Re: FML Season 28 | Round 2 Match 9 (Winner's Bracket)

:Russia: :ud: qwest
:USA: :ra: Eshan
:Germany: :ra: Slythe
:Peru: :hu: ZsSuperCumulo

Street fighter VS Bleach
This game will be one of the hardest for me. Everyone here has the knowledge and skills to take the win and qualify directly to the finals. I think Qwest and Eshan are probably, at the moment, one of my most consistent opponents throught all seasons, but one old folk who we haven't heard much from is Slythe. He was very active until season 25, then he took a break for two seasons. Now with his return, I face him once more so I'm looking forward his strange and unpredicted hero combinations like Pitlord, beastmaster, naga ; hence, Urahara from Bleach (you never know what he has under the sleeve).

Match 10 (Winner's Bracket)

:Germany: :orc: ena1337
:Poland: :ne: Gradient
:Russia: :ra: reinforceement-
:Russia: :hu: AJIKAIII

Dragon Ball Z
I think the skill level in this group is about the same. The big surprise is Gradient, who has been winning recently quite a lot. It almost seems as if he has awaken from his previous state of severe autism and has now moved into the other end of the spectrum, High functioning autism or Asperger's. I mean we saw him defeat Seksi in ThunderLake (just like in the image below), which, to me, is flabbergasting. Next is Reinforcement, who I always viewed as little Tyrant or Tyrant's squad lol. He played well on Fountain of manip and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins this game. I'd say that, currently, he is top 3 undead. The other two players are natural born killers, I mean Ena YOLOed on Neon City and won with very little difficulties (partly because the game was chaotic), and AJIKAII, a meticulous tactician, whose apm (usually above 320, fucking bionic right!?) leaves us wondering how can we comepete against that?

Match 11 (Loser's Bracket)

:USA: :ra: Seksi
:Peru: :ne: headintheclouds
:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Sweden: :ra: junkerzam

I hope Junkerzam shows up: his games are usually fun to watch and he is a mannered individual. If this happens, we'll see the Swedish mafia at its full potential. Ruthlessly teaming out my fellow citizen Heads, who still has trouble dealing with his early 1v1s and inetivably losing the game. However, the one, and possibly only, hope for this awesome side of the globe is Seksi or, as shown in the picture, violent Ken. Now, why violent? Because it's all in, you either win this or Arizona is going bye bye:

Match 12 (Loser's Bracket)

:Bulgaria: :ra: rbr.Godfather
:USA: :ud: Vyvanne
:Russia: :ra: mrSweets
:USA: :ne: FML|Mog

Another well balanced game. Godfather has earned the reputation of sitting, chatting, towering and hoarding, so if the other players are cool with this play style, we should expect a long game, specially if it's played on Sanctuary. On the hand, mrSweets might play more aggressively. I really don't know how well he plays, but I remember Wreck destroyed him in Equalrium few seasons ago. Lastly, this two folks are probably the "meat" of this match. I mean this is almost another Street Fighter game. Vyvanne as Ryu vs Mog as Nash, a clash that I'm so glad it's happening this season. Mog rarely plays bot or inhouse for that matter, while Vyvanne is frequentely active at nights and while we may know how Vyvanne and Seksi do in 1v1 FFA, we have no clue about Mog's skill level compared to Vyvanne. I'm looking forward this match, and possibly shoutcasting it with my fellow Party leaders and officials from Germany  :Germany:  :icon_cool: :icon_biggrin:

Match 13 (Loser's Bracket)

:Argentina: :ne: supremo
:USA: :ra: IWANTWC4
:USA: :ne: Dovekie
:Germany: :ra: Joggel

Another game I'm looking forward observing, primarily because we have Doveki and Supremo. The latter proved to be a worthy opponent in round 1, where he got 3v1 for being too PODEROSO. Now he will face another PODEROSO opponent, Doveki. This individual has the skills required to take down any power house from FML. We saw it in an annonymus game of TBR last year; the map was Harvest of Sorrow and Wrecktify got trained wrecked in elf mirror. Let's see if Supremo's wushu martial arts can defeat American Jean Claude Van Damme.
One last note, the other two are wildcards, and if they play it right, they can also take the win.

