So, we had 4 games on Crystal Cliffs in this past weekends tournament. As a whole I think it's a great map, however it was certainly good to get some live games played on it to see the strengths and weaknesses of it. That being said, we know that we don't have the only opinions out there and we'd like to hear what you liked, and what you didn't like about the map. I'll go ahead and start it off.
Pros:
Very nice looking map, terrain is incredibly well done
Interesting Creeps. Variety from what is normally seen which is nice.
Has 4 goblin labs on it.
Cons:
The creeps seem a bit easy (minus the red camps)
The natural green creep mines are extremely close to the base and a little bit imbalanced for humans at least I think since it's such an easy milita creep expo. Undead takes quite a bit longer to set up.
Bases may be a bit too close together, human players are easily able to rush those that are next to them.

Biggest issue I noticed was that there was not enough room to move a ground army. I was getting units caught in the narrow pathways with just 3 heroes a statue and 2 fiends.

I've seen ebo starting to trush expo creeps which make me think they were in camp mode instead of normal mode?

I have an issue with the name of the map

Yeah its really really bad for ground units - i played one game vs bots to test creeps etc. - my heroes got stuck on the narrow entrances.
Can someone post the replays from the tournament?
its really hard to judge this map without seeing real players playing on it.

I hate ground where you cannot build buildings. I found some near bases and expo I think
