Re: S27 \| Semi-Final Predictions: Noexxx Gradient Renaud Reinforcement Its easy to predict this game. We have Noexxx who is a great player, and will probably get teamed. We have reinforcement- who is a great player that WONT get teamed. We have renaud, who is an FML champion that WONT get teamed. And we have Gradient, the wild card, who won't get TOUCHED. The game will go like this: Everyone creeps and gets mass expos, Noexxx hits renaud or reinforcement. Gradient hoards. They team noexxx and eveyone gets hurt. Gradient hoards. Renaud tries to hoard. Reinforcement tries to hoard/team. Gradient hoards. In the end, gradient will have 20k+ gold depending on the map. Renaud and Reinfocement will overteam noexxx because they forgot that human got nerfed. Then when noexxx is dead, reinforcement will pwn renaud. They will all be weak. Thats when gradi wins. Re: FML Season 28 \| Round 1 I'm very happy with the line-ups and super excited to see some quality matches finally again. Being the neutral admin here, I won’t predict winners. Match 1 Joggel Donald-Trump Eshan supremo Good one. Eshan and Donald are two of the most durable players in the league, particularly on large maps. I invented the “deceptive silence scale” only for them. The less they chat, the harder they try to hide stuff. Eshan usually peaks on that scale after his main died and he executed his “force peace with sappers”-protocol. I hope for Joggel that the two previously mentioned players will focus on each other, so he doesn’t have to deal with all the manip. Not sure what supremo is going to do. You never know. Being the worst hoarder of the league, his DH will need to carry. Match 2 Mog[skynet] SuperCumulo Ugrilainen Trunkz Welcome back Ugri! I hope he returned from China with some secret FFA strats in his luggage to put up a fight in his first match. As we saw in previous events, communication and scouting are key against Trunks, if you don’t want to serve him the freewin on a silver plate. Having three smart enemies as it’s the case here is promising. Let’s hope SuperCumulo finally manages to ignore the small confidence-monster on his shoulder that seems to tell him that a late game 1 on 1 versus Trunks is a fine idea. Match 3 b100death Jaod Peanut Dovekie Being the one who talked Dovekie into this season, I feel responsible for his well-being. Same goes for b100 who only signed up because Dovekie did. Both do not like manip and therefore I’m even happier that they got drawn in a match with two other men of honor. My motto for this match is either “rust and bust” or “power mummies”. Match 4 Gradient Jiexa_b Seksi Vyvanne I have no idea what this is going to be. Obviously Seksi is the favorite, but his dominance on ladder conceals the fact that he repeatedly struggled in FML. Especially his decision-making with gold disadvantages was sometimes questionable. Gradi made another leap in skill. At times, he seems to become too confident and aggressive early, which weakens his state on the “deceptive silence scale”. Jiexa (not JLexa as I thought until yesterday) and Vyvanne know how to take a win also, and I hope they will put up a fight. Match 5 SteppinRazor Airenikus jOeybadass mrSweets Airen is undeniably one of the greatest hoarders in the league and shares the favorite role with Minimaga. It will depend a lot on the map I think. I guess it might become Silverpine Forest, but I secretly hope for Equalrium. Re: FML Season 28 \| Round 1 Joggel Donald-Trump Eshan supremo Joggel will win any of these players in a fair 1v1. Eshan will try to manip and get the win. Trump will try to hoard and hide under the radar. Supremo can be dangerous with high lvl heroes. This will be a long game with a lot of peacing over and over again, ends up with Joggel winning with three 10 lvl heroes. Match 2 Mog[skynet] SuperCumulo Ugrilainen Trunkz Trunkzzz ez win, no one can win him in a fair fight. Mog no chance with his pure chippo robo elf style. Cumulo might have a chance but I dunno why is Cumulo considered to be some kind of rifle / human macro master? He can be a good player yes, but his playstyle isn't anything special. Ugri lost S12 finals coz his heroes got surrounded by Renaud, yes you heard right, surrounded by Renaud, therefore I think in this match he has hardly any chance against players like Trunkzz or Cumulo either. Match 3 b100death Jaod Peanut Dovekie Dove-"briliianceauraitemiswaste" or "ffafightslast5secsmax"-kie won't win because he can't realize that ffa fights actually lasts much longer than 5 secs and he will also sell the brilliance aura item because it sucks. B100death will beat Jaod or Peanut in first fight but then probably gets teamed after and starts to spam words like "mannequin" "pidar" and "fuffis". Eventually after long game Jaod will win this with hardcore UD micro/macro style game play. Match 4 Gradient Jiexa_b Seksi Vyvanne Gradi #1 here. Hi real pro. Seksi will suicide Vyvanne and vice versa. While that Gradi wipes off jiexa and the rest of the map. Match 5 SteppinRazor Airenikus jOeybadass mrSweets Steppinrazor rusty, won't win. Airenikus will try to manip and hoard but gets teamed by joey and mrsweets. Joey gets high level heroes