svedirko, i just had to defend him until i had an army big enough to suicide you. I never planned fighting him or playing a normal game. You missunderstand.

FML was like a trip for me. I went through everything. Thx for that. Bye.

Seksi sure has a knack for making friends xD

Lightweight you are wrong on not being missed. I am fond of your laid back attitude, humor, and game skills enough to make you one of the best ffa players there is.

Is irritating seksi, though, that big of an accomplishment? You spent years playing together with a small community, having fun with an old game, and you decide to lift the finger on everyone due to a grudge?

cmon, it's not like we like every single player on bnet or wc3. It's full of questionable characters to say the least, people that never had sex and what have you. You can't like everyone in a community but you can respect the whole of it.

LW you will be missed. At least dont stop obsing because I love your comments :D

Btw, admins, any regards to LW's suicide in my last final game? Have I lost the game or could I play it again? Maybe I can sub in another final for more titles?

The way the game was turning out I had DFM dead and Svedirko was killing LW, if LW had not suicided his heroes against mine, my chances were very good for this win, just pointing this out.

Thanks

@seksi: No. But 85 points *might* be enough to make the semi, hard to tell atm
@l3f: It's "knack", not "nag" (nag is annoying someone to do something)
@maga: I see what you did there. No.

100 - 1 = 99
99 - 1 = 98