Match 14 (Loser's Bracket)

:Germany: :ra: trunkz
:Czech: :hu: Lil Tic
:Russia: :ra: Jaod
:Russia: :orc: b100death

If trunkz shows up, then I'd love to see him face b100 one more time. Last year, at nights, we used to play inhouse 4 ways and the games were always constant action. I mean with players like Seksi, b100, Trunkz and others of that level it was "rush or get rushed". Now, b100 may be a favorite, but LilTic and Jaod can also provide some entertainment value. And, since Jaod is a little bit more familiarized with b100 style, maybe this time he can take proper action beforehand. Lastly, Lil Tic reminds me a lot of QQs (I don't know why, but I sense some correlation in their play style lol).

Match 15 (Loser's Bracket)

:Germany: :ra: WeAkUD
:Russia: :orc: Airenikus
:USA: :ud: JSRGN
:Russia: :orc: JIexa_b

@WeAkUD lost all his FML coins. What he doesn't realize is that there is a limited amount of this "fake" currency that only the mighty Renaud has created for all of us. Furthermore, this will be the last season our lovely Canadian admin produces these coins so you better make smart bets pal! (Let's be honest though, aarni basically screwed him over due to the mess Ena created - smart move by ena or not, he won regardless -) So with this being said, good luck to Tox.
The other two may have similar levels, but JSRGN seems a little bit more solid to me, at least in the overall aspect of FFA meta. Let's just hope this time he actually practices the map so that he doesn't blame his loss on it. A wise comment made by Vargas Llosa about dying comes to mind (for FFA, it'd be about losing): Knowing how to lose is no less important than how to win

Match 16 (Loser's Bracket)

:France: :ud: Ugrilainen
:Bulgaria: :ud: ObserveAndLearn
:Finland: :ra: aarnikratti
:Germany: :orc: Pinballmap

The only sad part about this game is that Pinballmap rage quit  :icon_frown:. In Flames will forever live in us @Pinballmap . The good part is that we may now get GEASS, Noex or Alien, which means Ugri and aarni will have a tough time winning this match  :icon_confused:. Since Ugri helped me in M2 vs Shave, I hope he wins this. However, against aggressive players like aarni and Magadansky's shadow (or mini Maga as I call him) Ugri will have to take some lessons from 120 and depend a lot on chatting and scouting to know when to strike, just like today vs Mog.

Re: FML Season 29 | Round 3 :Peru: :hu: zS.SuperCumulo
:Sweden: :ra: junkerzam
:Bulgaria: :orc: Godfather
:Argentina: :ne: Supremo

Cumulo, Junker, and Godfather fight for 1 hour while ignoring Supremo. In that 1 hour he stays mainly in his base in High Upkeep, until at a random moment he decides to attack a random player. That player is taken out instantly due to the 100 limit Elf army Supremo has. Supremo gains high levels and steamrolls the rest of the players to victory.

:USA: :ra: Eshan
:Russia: :orc: DeniskaEE
:Sweden: :orc: Fetta_ook
:Russia: :ra: Jaod

Depending on the race he picks, Eshan wins either within 1 hour, or in 3 hours.

:Czech: :hu: Lil Tic
:Albania: :orc: ena1337
:Russia: :ra: Dinamo-
:Poland: :ne: Gradient

Lil Tic takes ena out with first attack at 10th minute mark. Dinamo suicides Gradient. EZ Katka for Lil Ticky!

:USA: :ud: Vyvanne
:Bulgaria: :ud: jOeybadaSs_
:Finland: :ra: aarnikratti
:Germany: :hu: QQs

A very hard to predict game. However, Methix has the best sustain here. Unless something goes wrong he should win.

:Germany: :hu: GEASS
:Germany: :ne: Trunkz
:USA: :ra: Donald-Trump
:Russia: :orc: Jiexa

30 of the first 35 buildings of Donald are towers, so Trunk skips him and goes to Geass. He kills Geass with first attack. Having DH lvl 6 at 15th minute mark makes him a target for Donald and Lexa. They team him up for 2 hours until his infinite moon juice finally gets depleted and he loses. Lexa and Donald fight. In the meantime Geass has 1 hidden building in the corner of the map. He uses that building and 1 peasant to win the game.

