Race   Fixed
Flag   Fixed
Score change Fixed

Map: Unfixed
Download availability is set for less than a week I think, that will make hard for some game corrections, Id be willing, depending on what the ''Fail'' rate will be and how hard is it to correct somehting

gj ugri

fixing result is simple and fast.

However it puts you at risk of being flamed because you need to manually set the ELO won by the real winner and it is never enough. So it is simple and difficult at the same time.

I suggest that the one to do this is not a one competing for the top positions, for obvious reasons.

About 1/6 of results are wrong imo, but games in between noobs do not matter. Are fixed only games involving top 20-30 players.

I would say at most 3 or 4 games to be fixed per day.

The map thing is not a problem, it is not a bug, just an extra content we did not put back so far. If that is usefull it can be done real quick

Amazing work ugri.  Played a few games today (for the first time in a long while).  Most games were up and started within less than 5 minutes.  Got win in every game I won, except one where some guy hid buildings.  I think we are gonna see a lot more activity on the bot!

Nice!

What needs to happen to start the first season?

I would think an advertisement/post on W3arena, and/or FFAMasters with links to the ladder, map pool, and a error fixing thread.  I wonder if it would be a good idea to have that error fixing thread here on FML (if that would be cool with Worpex/Pinball/Maga).  Cross promotion couldn't be a bad thing!  Something official (starting and ending dates) would be important I think.

I will start to stream and be active again and I'm sure sooner than later would be great as FML popularity is high too.

Let's do it! What's next?

1- need an admin team. You guys need to contact Ponty asap

2- need to figure how to promote the ladder on w3arena, will talk to Yosh about it as we would like a dedicated webpage.

3- optional : trying to get an agreement with russian bot owner.

Note : not possible, not needed, and not wanted by any parties to have ladder forum on ffamasters for too many reasons. This will be on w3arena.net.

I dont think FFArena should be done here, although I think it should be promoted here, though I think it should be talked through with yosh.

Can't anyone make a banner for w3arena wc3 launcher, the one you get on top when you're playing? Will yosh accept this?

What are the latest news ugri?
Again, I volunteer for being part of the fix team.

Edit: Played on the bot, everything you did was indeed fixed, and no way to see players name as i see.

The bot activity has increased immensely, and on the other hand the ggru bot games fill much slower, and no publicity was made as yet!

Dear F10EX I am a professional. When I started playffa, no kidding I think I saw 8 FFA bots being born and dying. :D

The difference here is that the russian bot is well established with a working ladder.

Frankly it will all be about management and exposure. Exposure I can tale care of it but management no. Dealing with players is not something I wanna do anymore.

If year want to involve, you should give me any live chat contact you can have (I probably have them all) so we can communicate about it. Need to be seriously involved though so think well about it!

Cheers

Hi, so yes we need people to help fixing errors, like I said to Ugri i will definitly not be the only one fixing errors, and it won't be my priority, we need at least 2 motivated people to help fixing them on a daily basis (ugri says there will be about 4-5 a day and it doesn't take long to fix, about 10-20secs per error).

I can take care of admin rights, announcements, ladder management, drama, sympo league etc. I already asked few trustworthy people if they could fix errors they answered they won't have the time

So post here if you can help :)

F10EX, thanks man, but i personnally don't know you yet  :icon_eek:

I will help however, but I don't think error fixing would be right as I will probably be competing.

Who else would like to contribute/help?  We are almost there!

(Ugri, you sure you don't want to be involved in managing it...? You and Ponty could be the French Dream Team.)

(last time I did manage it, being the referee of the community in all and any disputes, I had 80% of the players yelling at me) So no thks.

Organizing events and working with Yosh is what i have in mind, helping the FFA ladder as much as I can if something is not working well. But I will not deal, with players, no waaaaay

In my defense Ive some admin jobs in my past, the most powerfull and important was @ battle net's public maphack blacklist.

But if you don't trust me thats ok. I would never use power in my advantage.

Admin team is set up

Ability to post news on w3arena.net : check

Ladder season 1 expected to start next week, the time I get familiar with w3arena, and the new team gets familiar with ladder issues.

:)

Note : That had to make me postpone the FML Cup VI a little, I am a little overwhelmed at the moment. Once ladder starts, I will take care of this.
