How did you go so long without saying 77 and 8D8D8D8D

Excellent question! 8D

Well, "8D" was actually very difficult to give up.  In fact I let it slip a few tiems on DarkFlameMaster and no one noticed.

77 was trickier as the whole reason I started being able to staff so effectively was because I mapped my numpad-7 to G.  That one I let slip a LOT.  In fact, I wished Nline "77" once on DarkFlameMaster after beating him on FML Ladder, but maybe he thought that was just an American thing.  I also did the same thing against Brainman.  Both times I didnt post the replay, which in fact helped Brainman tie Seksi in ladder season one.  Oops!

Eventually I remapped numpad-7 from "G" to the middle mouse button, which solved the problem.

I knew he had to be someone (amazing ffa players don't just pop up out of nowhere), but dang, is it bad I'm sad? I mean wreck, although incredibly funny, was kind of a jerk I thought, and DFM is like my elf idol with great micro/macro and game sense. But hey, does this mean Wreck is the only person to win multiple FML crowns with different races?

Oh, and that qualifier match on Sanctuary makes SO much more sense now.

To be fair, I don't think Wreck was ever really a jerk.  He's just very blunt and honest, which revealed that most wc3 players have super thin skins and are somewhat whiny.  DFM was not super blunt and honest, but was pretty whiny.

I prefer the Wreck persona of his crazy messed up head.  Also yes, I believe that he is the only person to win with different races.

Unless you're counting Renaud - Wrecktify is the only player to win a season with multiple races. Although Renaud technically doesn't count because KoFFA isn't really seen has a season - although in my mind - its just as impressive to win.

Also, for those interested in how we finally caught Wrecktify - Persuade/Mage/Renaud get all the credit! Here is a quote from Persuade detailing what was found:

Quote from: Persuade
- Wreck quit the league around November 15th, 2012.  DFM made his account on November 25th, 2012.  Just tiny coincidence.

-Mage noticed wreck posted on a smurf, onebillion.  If you read his comments he is 100% wreck, but check IP and it is also 100% wreck.

-The Ip in question is shared by DFM/Wreck/Onebillion.  It seems to be some public place in New york, so possibly a huge coincidence.  But the first mistake by Wreck.

Upon checking dozens of replays

- DFM has avoided playing Human, but has played as every other race.  His UD was absolutely terrible, Wreck's UD was absolutely terrible. I found a game of both of them playing Orc on market square.  Apm was within 3, hotkeys exactly the same.

- I then decided to check every single one of DFM's ips, but they are always different. [Clear indication of proxy use.]

Renaud also used another method of catching him (which is the most conclusive one) but im going to keep it under wraps.

No smurfing rule (yet). There is a multi-account rule which is for having 2 or more accounts in the league at once like Humans7ar did a few seasons back, but thats it. The punishment we commonly give is public humiliation. This is actually the first instance of a smurf that we didn't catch within the first few days. Pretty impressive actually, Wreck went through a lot of trouble to keep himself hidden!

He was busted but decided to come forth and reveal the aka himself.

Interesting, going through the process of using proxies and avoiding using old chat  :icon_cool: He did play human on the bot though. Had to be some player with a lot of fml-ffa experience, winning with elf is not easy.

Wonder how many more older/retired players roam the bot under a smurf.

Funny thing is I played a game vs DFM/wreck and some other guys like a month ago on Harvest and DFM played human and kicked everyone's ass and I was like "why dont you play human more often."

I knew he was someone, for a while I thought Eshan since he did a similar thing smurfing a while back and played elf mostly but his micro (and manners :D) were too good to be Eshan

In what way?

many

I really believed dfm was a different person until we compared some ip with pers a couple of weeks ago

even then i wanted to believe wreck was not that retarded to pretend to be someone else for no reason, or mb to make a fool out of ourselves

the way the interview runs with the "big revelation"in the end is stupid as well. If you want to make a big thing out of it, then explain why you ragequited about a non existing preteam that never happened then cut all relationships with people who counted on you and appreciated you

Also I liked DFM better than Wreck but DFM does not exist.

And about the long overdue interview I realize i have been spanked by wreck
