FML Season 32 | Finals
 The time has come once again for the battle for the ultimate FFA prestige: the fight for the FML season title! These four players fought tooth-and-nail throughout the season, and proved their mettle to get a spot on this stage, so congratulations to these four competitors:   qwest  Peregrine sheik trunkzThe race representation here is interesting as we have multiple players that can play multiple races. Now we wait to see what it all comes down to when the players queue up. Qwest, being the top seed, has chosen Imaginary Friends as the map, so it should be a very interesting game. Players - please go schedule your match and hopefully we can get a nice live stream, possibly on B2W. On paper that game looks legit. First 4 of regular season went to the final. Despite a lot to be desired during the season it could conclude in a very interesting game. We have the animosity between qwest and eshen and between qwest and trunkz. Meanwhile trunkz and eshen seem to show some odd mutual respect to each other. Sheik seems to be out of drama picture – so far! Also notable how many times qwest and trunkz have been in a final past seasons (together with junkerzam). Pretty solid. It's super unlikely that trunkz and eshen will fight each other early (although that would benefit trunkz). So we either end up with a lot of small skirmishes or fights with other pairings. Qwest: Seemingly had a smooth sliding into the final. If he has some time and motivation he is clear#1 ladder player aswell. Killed the current ladder season with just one very active day. He picked a map that has room for a lot of strategical opportunities and is far from the standard 4way player map. Very bold move to pick that one. Interesting to see with what gameplan he enters the game. He had a couple of really rough finals. I remember him getting teamed pretty hard (vs dv and noexx), rushed out (by cumulo) or suicided (by trunkz) so let's see how he deals with all that. Eshen: Woulda been surprised if he hadn't already dmed other final participants. To qwest: "hey bro, peace for that game, okay? I know i did a lot of shit past games we had together but i will be honorable this one! Really want fair game." And to sheik:" Yo, awesome semifinal game! We played same team remember? We friends and i respect you so much. If i can't win i really want you to win it." To trunkz:"Hey trunky, a bit lucky in semifinal but you played strong season – you deserved final! And btw we need watch out for union of two russians xD. USA and Germany good alliance for years now :P. You always welcome in my base to hide and build when qwest rush you." Of course even for eshen standards that woulda been a bit too obvious but you get the point i assume... He is clearly the worst player in that one and will be underestimated for it. A lot of times the overlooked player in finals won so that would'nt be a surprise at all. Sheik: Can only repeat that he looks like the total package ffa player. His semifinal game was a piece of art. He still appears to be fresh in the game and probably does not carry that much of bad experiences therefore into that final. He can be relaxed and just play it. Also because it's usually damn hard to win a semifinal and final afterwards in fml. Only done 1 or 2 times. Probably he should care not to get into the war of words too much especially if it's becoming a long game. Getting into manipfests with very talkative guys and native english speakers can be very draining over time. Needs to prepare a strategy to deal with the chatting and that it won't influence him too much. Trunkz: He needs to be careful with not looking too strong. Imo he can take either of them out midgame pretty easily once his creeproute will be working. With levels and full army there won't be a way to beat him for undead. As usual he needs to be prepared for not losing via baserace. Should have a lot of wisps hidden :D. If he does not win i can see him make eshen win somehow in the end. So sticking around long enough and using massive lameness and extreme manips every single game seems to be enough. What a sad day for FFA and FML. Absolutely terrible that this pathological lier and desperate manipper with his means-spirited and highly toxic and fake character finally had enough luck for getting through. What a shame, what a disgrace. I despise his style of playing ffa and this result is a travesty. Everyone who congratulates that manipulative dipshit is doing so wrong and somewhat supports that unscrupulous style. FML Season 33 | Go!
 Hey Guys, Not gonna lie, it has been a relaxing year without FML. But since I'm getting tired of Legion TD, I guess I need some FFA to observe. Therefore, it's time for FML Season 33 and it'll launch on April 1st. You can sign up by posting your name into this thread until March 31. We'll accept any non-smurfing players that are known to the community or manage to win an inhouse game. As it is a pain in the ass to manage scheduling and results via this website, I came up with a plan to manage scheduling via separate Discord channels and match result posting via a Google Form. I think it'll work much better for all of us. With this season being run mostly by me, I kindly ask you to respect my decisions and don't be stupid! I don't have the desire to moderate a freaking Discord kindergarten, but if I see something I don't like, I will not hesitate to ban you. This includes heavy insults, racism and posting real life pics of other people. I spent a lot of time in other communities and not a single one was as lax in terms of rules as this one. Same applies to ingame decisions. In the past, I was willing to discuss and explain everything. It did not prevent people from accusing me of being biased one way or the other. FML Season 33 | The Winner is...
Congratulations to @qwest for finally winning a long-deserved FML trophy. With four wins in five matches, he's the first (full-time) undead player that takes the title since Tyrant did in 2015. His macro and tactical genious seemed unmatched this season and the final map pick proved to be clever. Thanks to all the participants and the admin team. After my hiatus, I really enjoyed to see some high-level FFA again and I was positively surprised by the absence of drama. Using Discord for orga and scheduling may have led to a bit more confusion every now and then, but it cut the effort for admins in half, in my opinion. Definitely something we'll do again. A bit prematurely, I stated some weeks ago that I'd be willing to run a Team Battle Royale this summer. With us approaching the middle of July, I'm not so sure anymore. While I enjoy many things about TBR, it's also way more challenging from an admin perspective. Furthermore, we got some additional hurdles (not all map files with zoom trigger, Blizzard deactivated shared accounts, etc. etc.). As I'm not the only admin, I don't want to rule it out entirely, but my real life obligations prevent me from playing a key role in it. Another FML Season that starts in Q3 seems more realistic. Last but not least, I don't want to leave unmentioned how much worse the FML Discord Chat has become in my eyes. I stated before that I don't enjoy it and I'm not willing to moderate it anymore. wonderful and serious season! We saw a lot of beautiful games and positive energy. The players really played at the top level, and proved for the umpteenth time that the FML league is the best league in the world!! In which players fight for honor and glory!!! thnx to all the players and admins who invested effort and time!!! And thank you big HIGHTAC, we are lucky to have you!!!
