Altar Hero with Fast Archers

Standard Archer build for FFA if you’re using an Altar hero first. You can creep and/or expand using your AoW with this build but it’s slightly less effective to do than with a Tavern hero.

4 wisps to gold, one builds are Altar.
Queue up 3 wisps
First wisp out builds a Moonwell
Second builds an Ancient of War, third goes to gold
Fourth and any wisps after that go to wood
Build a second Moonwell when you have 40 wood
Stop at 11 Wisps (16 food including hero)
Queue up 2 Archers when AoW finishes
Make 2 more wisps when second Moonwell finishes and continue training Archers
Begin creeping and tech when resources allow.

Tavern hero with fast Archers

This build will allow you to get Archers more quickly than with an Altar hero while still getting your hero as early as possible. You can easily expand while using your AoW to tank after you get your first 5-6 Archers out too. Expanding this way will save your Moonwells because your units won’t be taking damage. This works on all maps with a tavern but I wouldn’t suggest creeping in this manner on maps where there isn’t a mine close to your base such as Mur’gul Oasis, Deadlock, and Battlegrounds. It’s usually not necessary on maps with easy expansions either, such as Twilight Ruins.

4 wisps to gold, one to lumber
Queue up 3 wisps
First wisp out builds an AoW as close as possible to your natural expansion
Second wisp out builds a moon well
Third wisp goes to gold and fourth goes to wood
The fifth builds an altar and all wisps after that go to wood
Have your wisp that built the first Moonwell build a second as soon as the first finishes
Make Archers and wisps as wood allows. There should be an Archer and a wisp building at all times. First Archer out goes to the Tavern.
Stop building wisps when you have 8 on lumber and 5 in your mine. Remember to get your hero when your altar finishes and being creeping.
Tech when resources allow, or expand before your tech on maps with easy natural expansions (i.e. Twilight Ruins)
If you expand before teching, queue up one more wisp.

But yea that first one is bad, you should only have 1 archer before 2nd well, not two.  Since the well is delayed a bit those 2 wisps have a huge impact on tech time and first expansion.

Yes, you need to report it, there is a bug when the last player dies from build kill he gets the win from time to time

Actually Ive never seen gold rush so far. ragnarok and that huge feralas style map are crazy. I dont know sometimes a few people leave early, then it goes faster, but if everyone struggles it seems to take at least an hour each time.

I think more aggressive players with good micro who can crush others quickly can do faster games but someone with shit micro like me really has to struggle and take their time against each player by wearing them down. I dont know, back on the b,net ladder I had average 30 minute games, here they are so much longer :(
