Title: Game Night Player Suggestion & Feedback Thread
Post by: FML|Mage on August 21, 2014, 10:36:34 am
Okay, I've locked the Game Night thread since I want to be able to have an easily archived playlist essentially.  However I do want to hear everyone's thoughts on who they want to hear from.  So if you have a player you think would make for a great Game Night, then recommend away!

Maga
Persuade
Yane
Renaud
Target
Lightweight
Worpex
Nooblex
Seksi

Did not know where else to put my comment about the game night shoutcast with maga.

Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed listening to it. It was really interesting for me to hear about the glorious history of the FML days when maga was active, and to hear maga´s  thoughts on the seasons, game experiences, frustrations and thoughts on the competitive environment. A good opportunity to learn about this league´s history as well.

I haven´t been here for so long so I find these episodes exciting and helpful. It makes me able to identify my feelings about the game with other players.

My choice is yane. Keep it up!

Great job Mage and Maga!
I agree with every word zTsoso said.

Id like to hear Yane, Persuade or LW!

Great interview with lots of good insights. I definitely liked the discussion about the shift in the metagame over time as well as Maga's thoughts on each of the races. Perhaps in future interviews there could be more focus on that as well. Another question I would like players to give thoughts on is what they think is the most important factors for winning FFA in any given match. I also would like to hear players try to describe their own playstyle or if they have any general approaches/strategies that they employ.

For future interviews, I would like to hear from Renaud, htrt, or Target if that's possible.

I think Worpex and Nooblex would be good candidates too.

I want to see some classic FML players!! Its gonna be hard to get in contact with them though. Lost.Ancient or Nooblex would be ideal. F-L-Y would also be spectacular!!

As for the active players, i'd like to see guys who've been around the scene a long time but not necessarily top tier players. Someone like SteppinRazor or Ashalar. We all know them by name but really know nothing about them since they aren't exactly the "top tier" and don't get the exposure that some others do.

I agree with Worpex! But also voting for Renaud as well (wanna hear his part of the longest game record haha).

Thanks for the feedback guys, glad you liked it. It was very enjoyable for me as well! :)

We can now cross Renaud off the list.  Let us know what you think about it and feedback is greatly appreciated!

I liked the first one better, probably because of the interaction between ingame and talking. In this one Renaud is playing and you observe :/. You could do a 2v2v2v2 next time.

I also liked the one with Maga better. But I did enjoy listening to your interview with Renaud as well.

I Agree with lw about gaming / observing - just seems more cozy and relaxed like that.

I did manage to take one note of the interview: scouting. Always missed but ever so important - thanks for pointing that out Renaud.

There was no talk about any "golden age" or stuff like that - but overall i think the questions were good, and it is also nice to hear what ffa legends like Renaud think about the current season / players etc.

True, and helpful feedback!  I wanted to try out a FFA while observing to see if people liked that better since we do have our roots in FFA.  What are other peoples thoughts on this?  Happy to go back to 2v2 if people enjoy that more and I really like the 2v2v2v2 idea though Idk how to guarantee we're on the same team on the bot (or does it no loner randomly shuffle?)

I really liked this interview a lot. I only really wished it was a bit longer, maybe 45 mins like maga's was. I agree with the others that the interview seems more cozy when you are both playing the same game, whether that be 2v2 AT or 2v2v2v2 or even some random custom game like maze escape.

It was interesting to hear Renaud's comments about the evolution of the meta game and the overall skill-level nowadays versus in the earlier seasons. It's great to hear that the overall skill level is higher now, even if that means a more frustrating style of play in the games. It will be interesting to see how the game evolves from here.

Also I really laughed at Renaud's last words haha.

Game Night with Mog is up!  Tried to take some comments into consideration though obviously once we started the game that all went right out the window.

was having my dinner and watching the interview with mog at the same time.
Ive always loved mog, coz he has an awesome nickname.
Just make sure to make interviews 45 min - not longer nor shorter.

Nice work to Mage and Mog on the last one. Keeping it at 40-45 mins seems best. Also ending the interview with what content is coming up next I think flows more naturally than following that with saying bye to Mog as the very end. Just a small change that I think would improve the vid :)
