Darkness you look like and idiot doing that....
Now, that doesn't mean you're an idiot, it just means that what you do makes you look like one!

Well i am an esl T_T

MOAR DRAMA

Ok, ill try to re-explain why i think the current system is better than your 5 way ffa with 3 winner

1- You keep on talking about making something that is "fair" and how rule #3 is not.  Now imagine you play a game vs dase, htrt and maga, and end up 2nd.  And I play a game vs ocky, noobletmaster and spiritus, and end up 2nd.  How is it fair that we both have the same amount of points?  You played the top player, and i played the bottom feeder.

2- the 3/5 ffa promotes playing for seconds ALOT MORE than rules #2 of tie breaking (saying that 2nd > 3rd)

3- The semies, gives good player who screwed up once or twice a chance to redeem themselves.  However, its for "the worst of the best", especially the bottom position.  Delaying the season by 1 week (or 2!) for the worst of the best does not seem fair for every single other players who wants to get on with the league. (pro sport don't delay their season by a week, especially not for last minute qualified place)

4- How is it "fair" to have a 5 way FFA, determine anything in a 4 player ffa league?  Sure they are both FFA, but it's very different playstyle.

Woops forgot the most important one!

5- And the reason we don't use our new and improve tie breaker system this season, is because it changes some of the rules, and its not fair to change the rules halfway in a season and go back to add/subtract point to player based on a rule that did not exist back when they played the game

I see nothing wrong with these rules. Tie suck, but as far as resolving them goes, their isn't much one can really do. We're looking into ways to prevent ties from happening as often in the future, but these rules are still going to be around (except the playing for second one).

in general a tiebreaker can be quite cool and thrilling thing. but u need the correct number of guys being tied ;). for example, this season if 4 or 8 guys woulda had 55 pts coulda been perfect for some good extra games.

you need a correct number of guys being tied, and a correct number of place to fill!
if you have 8 guys with 55pts and 3 spot your still screwed!
