After a very calm summer, we decided to go for another FML Season. It's time for number thirty, our anniversary. We don't have to tell any outsider that it's really only season 29, as season 9 was skipped back in 2011.

Reforged has the potential to bring a bright future or great disappointment. FFA will be alive as long as we want it to be alive. So it's up to us to seek our own joy in events like this and make it attractive for others. Therefore, I summon all of you rats and roaches to sign up for this season and keep matches fun and below the three hour mark

Structure

Round 1 (Sep 1 – Sep 15): Random matchmaking
Round 2 (Sep 16 – Sep 29): Random matchmaking, but the top 4 players of the rankings can't meet the bottom 4
Round 3 (Sep 30 – Oct 13): Random matchmaking, but the top 4 players of the rankings can't meet the bottom 4
Round 4 (Oct 14 – Oct 27): Random matchmaking, but the top 4 players of the rankings can't meet the bottom 4
Playoffs: Semi-final between rank 4-7. Final between rank 1-3 + semi-final winner

Points

Update: We will go for the usual point structure (20/12/12/10), but the player with top score gets +4 points and the one with second score +2 points.

Maps

In order to avoid five hour matches, admins decided to exclude Hurricane Isle, Gold Rush and Sanctuary non-LV from the map pools for this season.
Admins will provide three potential maps for each match (in the scheduling thread). Each player can vote for one of these maps and whatever map gets most votes will be played.

If there is a tie, where two maps get two votes, whatever map had two votes first will be played. If all four players have posted their votes within the first 24 hours after the scheduling thread was created, admins will flip a coin to decide which of the two maps gets played.

Scheduling

Each player has to help scheduling his match, by posting his availability (at least 3 dates) in the forum within 48 hours after the respective scheduling thread was created. If he does not, he loses scheduling rights. The 48 hours do not only apply for initial posts, but also for all subsequent scheduling thread discussions (e.g. if three players agree on a time and the fourth player fails to respond within 48 hours, he also loses his scheduling rights). Whatever was discussed in other communication channels (e.g. Discord) needs to be logged in the thread as well, in order to be valid from an official standpoint.
