News / Persuade's Saturday Custom FFA Event!~~!~
« on: September 22, 2014, 12:52:36 pm »
:FMLN:

Hello dearies, vagabonds, and lightweights everyone else!

This Saturday (yes I said Saturday this time) I will be hosting a new custom game FFA brought to you by the mind of Persuade and the technical prowess of Alice.

What could possible be more fun and more skill based than getting random heroes in FFA?

Well... I'm glad you asked, because when we play this weekend, not only will you be getting random heroes, but they will COME WITH RANDOM SPELLS & ABILITIES TOO.

So if you would like to play on our 8 player Random Ability Map, please be available Saturday 9/27 around 1300 EST / 1900 CET.  (I may do one later/earlier/Sunday as well, depending on my own availability)

Post here with questions/comments/sign ups.

News / Persuade's Experiment - Computer Crashing
« on: June 11, 2014, 04:58:30 pm »
:FMLN:

Yes yes I know, it's been like 3 years since the last one, I don't even remember the mode, nor who won, which sucks for that person because I always give recognition in here.

BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER, BECAUSE THIS SUNDAY PERSUADE IS HOSTING A 4V4 MATCH WITH FOOD LIMIT REMOVED.**

**Persuade nor FML is not responsible for any computers crashing as a result of this game.

You read that right guys.  Prepare your computers anus's, because some of you will be dropping.

And we hope you do, because Lightweight thinks he can handle 1200 food armies by himself. (300 max per player cuz wc3 is dumb)

If you would like to play this, please post here.  The map is undecided so far, but it will be a big one.  Time will be Sunday 15th at 1330 EST

News / FML Season 19 Preseason discussion
« on: June 03, 2014, 03:31:39 pm »
:FMLN:

After another successful FML season with a brand new winner, Mog_Skynet, we wanted to take this time before we announce season 19 to see how everyone feels about map progression and map choice during the season.

When choosing maps we typically look for something that is well received within the community, but also provides the possibility of a fair and balanced game.  Then we alternate between map sizes to allow different types of players to be able to show off their different skills, whether it be map knowledge, macro, micro, or general FFA sense.

Before we announce the Season 19 format, and the maps, we would like to know what you, the community, would like to see this upcoming season.

If you have any map suggestions, whether it be current maps modified with fixed spawns, or classics that we just haven't used, we want to hear your opinions to make this upcoming season as entertaining as possible.

News / FML Season 19 Sneak Preview Patch Notes
« on: April 01, 2014, 11:22:52 am »
:FMLN:

Hello everyone,

We here at FML have noticed some trends regarding imbalances during FFA games, and have decided that since Blizzard will never fix these issues, we’re going to go ahead and implement them into Season 19 ourselves.
Here is a sneak peak of some of the changes we have planned, please give us your opinions on them!

Fixes
- Fixed an issue where air units were getting stuck on certain maps due to terrain.
- Fixed an issue where units could not be selected when they crossed the outside boundaries on maps.
- Fixed an issue where units with 0 collision size were able to “pop” out other units.
- Fixed an issue where purge was able to work through invulnerability.
- Fixed an issue where critical strike had an extra 0 at the end of it's damage potential.

Maps
- Hurricane isles added to map pool

Balance Changes

Undead
- Skeleton Mastery now affects Black Arrow minions.
- Shades now provide gold when transmuted.
- Curse now affects mechanical units.
- Nerubian towers damage now has an aoe of 100 radius.

Orc
- Removed the invulnerability phase of Batriders “Unstable Concoction”
- Items may now be used during Hex.

Night Elf
- Corrosive Breath now has a toggle feature, and affects Siege Engines.
- Moon Wells no longer heal mana.
- Mountain Giants may now hit air units when they have a club.

Human
- Masonry may now be upgraded a total of 5 times.  Levels 4 and 5 increase the health and armor the same values as previous levels.
 - Mass teleport mana cost increased from 100 to 150 and cooldown increased from 20 seconds to 40 seconds.
- Flying Machines have been reworked.  Cost has been increased from 90 gold 30 wood to 180 gold 50 wood and now produce two at a time for 1 food.  Health and damage have now been reduced by 50%.

Neutral
- Lava spawns now split at 8 attacks, down from 11.
- Naga may now move through water
- Tinker Cluster Rockets is no longer channeling

We hope these changes add some more creativity and excitement in the games for season 19 and thank you all for your cooperation.

News / Persuade's Experiments - Sky's the Limit
« on: February 18, 2014, 04:00:12 pm »
:FMLN:

Greetings Children!

It has been a long winter, but it's time to start having some fun again. Welcome to this week's episode of Persuade's Experiments!

It's going to be rather simple this time, but I have a few ideas in mind over the next few months that should create some rather fun games indeed.

I want a rather large map where people have loooooooots of space, so I will be hosting (still choosing one of the bigger maps) regardless of how many players we get.

The rules/restrictions for this experiment are as follows.

- Supply cap increased to 999
- Upkeep removed
- No other rules

I will be hosting this on Sunday the 23rd around 1500 EST 2100 CET.

Players;

1. Persuade
2. Magadansky
3. Humie
4. Meeds
5. Wuffle
6. Wreck
7. Ludix
8. Mattias
9. Jey
10. 4erwac
11. Mattias
12. Pinball
13. J33
14. Ebo

Please post in this thread if you have any questions or wish to play.

Thank you!

*Disclaimer - please note that Persuade or any FML affiliates will not be responsible if you lose or your computer crashes due to the severe lag of infinite gyrocopters.
