FML Round 4!

With week 3 over, we have now made it to the crucial round 4! Those players which want to make it into the play-offs need to play at their best in this round!

Play-offs
---

To advance passed round 4, you need to be in the Top 10. First and second place get an automatic pass into the grand finals, while places 3-10 play a semi-final match for the last 2 spots.

Now, just because you're in the play-offs already doesn't mean you should stop trying for this round, no! Because the highest seed player gets to choose the map in the play-offs. So, 1st place gets to choose the Grand Final map and 3rd and 4th choose their semi-final map!

This however, leaves us with another question... how will we be breaking ties?

Well, here is your answer:

1 - If it is a 2 way tie, it will be settled by who placed higher in their previous match against each other.
2 - If it is not a 2 way tie or the two players haven't played each other, the player with the most second places (as opposed to third places) will be considered higher.
3 - If that doesn't work we compare who did higher vs the top ranking players (top 1-4).
4 - Hopefully no ties come down to this, but we have one other secret way for tie breaking which we don't plan to reveal at this time. This method will be used in the next season!

((Note: M41 has a few rematches which were unavoidable. Also, DasElend has been placed in M42 due to him already having made it to the playoffs and having played vs most of the top 10 already. So, we placed him against players who have no chance at making it into the playoffs.))

no i mean your guaranteeing him a bye by giving him people are seeded the lowest or whatever while the people at 60 points have to play 60 point players and hope for the person who is 3-0 to get last place in a 0-3 game.

Like I stated already, hes played against almost everyone in his point bracket. Hes played against all but one in the top 5 and 5 out of the top 10 which leaves him only 4 other players left from the top 10 to play, but sadly, it doesn't work out that easily because some of those 4 have already played each other as well. So it isn't possible to get him to play against people that wouldn't be considered a bye, so instead of ruining the chances of people who still have a chance to make the playoffs I put him against people who have no chance of making the playoffs.

now daselend is almost gauranteed top seed to choose final map, whereas if he was to paly in top match another could pass him to get top seed o.o. To me that seems less fair than having him replay vs the same palyers

Not necessarily. M42 is guaranteed to have at least one sub in it but it is very likely to have 2 subs. This means that higher score players will be in the match anyway trying to prevent him from getting the win.

Yeah, we couldn't tell if it was rage or not. It's too late to replace players anyway so we'll just sub him if he doesn't post.
