TBR 3 | Rules
« on: July 02, 2018, 01:20:07 am »

Schedule

Draft: July 2 at 15 ET / 21 CET on twitch.tv/ffamastersleague
Draft Order: Wrecktify > QQs > DV > Eshan > Cumulo
Event: July 7 - August 11

Captains will be able to seat their players for matches, according to availability and preferences.

Points

• A team will get rewarded 10 points for each won 4-way (random hero or not random hero) and 15 points for each won 2v2v2v2 and 8-way.

• A team will get rewarded 3 points for each player that has played at least four matches.

• There are four “race crowns” (one for each race) that teams can win during the season, by having most (non 2v2v2v2)-wins with one of the races (random race will count depending on the race drawn in each match). Each race crown will be awarded with 10 points.

Rules

The normal FML rule book applies to TBR, but its special structure requires some additions.

• Team captains will be able to communicate on behalf of their players and gather in a separate Discord captain channel. Captains will be held accountable for their team’s action and must help to ensure smooth operation.

• Players will be informed about their specific anonymous smurfs before each match. They need to create these smurfs on the Battle.net Northrend realm and join the game lobby. In order to not reveal player identities, it is recommended to only communicate per private message to host, admins or via their captain.

• The use of the commands “!ping” and “!from” is strictly prohibited and may be penalized. Players can only check ping themselves and whisper it to the host.

• As people in TBR often impersonate other community members or smurf, this will not be taken into consideration when an observer need to be kicked from the game lobby. An unknown account will be handled as an unknown observer and the account of a captain will always have observer priority.

• There is no minimum or maximum number of matches that a player can be seated for. However, every player that is available for three matches, should be granted the opportunity to play at least three matches by their captain

Game Modes

4-way
4-way Random Hero
4-way Pacifist (no player is allowed to go above 55 Food before he hasn’t hoarded 10k gold initially)
4-way “TBR2 Memory Mode” (no chat and random race players may ban a hero for all players)
2v2v2v2
8-way Preteam (with two players from each team and pre-teaming allowed)

Further explanation:

4-way TBR2 Memory Mode

• Players may not chat in this game mode

• Only allowed commands are “pause please” and “go?/go” for their very purposes

• If a player plays random race, he may ban one specific hero for all players from the game. Final race selection needs to be made before banned heroes are communicated

• Players need to communicate their hero ban choice per whisper to the host, at least 30 seconds before they write that they’re “ready”. The host will then write the bans into the lobby chat (e.g. “Panda and SH are banned from the game”) and wait for each player’s confirmation before starting the game.

• If the game needs to be rehosted for whatever reason, after it was started, every player needs to select the race he had in the first match (also the random players).

8-way Preteam

• As a consequence to all the pre-team dramas in previous events, we invented a pre-team mode for all the lovers of collaborative cheating. It will be played as a normal 8-way, but with two players per team (from four teams). These two players are allowed to do whatever it takes to let one of them win the game.

• Apparently, the two players per team know each others account name and will be able to private chat or voice chat while playing. If voice chat is not possible, it is recommended to at least copy the whispering command into the clipboard (i.e. “/w playername_123”).

• Spawn luck will play a significant role in this mode. However, many different strategies are possible. Players could intentionally try to hide who their ally is or they team up with someone from a different team.

• Item and xp feeding to your ally is allowed in this game mode.
