KoFFA Round 4: Where Kings are Made

Well, here it is.  We’ve managed to come to the final week of King of FFA: II!  Despite a somewhat lackluster last week, we still filled up all of our games.  No small feat.  This week we return to what truly makes King of FFA fun, the 12 man FFA!  There have been two notable players who have risen to the top of the crop so far.  :Germany: :hu: Lightweight and :USA: :ra: FML|Persuade both have a stellar 3-0 record and are assured their spot in the finals.

The last two spots are open for the taking though.  With the final round being worth 30 points, anyone with at least 22 points has a shot at qualifying for the finals.  This includes a huge portion of the participants so far.  But, as always, we want anyone who wants to play!  Signups are open to anyone and everyone, so if you’ve got that FFA itch going then head over to this link to sign up today!

Hi. I was directed here from hiveworkshop.com. Someone mentioned Splatter being used for one of your games, and I was wondering if there was a replay of it anywhere? I can't seem to find it..

Unfortunately the private bot cannot host public games on a custom map.    (I think?)

We were forced to make the game public since we didn't have 12 people able to join it privately, forcing us to choose a different map.

ah well...


For future reference I suspect you can host it with a private bot, as long as everyone downloads the same version of the map in advance..? I don't actually know how bots function...

We can play it for sure, the problem was that it does not show up in the public games list very well.  However we already have it loaded on our bot, and people can download it off of that.

I think there was a game on splatter (but a public one, not part of the league)
Would need to ask ugri.

Actually, I remember playing a game on it about a month ago (die quickly and din't have obs on defeat), once again, would need to ask ugri if he has it (Or I think seksi was the winner?)

Yeah there was a game on splatter, but i cant find the link either. I think ugri posted it on a thread which name i cant remember.

The reason it was not played during the King of FFA tournament was that we could not get it filled up and we have problems hosting it publicly on B.Net.  However the public bot hosts games on it once every 60 games, so about 2 or 3 times a day.  People can download it from the bot as well, so it is being spread around the FFA community.

I did have one bot game played on it and plan to have more in the future.

It is a very good map, the best custom 12 players ffa map i have seen
