Yes SS is right there is a program called "VS Client" its like garena but only for chinese/korean players. You can see it eg. on the Lucifer -WC3 Stream.

Yes, very interesting explanations by star, i didn't know that tbh, i always thought they play on kalimdor the asian realm :P. Additionally i think wc3 has to split from battle.net slowly to stay existens, because there is no service anymore. Actually if you see it from their point of view wc3 doesn't collect them any money. Playing wow, d3, sc2 is the best for their company at this moment. Blizzard is the richest computer games company im sure. It is like a fat money storage with full with gold.

It's just like what happened with starcraft brood war, the battle.net ladder became a joke already in like 2002 and ICCup ended up taking over which is the place all legitimate players ended up playing.
