2020 Review I wanted to take some time to take a look back at this turbulent year 2020 from an FFA perspective.

Reforged and W3Champions

Many of us saw the disaster coming well before the actual release, when Blizzard dropped their Reforged beta around October 2019. Still, there was some hope that what we played on the PTR would not resemble the release version. As we know now, it did. In retrospect, I’m still quite certain that Warcraft 3 wouldn’t be more alive today without Reforged. Sure, we would have preferred a better game and positive buzz, but it is what it is. The FML community was always able to adapt and survive in their niche.

Maybe it was naive of me to think that this niche could blend flawlessly into the broader Warcraft 3 environment. When Pad first created W3Champions I realized that this would be our only chance to ever implement a maintained FFA ladder again. While mostly before my time, so many players embraced FFArena as the gold standard of FFA ladder history. On one hand, the hype around a custom W3Champions ladder was great for Warcraft 3 as a whole, but on the other, FFA not really a priority for the development team at the time.

Around the mid of May, Pad decided to ask by poll again what W3Champions features people would be most interested in. And while FFA sneakily found its way into the poll, I was doubtful if it could make it to the top of the rankings. The following days were proof of the dedication of the FML community and I was very proud that we pulled this through and raised 800 €. And not even a month later, we had what we wanted. After 1vs1 and 2vs2, FFA became the third available mode on W3champions and much more players than I anticipated were willing to give it a try.

Sure, FFA is not for everyone and probably never has been. I was pleased to see the attention for our beloved game mode, but also disappointed how quickly some people made their judgement. What wouldn’t have been an issue a decade ago, was now amplified significantly via Twitch, Reddit and Twitter. Of course, it is much more difficult to take wins on the highest solo level than winning an FFA match with whatever players. But that doesn’t mean every skillful Warcraft 3 player grasps FFA at first glance. Ironically, ToD was referencing the Dunning-Kruger effect on his stream back then, in the context of backseat gaming. I guess we can conclude that FFA does not work for people without a certain level of frustration tolerance to cope with teaming and manip. Also, if you stream for many viewers without a delay, you summon sad stream-sniping creatures that show up and try to ruin your game.

On the flipside, I was disappointed how short-sighted many FML community members behaved in ladder games and on the W3Champions Discord server. Sure, it’s very annoying if new players pretend to know it all and spread bullshit about FFA, but we all started at some point. Who should serve as an ambassador for FFA if not us? To this very day, community members try to get each other banned on a ladder that is already dead. I’m sure that it could have survived longer without being sabotaged from our very own people. I guess we just can’t have nice things.

Events and Outlook

In some ways, the FML year 2020 was a full success. Unlike with some of the seasons before, I had a lot of fun with FML Season 31. Interesting players, exciting games and a much greater reach. In total, our semi-finals and the final got more than 50k views on the Back2warcraft YouTube channel. For a brief moment in time, it felt as if FFA had arrived in the Warcraft 3 mainstream. Not sure if that was ever someone’s goal, but it felt good to see that many more people could appreciate FFA as we do.

While we only had one FML season, there was a smooth Team Battle Royale 5 this summer, the Quarantine Cup, Ugri’s FFA Challenge, a map contest and we are ending the year with the Team Battle Deluxe.

As I learned early in my three years of admining FML, there is no perfect way to run this league. Sometimes there are unsolvable dilemmas, but even if the decision is obvious, endless discussions are always mandatory. I guess that’s predictable of a bunch of players that is willing to play 3- or 4- or even 5-hour matches. It might be annoying, but I never expected to be appreciated or liked for what I do, as long as I felt the necessary respect to run this thing. I still do from most people, but my joy of FFA games has declined. Maybe it’s just a phase, maybe it’s not.

