How about this Sunday at 14:30est? Not sure what time that is for elessar.... Just trying to throw something out there

This might be difficult. Seems like 14est. Sunday or Thursday next week would work for all but elessar. Or some other day 23est would work for all but tyrant. Don't see any times where tyrant and elessar could both play....

Round 2 Qualifiers:

Q14
:Denmark: :human: zTsoso
:United_Kingdom: :ud: MakingAComeBack
:France: :orc: bRy4nisback
:Germany: :orc: Pinballmap

Seems like the obvious choice here. Don't actually know who the ud is?

Q15
:Hungaria: :undead: Tyrant66
:Kazakhstan: :undead: DV-
:USA: :ne: Mog[skynet]
:Australia: :orc: Elessar

I'm probably just being an arrogant prick, but I think this is 2nd best match of the round.

Q16
:Serbia: :ne: LifeForRent
:Ukraine: :orc: Nline
:Sweden: :undead: Junkerzam
:USA: :ud: WorpeX

He caught a lucky break in round 1 with a disconnect of someone tanking his base, but overall his play was solid and he could secure his spot with a win here.

Q17
:Russia: :orc: AJIKAIII
:Germany: :ne: CallMeImba
:USA: :undead: Audigy
:USA: :ra: Seksi

Who knows what Audigy will do...but Seksi is smart and will find a way to win

Q18
:Russia: :undead: Lord-Vova
:Russia: :undead: Spielman
:Germany: :ne: FAiL.Life
:France: :human: Valefort

Could be anyone's game, but I think vale or life will win--vova won't get another free win

Q19
:United_Kingdom: :ne: WarchiefRich
:USA: :undead: SteppinRazor
:Canada: :human: Mr.Sparkle
:Russia: :undead: Kpect

He is rambo mode, but with Rich also in the game...that might work!

Q20
:Bulgaria: :undead: XoZ_Magadansky
:USA: :undead: Red7z7
:Sweden: :ra: bRain.Man
:France: :human: Ponty

Maga is still one of the very best players, even after taking a lot of time off. And with BrainMan's comp issues....seems like Maga's game.

Q21
:Germany: :orc: Ostone
:USA: :ne: Nooblex
:Germany: :human: Letshavesomefun
:Finland: :ne: j33.

He tomed me and I raged at him, so now I am picking him! Honestly though, this is MOTW for me.

Q22
:Canada: :hu: htrt
:USA: :orc: Vyvanne
:Russia: :undead: qwest
:USA: :ra: AlienWareOwnZ

Don't think these players will fall for qwest manip.

Q23
:Switzerland: :human: noexxx
:Ukraine: :undead: screpi
:USA: :undead: PLZLEAVEDUCK
:Australia: :human: SweeT

noexxx really is an enigma to me, some games he looks godly, and some games he looks....super drunk. Which noexxx will we see!

Q24
:Croatia: :undead: KenoStrikesBack
:Denmark: :undead: Tleilaxu
:Canada: :ne: FML_Renaud
:USA: :undead: fow

GO KENO!

Q25
:Brazil: :human: Malboy
:USA: :ne: i-never-smile
:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Germany: :human: Lightweight

He used a tinker last round so I must pick him. Also he looked promising from what I've seem...but last round got screwed by some really dumb play from others (sorry red)

Q26
:USA: :ne: Dovekie
:USA: :ra: Eshan
:USA: :human: Wrecktify
:Peru: :undead: NoMercy2

No idea where dovekie is or if he is still playing wc3? Either way Wreck is really goood.

Q27
:Russia: :orc: Ludix
:Sweden: :orc: Hudkraem
:Spain: :undead: Prometeus
:World: :ra2: Sub

Here is to wishful thinking that the sub denies some major points  :icon_biggrin:

General Discussion / Re: playffa - I decided to stop - outcomes
« on: November 13, 2014, 09:16:06 pm »
Very depressing news. I know none of us can know exactly what you are feeling right now, but I know somewhat the disappointment and frustrations you are certainly going through and know they are very depressing to you personally. I agree with the community though... if anything, now is the time to start over with all the support you have from many people. I know it will not be the same overnight, but it won't take another year to achieve maybe even greater numbers than what you had during the last solo event.

I don't think playffa would ever be the same without you at the helm, and I don't think it could ever succeed again in even a shade of its former glory if you are not a major part of this (hopefully) transitional period. Maybe a new beginning is just what playffa needs. But that decision rests with you; we as a community will support you and help you in the many ways we can, but you are playffa's creator, and if you give up, I fear we will never see playffa achieve its full potential. Potential I think we were just beginning to see glimpses of with the amount of players it brought back to the game, the amount of new players it brought to the game type, and the the overall revival of what was previously thought to be a "dead game".

I'm sure we could raise enough money to move it to a more secure host if that is the direction ugri decides to take. I haven't previously donated to playffa, but I would definitely donate some of what I can if it helped keep playffa alive and kicking in a more secure and functional way. And I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels that way. The amount of activity and competition playffa has brought back to wc3 is incredible and is something worth standing behind and supporting in my opinion.

Damn I didn't see the thread or I would have posted for sure! I'm sure I speak for most of the community when I say we will do what is necessary to keep playffa running one way or another!

Ugri fighting~

Well whatever the format is, good thing former champions get auto qualified......right? :D :D : D

But yeah... I have a similar problem as Renaud; losing in qualifiers haha

Jokes aside I agree with both super long posts from blex and mage.

TLDR version: don't want stagnation, but want best players playing for highest level and quality games