:Russia: :ud: qwest
:Germany: :ra: Slythe
:Russia: :ud: Reinforcement-
:Germany: :ra: Shave

Since Shave rq'ed Warcraft for the 10th time this year, this game is hard to predict as there will be a substitute. However, assuming that another non-Russian subs, the game should go something like this - Rein fights 2 hours vs everyone and kills them. In the meantime qwest takes 15 expos, and unsummons all buildings except for a Necropolis, a Graveyard, and 100 towers in the corner of the map. He stays at 30 limit whole game and wins the game eventually, backstabbing Rein, while Rein has been helping him survive whole game.

Re: FML Season 29 | Semi-Final :Sweden: :ra: junkerzam
:Russia: :ra: reinforceement-
:USA: :ra: Eshan
:France: :ra: SosoHasRedHair

Interesting cast: Trash Metal vs Mikoyan Gurevich vs a rat from NY sewage and vs a Kebab.

Given how the kebab played in round 1, round 3 and round 4, just sittig and hoarding on his favorite MS map and TL, I wouldnt expect anything different from him. Now, the Russian Airforce did the same in round 4, but I haven't watched his other games so Idk if it's a pattern; nevertheless, I've briefly seen his tinker alchem usage as elf and it seemed strong to take on any top player. As for junkerzam, his style has remained intact over the years and I expect a good performance from him. If he goes random and gets human his odds will dramatically increase! Since he gets to pick the map I think he will most likely pick a standard FFA map like Twight Light or Silverpine. I don't think MS is a good idea since it favors orcs (and unds?) greatly, so perhaps a perfectly substitute map could be Equalrium. Finally, shitshan will probably go random as a way to undermine himself and do his usual crap: chat, manip and lie on and on. Since his life revolves around this game so much, if he loses this match he may end up jumping off the Brooklyn bridge, thus making FML a more peaceful place.

My final take is that if Eshan makes it into the three way then he will most likely win, so taking him out like in round 1 or round 4 is the best way to secure a spot in the finals. If the latter happens then it could go either way, but I think the winner will be either retarded voice Kebab or In Flames Junkerzam.

Re: FML Season 29 | Semi-Final Season slowly coming to a conclusion and damn, some surprises there aswell as some expected stuff.
The three most tryhard ppl (besides maybe 2-3 others) and competetive nerds in Cumulo, Liltic and Eshan made it again to final or semi, meanwhile there were a big bunch of "go with the flow & mood“  players.

Cannot say too much about the entertainment factor of games, since i watched 2 streams and obsed 2 games only.
I feel like the new pts system made the race tot he semis & finals pretty close that it´s inevitable to make atleast 2 or even 3 semifinals to make it more fair. Also it would grant more playoff and higher tension games, which usually makes for more fun and drama.
To the semis:

Junkerzam seemed like a possessed crazy cat, trying kinda hard, doing his Bonkerzam stuff. Using his new/ fetta bromance account appleofagonay (long live the alliteration) brought him luck (let´s forget about that unfortunate disc, can be happy he did not get preteamed in 50% of his games like eshanna).  Fetta somehow will also be in that game due tot he strong scandinavian-4-month- of- darkness spirit link, that also helped him to get the necessary level to advance in R4 and bring the swedish assnaked-alpha-apathy  to the light to everyones delight - once again.

Reinforcement plays quite consistently and saved last seasons finals after the withdrawal from his fellow russian. I just saw the infamous first round game by him where he went tunnel vision early vs shave for the cancellation of his early first expand. He uses now some tinker, panda, alchi combo or whatever, to me he is still undead… we´ll see with what he comes up. And hopefully, once he makes it tot he finals, admins will write his name correctly on ffamasters….