In my eyes, the quality of games always depended on three player-dependent factors. The skill, the level of “tryhardness” and the willingness to invest gold and play aggressively. No one wants to watch or participate in games were all players are only sitting and chatting for two hours. Sure, it’s an easy way to win games, even for good players, if they pretend to be broke with a 20k gold bank. Maybe it’s just a general lack of skill that prevents it from being punished more often. Either way, I wish there were fewer useless chat battles in games, especially from players that are capable to win without them. When I started to play FFA, manip was my best bet to take a win here and there. But I was fortunate to play and watch FFA with enough skilled players to realize that less chat means more fun for everyone. And in a small scene like this, everyone can influence the way FFA is played and perceived.

The same applies to the community in general. There has always been some sort of toxicity and trolling in FFA, but it is almost all there is in our Discord chat nowadays. Not sure if that is a welcoming or interesting environment for anyone but the handful of active chatters. As long as it is no hate speech or racist stuff, I won’t spend my spare time any longer to moderate it.

What will 2021 bring? I don’t know. While I still love FFA, there are private reasons that may prevent me from being overly active, at least in the first half of the year. Time will show who steps up or how active the inhouse scene is going to be during that period of time. I want to thank all of you that participated and supported FML in 2020. Have a good transition to 2021 and good luck, have fun!

Re: 2020 Review Thanks for all your efforts hightac, you have almost single handedly (credits to other admins as well) kept the scene alive the last 2-3 years.

The discord server is a sad place these days, you would think you entered a locker room for 14y olds but sadly its grown ups discussing anal sex, gay jokes, what hot girls they would do or not and other wc3 related topics. This mentality obviously taints ladder games as well and until most of these trolls are rooted out, understandably no new players will join.

For the game format, maybe a timer could increase activity on ladder. Most players coming from the solo scene will leave the game 30min into the 3h sitfest, its also hard to play the occasional ladder ffa when u dont know if u can commit your time or if u will have to leave because gradient hides trees in every corner of the map. These games can be saved for FML/TBR etc

Re: Early FFA History by X[Hunters]
What a great read!

Although I played on europe at the time and was a part of the notorious FF4 clan for a while this was very nice to read!

Without ffareplays I would be surprised if "pro ffa" ever took off

ffareplays didn't really have anything to do with FML. I was an admin of WCReplays at the time I started FML and didn't even know the FFA scene existed. Most replays were actually posted on that site rather then ffareplays in the early seasons. We obviously moved over to ffareplays once the true FFA players got in my ear though. Had ffareplays not existed, things certainly would have been different but FML would have still happened.

With that said, the FML's post s8 revival can be attributed to ffareplays! Mr. Sparkle had started posting a series of old FML replays to reminisce the old seasons. I was starting to miss FML at the time and I wandered onto the site during this and saw the comments on the posts saying how much other people missed the league too. It wasn't too long after that FML returned with S10!

FML Season 32 | Sign up!

Dear community,

It's time for FML Season 32. You can sign up from now on, until April 10 in this thread. The first of four rounds is going to take place from April 12 to May 2. The season will have an oldschool structure without fancy gimmicks.

While I will assist mostly in setting up the season, our new admin NoMercy is going to play a key role in managing the event. We will be looking into implementing the zoom trigger into further map files, but no promises.

We hope for numerous sign ups. As usual, admins reserve the right to reject players that lack FFA experience, reliability or manners.

Cheers,
HighTac

ancient feuds are revived as former enemies struggle vs new foes. will the old hatreds lead to future bloodshed, or will frosty allegiances form where fiery lava once boiled...

