Season 20 Kickoff!

Well, application periods are officially closed and we had some great turnout!  I will post the matchups below, with scheduling threads to follow shortly, but before I do I would like to remind all of our players that FML is dedicated to providing fair competition, and that all players must follow the rules.  The full rule book can be found on the site, however a few points of emphasis.  First, all players are expected to play the game honestly.  This means no hacking, stream cheating, preteaming, or other attempts at gaming the system and WC3 in general.  Violators will be dealt with swiftly.

Second, we expect our players to schedule for themselves, and to show up to their matches.  If you need help, we are happy to provide it, however the initiative is on you.  Failure to do so may result in removal from the league.  Lastly, have fun!  This league is meant to be an enjoyable hobby for the players and admins, don't take it so seriously and don't be a dick.  Full season rules will be posted soon, but without further ado here are our randomly generated matches.

Nope, no auto qualifiers this season.  In addition these qualifiers are different in that it's not win one and in, it's being changed up a bit to promote consistency.  Full details to follow but I wanted to get the matches out ASAP

(About the new S2 Finals video) As I did with the S1 finals video, here is another lesson in FML History from WorpeX!

The question on everyone's mind when they see this, even the casters, is "Who is WorpeX?" so the story behind that is actually rather interesting. The actual player in this game is someone named LeL, a Russian Orc from Northrend and was once a very important member of the FFA scene. He was the leader of clan FF4 and is known as the inventor of the "Deathstar" base for Orcs, although that type of base is not used in today's FFA quite so often anymore.

At the start of this finals, it came to the attention of the FML admins that LeL's Garena account had been banned. LeL claims it was because of an Anti-Hack tool that he used. So, seeing as the final needed to get started, he was granted access to my own account for this game. After the game, the WorpeX account was also banned. The legitimacy of LeL's play went into question after these events but to this day, no one has actually proven if LeL hacked during this - or any - FML game.

As for the other players, Dead_Dont_Bite is just a random player from back in Season 2. He lucked his way into the finals. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe he just barely got into the Semi-Finals and managed to win that by his opponents essentially killing each other. As for a grudge, I can't remember exactly but I don't believe there was one between him and LeL.

Target (aka: SheepCanFly) and Lok-ta-Ogar are players who both make a comeback to the scene from time to time but they both are passed their primes, which was for both players between S1-S3.
