Usually maga, me, slythe, worpex, renaud.  And with nothing on the line it doesnt make it different than any other custom game.

figures the new blokes to FFA would want a smurf season.  watch replays, learn styles, adapt.  i wont even complain about my constant teaming and will just point to maga winning 3/4 this season despite everyone going into their games with him with 'when' not 'if' mentality of teaming him.  you gays.

That's the reason I want a smurf season... For the vets...

I figure the people who do get teamed excessively every game would like to play a game without having to worry about being teamed because of their name.  Now if they get 3v1'd in game because they are a threat, that's fine.

Euro players don't hardcore team like US players, which is why maga wins all of his games.

I'd be down for trying some practice games for it and doing some minor tournaments with it. But at the moment, this idea is too hotly contested to do anything league related yet.

i like knowing who im facing.  we clamored for it on ladder way back when because it was getting ridiculous for certain players essentially being preteamed (Rice, Pencil) though they still won when it wasnt anonymous. 

Even though me and Maga get teamed, it usually is deserved.  US players take it too far, so meh.  But I prefer to be able to know how my opponents are going to play and risk being teamed rather than probably still get teamed when I accidentally say 7L and then not know who im playing.

Not possible to smurf, my playstyle is too unique and so are many others. I tried smurfing in custom games many times a long time ago and somehow before the game ended people knew it was me just off playstyle and item positioning on heroes.

Its also worth mentioning that every person whose tried to smurf in FML has failed. We caught them usually before the season even started or after the first round. So if that isn't an indication that everyone in the league has a unique play-style which can easily be identified, I don't know what is!

These are decent points, but that would be why there would be different smurfs for every round.  No one expects the same smurfs to make it through the entire season, all it has to do is give anonymity going into the game.  People figure it out in game then good for them, but early game at least it would prevent strategies based off of playing certain players as opposed to certain races/positions/etc.

And if calling out names was banned it would also increase how much it would help.  Besides it would stop a lot of the annoying whiners.

I like the idea of possibly trying it for one round or a separate tournament.

I also had an idea after season 11 of a ALL RANDOM FFA tournament or season!  many liked this and fly said he would come back and play if it was.  :D

Also, there are at least 3 skilled undead ffa players who micro well.  rhymes with flexme, hermaid, and gaga.