Eshan will be crawling about a hideous strategy to puppet and manip the other guys already and digging deep in his memories which player could be biased towards another, holding grudges or having certain tendencies and  for that eshan will be getting help by cambridge analytics for some detailed big data research. He has by far the worst micro of all these players and that´s why he probably gets ignored, but of course he will be paranoid about getting analed early, so he will build asap 80 food and chat for his utter life.

Shave did not distract himself by chatting nearly nonstop crap in discord with simply leaving it – weak move. But he raised to be an unstoppable force with the help of some cheesy alchi/mk/pal mass air strat, he better plays something not so imba or i foresee him being preteamed out after 15 mins, sadly.
Or maybe using the name of his big idol Yane redesigned the structure of his braincells and let him become the real Gosu, SuperSaiyajin Level Ultimate Number. That first round fluke in the matrix started the whole process and created the outburst of genetic freakiness.

I´d wish Reinforcement will win this cuz he seems the most relaxed, cool guy, but both Junkerzam and Eshan with their experience in tricky games have a slight edge imo, leaving shave as a small underdog. But overall that game seems to be wide open to be won by any of these players.

WC3: Reforged Hey guys,

Hope you're still there and excited as I am to play FFA in Reforged.  I haven't played WC in a couple of months and I know it will probably be December until it's released, but you can bet I will be back to play FFA in Reforged and go for #1, stream actively and help promote/build the FFA scene!

Who's with me?

Re: FML Season 30 | Round 2 M8

:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Germany: :ra: Joggel
:Russia: :orc: Airenikus
:Argentina: :ne: supremo

Map Pool: Monsoon non-LV, Meson de la Taberna, Battleground LV

Fetta had a great showing last game until Vyvanne went super saiyan. He used supremo as the tome he is. Airenikus is a strong cunning player that might be rusty, while Joggel is a powerhouse that doesn't have the late game mastered yet. Fetta will likely try to force teaming on others, but Joggel may have the mechanics to pull through.

M9

:Germany: :orc: Life
:Czech_Republic: :hu: Lil Tic
:Russia: :ud: Jaod
:Germany: :hu: QQs

Map Pool: Silverpine Forest, Greenville Woods, Cold Plains

Nice to see Jaod back. These maps don't favor Lil Tic's playstyle and he will be forced to adapt a bit. QQs and Lil Tic have similar style's but QQs is much more rusty. Life played well in his first game and he could put in a good showing, but Tic has the upper hand overall.

M10

:Germany: :ra: WeAkUD
:Sweden: :ra: junkerzam
:Estonia: :orc: betoon
:Bulgaria: :ra: rbr.Godfather

Map Pool: Harvest of Sorrow, Blasted Lands, Templo de la Corona

Janker is just too good right now. Betoon will get tomed. Tox, if he shows, might suicide. Godfather always has a good chance, but his showing last game was a bit lackluster.

M11

:Finland: :ra: aarnikratti
:Germany: :ra: Slythe
:Russia: :orc: JIexa_b
:Russia: :orc: b100death

Map Pool: Anarchy Castle, Thunder Lake, Mur'Gul Oasis (no island)

Thank God I don't have to choose these maps. b100 is the best player here, but all are solid. Slythe doesn't do well on small maps, and aarni has a better shot here than usual. Jiexa also feels a bit rusty right now.

M12

:USA: :ud: Vyvanne
:USA: :ne: FML|Mog
:USA: :ra: Eshan
:Other: :ra: ehrmantraut

Map Pool: Twilight Ruins non-LV, La Rosa Nautica, Emerald Shores FML

Nice cast. Vyvanne's power levels are off the charts right now. Mog is rusty but always good. DV is in shape and could rush someone out.

M13

:Switzerland: :ra: noexxx
:Russia: :ud: qwest
:Germany: :ra: trunkz
:Peru: :hu: ZsSuperCumulo

Map Pool: Market Square, Purity 2.0, Sanctuary non-LV

Awesome cast. Qwest and Cumulo are sneaky bastards. Noe and Trunkz are gryffindor gods. This will come down to a tense 3way. Either Qwest or Cumulo will fold first. Then Trunkz will get teamed, then Noe will get teamed, and then...I think...well I have no idea, but I'm rooting for Noexxx aka THOR.