in round 1 i barely escaped Articuno, now I face Zapdos...and Team Rocket. glhf

:Russia: :ud: qwest

:France: :ra: SyDe

on paper it looks like a good lineup, but in reality qwest doesnt lose vs this cast. everyone will be too busy teaming SyDe aka Articuno to notice that qwest did exactly the same thing he does every single game: hoard gold and hide 100. unless SyDe rushes him, but i think qwest could even hold it. gradient will go 100 to backstab someone in 4way. airenikus seems rusty, and had a poor showing last game, i don't expect him to be much more than a bat/tower guy here. qwest's micro and experience wins out with +3 pts

the last two champs. junker was by far the best player here, but hes rusty and shave has improved. whoever tomes supremo will have a big lead, but shave has learned how to hoard under the radar and avoid teaming. enjoi has good manners and nice skills, i'd like to see him prevail here, but i won't bet against the "champ"

a very interesting match. i give rulaZ the slight edge here, because he has a talent for maintaining his composure under pressure. but peanut could outwit them all. i doubt stein will get away with any cheese with this cast, he better prepare some new godlike strategy since losing 100 food vs 3 heroes didn't seem to work. punpun fought well last round, but he relies too much on micro and early aggression to be successful vs these wiley coyotes.

godzilla vs mecha-godzilla. two top elves with completely opposite styles who both dominated their first round matches by passing 20k gold. it really depends on spawns, but if lelu is able to avoid being rushed by trunkz, i think he can win. if mecha-trunkz can eliminate lelu, the other two have 0 chance of stopping him.

vyvanne and m00se are both rare UD's who play with honor. vyvanne will gain an early lead, by toming one of these players, but the call of the fetta will soon get vyvanne teamed.  m00se and LION showed their willingness to join forces last game (even though they failed badly.) if fetta manips them into eliminating vyvanne, then fetta wins. if not, i'll go with my murican brother, the Elsha-of-IEL

Every season we get to listen to SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA and this time they are joined by their Scandinavian alt-right wing little brother Lelu who plays drums. Stein will face the full power of the Caribou Preteam, and he better #RushLelu if he wants to survive into the 3way with angry Papa Fetta. Mommy janker takes it home.

This is an interesting match but Trunkz seems unstoppable this season by anyone not named TUKIMKIM aka the Trunkzkiller aka Perfect Cell. Sheik has gained some FFA Spidey Senses, something that EL HIJO the Lion still lacks (learn to know your own color bro). Punpun has a shot here too, as he fights well and has good awareness, but he may end up suiciding Sheik as payment for their past games.

Will Gradient finally get his first win of the season? The perfect storm aligns, as the MD gods intervened in the matchmaking process, and Gradient's OnlyFans subscribers paid Ponty to match him with an easy cast. Airenikus likes giving wins to Qwest for rubles, so i'm sure he's for sale here. Supremo gives free wins because he refuses to make chippo. And I.0wnedYou gives free wins cause he refuses to make DK. The Argentinian-Brazilian rivalry will be strong here. But lets be real, no one in this game is Messi.

Re: FML Season 32 - Round 4 ! Recently i started to watch some ffa streams again, watch results and even read some discord chat.
Nice to see a new season be played out with seeing some familiar and newer names.
It would been super cool if the final cast would been: Neytpoh, Sheik, Syde, Trunkz. But that's wishful thinking and most likely 1-2 others will also enter the final playoff game of this season.

M22
:United_Kingdom: :ra: Enjoi
:France: :ra: SyDe
:USA: :ra: Peregrine
:Ireland: :ud: M00se

Enjoi looks like a good undead with decent fundamental undead mechanics and micro. Probably lacks some experience in FML but seems overall like a promising prospect.

Syde has really fine and robotstyle army control. I don't know how much he plays, but it seems that he is far from being as active as he used to be like 1-2 years ago. Considered as one of the nicest and balanced guys in FML and the WC3 1n1 scene overall he should stay like that but maybe just forget about that aswell as long as he is being in a game of free for all! ;-D He could try to channel the flow he had when he was facing me on some deathrose game 1,5 years ago. I was watching his streamtape afterwards and he was shouting „putain“ when i stayed around to harras his expand with single Paladin after he repeatedly killed my main with 100 before i could produce army (thanks to a lack of lumber). I had a good jiggle seeing and hearing that and i was fine with him winning, but i could not let him getting that win so smoothly after several warnings for „letting me produce units bro“ :-).

