I think it would be nice to see Doveki compete in FML. If I were to match him against the current players, I'd say he can give us a tough time. Moreover, just like Eshan mentioned, perhaps Doveki prefers street fights rather than stepping in the ring :D, but I'm curious as to why not step in the ring with the other heave weights :D
I think Doveki has a certain distain for FML games, but then again, like someone mentioned, we really havenīt seen him play that much; so he may actually be as good of a player as some of us. Personally, I think FML games are more intersting than ladder ones, and thatīs because in FML you have players who are proximately on the same level and get to face each other for the oportunity to advance to the next round and maybe if they are good enough, get their name on the wall. In order to do this you need a set of skills that zTsoso explained very well;furthermore, you also develop a sense of commradeship by scheduling, talking in the skype group, watching streams, commentating on replays, etc. Some of these factos are lacking in PlayFFArena and thatīs because at least to me , they are all strangers and to be honest it feels different, and some games are very easy to win while others are very tedious and makes me no wanna go through that again. In FML, I presonally feel like Iīve made a commitment to play all rounds, enjoy the games and see how I match up with my fellow FFA players. Ofc if everything goes well, or "ok" at least then I get a chance to play with the remaining best in the finals; this is what I feel is very different from PlayFFArena, sure PlayFFArena is fun and you can find it challenging sometimes, or very difficult because u get attacked by 3 nobodies with different armies, but personally Iīd pick FML over PlayFFArena in a heartbeat.
If itīs going to be a saturday, why donīt we make it after FML S22 is over?. I think based on how weīve been scheduling itīs very likely that the grand final is played within the first two weeks of May so maybe if we make a FFA tournament/cup it could be on May 14th, 21st. Itīs just a suggestion :P
oh man . It's just that most of the top FFA players are active on sundays and we usually play between 12 EST till 18 EST. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I think Gera Cup begins very early in the morning. Thendis usually wakes up at 5am to cast it since it's russian time ? so perhaps our FFA tournies/cups can be on sunday starting at 10 EST and have a time limit, maybe 90 minutes ?. Perhaps we could coordinate with the admins of Gera Cup to dedicate 1 sunday for FFA cup, so that we don't interfere with their solo tourny :P
sounds like a good idea, perhaps it could start in late april when season 22 is coming to an end (semi finals/finals). Also, maybe team up with Thendis ? you could have him as guest in some of the games and he may upload the games on his youtube account.
If I may suggest, do you think these future tournaments could be done on sundays ? since usually saturdays there are solo tournies.
Overall, I think FFA will see a big jump in activity this year, looking forward being active :)
this is not my game, but maybe give seksi the 10 pts for playing in M20 since he can pretty much play on sundays and he finish 2nd in my game yesterday.