in the end and beats mrsweets ezily with good hero micro and mass destroyers. Match 6 aarnikratti ena1337 ToX Godfather Fuck my ass, @here. Match 7 Fetta_ook Reinforcement- Headintheclouds Junkerzam Swedish mafia will get cucked, as usually. Headintheclouds will take a surprise win here. Rein definitely has a top UD micro (DV lvl) but headintheclouds wins anyways. Match 8 Pinballmap JSRGN AJIKAIII Slythe Like Hightac said above, this game reflects the level of the fml seasons back then: mass "hands off the keyboard”-fights, no micro and mass hoarding and towers. I think Cumulo will try to kill qwest fast , but wont kill him fast enough. Slythe is full autist so i guess he will jump from enemy to enemy balancing the game. Eshan will most likely win this one for sure. Match 10 (Winner's Bracket) ena1337 Gradient reinforceement- AJIKAIII Top autist player will win this one. Game review - Reinforcement dies to Ena, Alka dies to Gradient. Gradient kills ENA with mass abuse gg. This time with autist players like fetta and head I think he will manage to survive cuz those guys just tunnel and suicide. I hope they suicide each other. Every player but Slythe likes to lose their main bases. Cumulo by accident, Eshan to appear weak and Qwest unsummons for the gold. If they pick Sanctuary, we will see a happy flame and hoard fest. I hope Slythe, being the only player with a main base, will get teamed 3v1, so we get to see his overbuffed pitlord going on a glaive slaughter. Match 10 (Winner's Bracket) ena1337 Gradient reinforceement- AJIKAIII If ena would have Gradi’s FFA sense or Gradi ena’s micro, this match would be easier to predict. Since both tend to rambo, it could become an open battle and long 4-way. Reinforcement may struggle, as he feels the pressure of Tom betting all his coins on his idol. Match 11 (Loser's Bracket) Seksi headintheclouds fetta_ook junkerzam As usual, we may see head and fetta struggling in their early 1on1s, but whoever manages to survive may take it home, if Seksi sacrifices his last 100 pop as he did on Thunder Lake. I hope Junker will show up and not pass Trunks as the most unreliable player of the season. Apart from that, I hope that Cumulo uses the spare time to teach supremo how to go for the neck and finish his 1on1 more decisively if he has the chance to do so. Lil Tic is a master of defense, but he was rarely tested by top players so far. Maybe he can win their hearts with his friendly chat. At least Jaod should be open for that. Maybe Airen’s positive mindset about the basic conditions outweighs JSRGN’s negative thoughts regarding map and running 20 players short. Admins sincerely apologize for not exclusively picking maps with islands, 50 gold mines and labs. Each of them have denied me in previous seasons from finals. So through the fires of hell we go.... Ryu has always been my favorite street fighter because he's well balanced in all categories, but not the best at any of them, much like me in ffa. But this game I may have to turn into Dark Ryu to win... Match 10 (Winner's Bracket) ena1337 Gradient reinforceement- AJIKAIII Ena is at his best when he's using autism and chaos to his advantage, and in this game he will have plenty of both to play with. Alkash will rush someone, and rein will win his 1v1...gradient and ena will try to hoard but it will be tough in this match. Only one of them can prevail. Vyvanne has the mechanics to kick some ass but he has yet to evolve into the beast version of himself. I remember in the old days he was a force to be reckoned with. The Arena! 24 Player FFA - Saturday @ 14 EST / 20 CET Hello, FFA Masters! We will be hosting a 24 PLAYER FFA this Saturday (Oct 14) @ 14:00 EST / 20:00 CET. The game name will be = 24 PLAYER FFA #2 It will be hosted on BNet. You can join from any server. The map will be "The Arena". You can download it directly here: https://ufile.io/8y0zr View map here: https://image.ibb.co/hYGfjU/123.png The focus in making this map was to avoid having too much gold, and also avoid it from being too big of a map. I believe these goals were accomplished. The first play test ended in just over 2 hours and all of the gold on the map was drained. Since then, I have increased the gold slightly as well as increasing the health of the trees (more lumber per tree) since players were running out of lumber. I've also added to the middle. Most 24 Player Maps are simply too large with too much gold. The layout of this map is similar in a sense to Marketsquare where each player has their own semi-enclosed base with an opening in the front. The creeps will be familiar as I used creep camps from some of the best maps (Marketsquare, Twilight Ruins, Lost Temple, etc.) The first play test turned out to be a nice game and it felt surprisingly balanced for the first iteration. This time around should be even better and there will be a good turnout of FML/FFA players in this game! Lastly, we picked a time that would interfere with FML games as least as possible. There should only be 1 FML game running which starts an hour earlier this Saturday. Come join us and look for the game to be hosted approx. 30 minutes before 14 EST / 20 CET this Saturday, OCT 14.