Perecringe/ Eshan/ Nightwing etc.
That guy is on a roll, duh? 3 Wins and another win in a sub game :D. Seems like people being ignorant about his history of how he is winning games or simply do not care about it. Just after a few moments of watching some of his games, chat or stream i was triggered. I bite my tongue most of the time when i see and read from that guy but once in a while there needs to be a reminder to other players and maybe newer ffaers, who maybe
don´t know what this dude is mostly about. He stands for so many things why FFA is sometimes such a mess:
1. Stalling games (just waits, plays passively, drags gameprogression out, tires people out making them lose patience) seemingly having all the time in the world to win a freaking ffa game.
2. Heavy manipulations nonstop. And not only during a game (there are plenty of heavy-users and you should not trust anyone's words in a FFA game anyway) but that guy does it before games and after games, too! There is not a single other player that created so much drama and chit-chat after a game. Usually after he loses, ofc course. When he wins he is all about praising the others play (sure, they probably played exactly in his cards), complimenting their fighting skills (who cares about winning fights, when you lose the game afterwards) or calling himself lucky (yeah indeed: lucky about the others ignorance and carelessness).
3. Extremely toxic. Carries past ingame-drama or events and uses that for manipping opportunities. (just look at his r4 prediction thread. He implies that he is ready to get rushed by Syde for stealing the win from him in r1. That's called reversed psychology and he hopes that neither Syde or anyone else actually does what he proposes.  Also blames people on ladder so much and prematurely about preteam and maphack which causes a very hostile environment to play in.

Apparently he is around everywhere these days. I saw him saying his two cents to basically every matter on discord, streaming games (i saw Gradient, Supremo, Punpun, Sheik game) where he mostly insults guys (Supremo & Gradient) and trying to make fun of them or blaming Sheik for being manipulative and passive – a good example where he blames others for stuff he is doing himself nonstop and way harder. Then talking about how Qwest is Sheiks biggest rival in a potential final with those two...hello pregame manips ~.~ Furthermore i recognized how he wrote in a scheduling threat from another match, trying to force those players to play it asap...n/c. All this omnipresence is somehow suspicious and is mostly used by him for manipulative purposes.

Also it is really hilarious how he streams games in the beginning of a season when he got rank 1 somehow again (ofc with avoiding tough casts and all the stuff being mentioned above) and then it says „rank 1 FFA“ in the stream description but of course once the season would progress and he is in danger of losing the „to-him- so-precious-rank 1" to someone else he stops streaming because of being afraid that'll be used against him. But early on for flexing and probaly some attention issues he needs every of his 5 observes to know which ranked player they are watching... :D
Additionally he was streaming some months ago with the tag „god of ffa“ or king of ffa or whatever it was...- more accurate it would be: Her Shameless Lameness, the spoiled princess of Manipville.

Excuse the wall of text but please see this as it is: An appeal to not let Perecringe get away with his lame unscrupulous playstyle.
Here are my quick tips dealing with him:
Go hard on him in games, get rid of him whenever there is a chance to.
Don't believe whatever he says. Think by your own and scout (especially for hidden armies, zeppelins, items).
Ignore him outside of games unless he obviously once again trying to create a web of manipulative content – then expose him and point to it.

M00se: He is around for a while now and showed some good games on TBR if i remember right. He is a little bit of a predictable undead standard user so he might need to mix it up with necrowagon or unholy frenzied wyrms and fiends. Gotta be a tough game for him but he if he flies under the radar he maybe has a shot in a long 4way when he can survive until the 3way with a good bank.