M14

:Other: :ra: Peanut
:Finland: :ra: Rain
:Russia: :ra: mrSweets
:Poland: :ne: Gradient

Map Pool: Northshire LV, Phantom Grove non-LV, Library

The losers pool. Will Rain show up and dominate? Or will Peanut get the free win? Gradi always a threat but I think he doesn't get to hide on these maps. WTF is Library?

Re: FML Season 30 | Round 2

Round 2 will be played until September 29. Go post your predictions!

M8

:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Germany: :ra: Joggel
:Russia: :orc: Airenikus
:Argentina: :ne: supremo

Pretty easy to predict. Two tomes and we have Airen and Joggel. Depending on how supremo woke up in the morning depends who he will suicide. I hope he suicide fetta. Joggel is strong in mirror as he raped me last game but bad position. Its 70/30 chances Joggel/Airen to win. Would be pretty calm game.

Map Pool: Monsoon non-LV, Meson de la Taberna, Battleground LV

M9

:Germany: :orc: Life
:Czech_Republic: :hu: Lil Tic
:Russia: :ud: Jaod
:Germany: :hu: QQs

Three tomes folowed by mass tower lil tic abuser. Tic will just sit base and rush some orc or just abuse the undead till death. The other three players are really bad. As I remember Jaod did mass statues vs mass gargs and QQs just rushes or suicides someone. Easy win for Lil (Island) tic.

Map Pool: Silverpine Forest, Greenville Woods, Cold Plains

M10

:Germany: :ra: WeAkUD
:Sweden: :ra: junkerzam
:Estonia: :orc: betoon
:Bulgaria: :ra: rbr.Godfather

If tox shows would be great. We will team junker till death , if he dont show junker will have easy game prolly toming me and then smashes the sub and betoon.

Map Pool: Harvest of Sorrow, Blasted Lands, Templo de la Corona

M11

:Finland: :ra: aarnikratti
:Germany: :ra: Slythe
:Russia: :orc: JIexa_b
:Russia: :orc: b100death

Without doubt arni is the player with highest wining games in fml history, solo history, wc3l, finnish baseball league and paraolympics 110m hurdles. His confidence of having so much records, apm, medals and huskeys will give him advantage over the other guys. As we know lexa is tome of power and, slythe will drophack b100 like last game he did with Peanut. Winner obvious here.

Map Pool: Anarchy Castle, Thunder Lake, Mur'Gul Oasis (no island)

M12

:USA: :ud: Vyvanne
:USA: :ne: FML|Mog
:USA: :ra: Eshan
:Other: :ra: ehrmantraut

Star cast game again. Vyvyane is really pro asian micro guy. Really high IQ in the long term games (no troll).
DV prolly forgot to pay his internet bill last time and of course he got disced. (Dv if you need money for bills pm me). Nice to see mog playing again, unique style and making players rage really fast. Depending on the three-way and if Eshan is in it , killing Eshan first and teaming him up 3v1 would be best  option here for all other. Three way with eshan is always cancer growing every second. I will go with CALMASIANMAN aka Vyv.

Map Pool: Twilight Ruins non-LV, La Rosa Nautica, Emerald Shores FML

M13

:Switzerland: :ra: noexxx
:Russia: :ud: qwest
:Germany: :ra: trunkz
:Peru: :hu: ZsSuperCumulo

Long story short.
Trunkz kills lama. Baby Roger kills qwest.
Baby roger wins. End of story.

Map Pool: Market Square, Purity 2.0, Sanctuary non-LV

M14

:Other: :ra: Peanut
:Finland: :ra: Rain
:Russia: :ra: mrSweets
:Poland: :ne: Gradient

Peanut showed nice skills last game but for a short period of time. He got disced unfortunately. As we know sweets is maybe the biggest tome in the whole fml history conquering with fetta for that title. I will go with Gradi prolly just because we will see two undeads and orc against him which is perfect for his aids style. Tinker, panda, whatever. Base race till death.

Map Pool: Northshire LV, Phantom Grove non-LV, Library

GL HF!
