Bots $$$

Hi,

- many of my projects for the bot collaped recently

- I dont want to spend as much time as i did before on the bot from now on (was like average 1 hour a day)

- I invested about 700 $ already

I would like to get some money back so I would be ok to sell the bot for a decent offer. Obviously i wouldnt be head admin after selling and I would transfer all the bot rights to the buyer.

Otherwise I will set up donations and stay head admin just monitoring technical issues and updating map pools. Other topics like fixing games, banning hackers and probably giving admins rights should be taken care off by someone else.

Gz/Meeds/Searcher have done a very good job this past month and would keep doing so if i stay but we could use some more help.

I'm open to any suggestions : as for the forum, it could be moved back since the new site will never be created unfortunately.

I hope not to get flamed here by my usual fan club (shikaka rsm lw) and i would appreciate some strict moderation from the admin team.

What is the exact amout per year for just the server ?
Because everything else, database, improving the bot, I think I could do it myself with some help, I know about C++, database, and warcraft III. I could give some money

It covers the servers hosting, the bot 2 garena connection, the bot 1 18 garena connections, cd keys and the website hosting + tech support.

if i could find 70 ppl to give 10$,  wouldnt even have to sell

I asked for details because maybe you can save money somewhere, for example I don't know, but are the garena connection really usefull ? what is the percentage of players from garena comparing to the money that cost garena ?
Anyway, maybe we can speak about this in pm.

when garena connection were down, the regular number of running games at a time dropped from 11 to 4

@Ugri : playing ladder I noticed this announce about selling the bot is kind of useless, no offense but most of the players doens't even know about ffamasters.net or are asking me how to conctact you, or how much is the bot.
Anyway, maybe a clear announce on what you want to do would be good.
Does the FML admins (Mage, Renaud, etc) are talking about this between them ?

I decided to spend less time on this so either I sell it and solves this quick by getting some of my money back, either I stay head admin and get slowly my money back with donations.

If I stay I would just deal with tech issues and map pool.

The first solution is the most efficient even if it means I am out of the picture. FML Admins are discussing it and are interested to buy.

I made a public announcement first because I thought some russians would be interested or some south americans.

Those who do not know how to contact me are obviously not serious enough to be considered as an option so do not mind them. Anyone knowing just a little about FFA in the last 8 years knows well enough how to contact me :)