M23
:Russia: :ud: qwest
:Serbia: :ne: Voxius
:Russia: :ra: Neytpoh
:Germany: :orc: ostone

Qwest is just a beast when he is motivated and in shape. His mechanics are top notch and he has those not just for the generic undead micro but also for the manipping parts in a game. He tries a lot of mimics during a game but is a very creative player (despite his sticking to armies with just gargs & a few destros or wyrms most of the times) with "inventing" the „qwest build“, finding places to make islands or developing strategies for a lot of scenarios. I disliked it mostly playing vs qwest because he is a wrecking machine and also because of his nasty manips, but he usually does not create any drama or manips after or before games.
He seemingly has some animosity with Neytpoh (stemming probably from some final i cannot really recall or additional other games) which i don't know much about. Hopefully they can figure it out in r4 game or even before, so it won't stand in their way in a potential semifinal or final clash.

Voxius: Around for a while now and even though his results have been quite forgettable until now he seemingly enjoys most of the games and the community. Sometimes he switches a bit quickly from liking guys to hating the same guys shortly after or the way round. He should maybe try to stay a bit more balanced and relaxed and think twice before being friendly with certain guys or being offensive to others :). If he plays his cards right he might be able to snatch some good points in this game.

Neytpoh: Looks like he is in a very good shape atm and playing not only solo (he is easily top 20 EU when active) but also being refining his ffa-skills in order for a run playing for the title – he is undoubtly one of the big favourites for it. Strong showings in first rounds with just carelessly giving away a win in that – admittingly – unique sappering ending sequence. Qwest cannot touch him in pure micro battles but in every other aspect. Will be interesting to see how they handle their rivalry.

Ostone: He is such a good player when being in shape and motivated but he been around so little the past years and it's a bit of a pity.

M24
:Austria: :hu: rulaZ
:USA: :ra: GivenToFly
:Other: :ra: Peanut
:USA: :ud: Vyvanne

Rulaz is a smart player with most of the times good decision making. His army compositions are also often well balanced. Sometimes it appears that he fades when it becomes a bit more chaotic. So when he stays composed and focused i see him winning this, depending on who subs and how motivated Vyvanne will be.

GivenToFly aka Seeker i only know a little bit about. Is he the same guy as Flameseeker? Pretty solid and experienced player but maybe needs to try a bit harder these days. He and Vyvanne were suiciding each other some other game and here we have the chance to see if they get over that and start playing smarter or if that story will be re-written.

Peanut: Will be subbed. The guy has much potential but gets poked a lot by technical issues. When he is active and doesn't suffer from internet oder laptop issues he should be a safe pick for a semifinal.

Vyvanne: Such a good player but the myth around him often stands in his way. Somehow he is targeted a lot although he has not been around that much the past years. Maybe switching to his orc style will be a refreshing change.

M25
:Sweden: :ra: junkerzam
:Finland: :ne: Leluaami
:Germany: :orc: 5te1n
:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook

Junkerzam: A bit unlucky he ran into Neytpoh early in two of his games. The first time he actually had a good shot but stumbled under the pressure. Known for being an aggressive and brash player he has a big task ahead of him in that tricky cast.

Leluaami: One of the most improved players during the past years. Sometimes he seems a bit shaky in his approach but when he gets into his flow he is hard to beat these days combining strong elf play with different strats and herocombos and the ability of staying around and coming back into many games even when it's looking tough.

5Te1n: The stars aligned early in the ladder season with him wiping the floor with his pitiful opposition. Unfortunately he lost his magic but here is the inevitable outcome: He will qualify for the semifinals. First he will grab 23 points and then every other who might stand above him in the rankings will receive penalty points for being unacceptable rightwingers with no desire for progression and happiness in life.

fetta_ook: Few days ago i watched Seksis stream and he was playing on market square vs some cheeser orc. At first i was a bit unsure who that guy could be but then this happened: That orc proposed peace to Seksi which he accepted. Then Seksi had to fight in his own base vs strong undead, struggling to keep his heroes alive, but he fought the undead back who had to tp out. Seksis DK was low on HP and DANG that blademaster popped out of nowhere and assassinated the Deathknight with his sword. Perfect example of how to identify a fetta_ook in your game ;-). He was playing decently btw in that game so he might have a small chance of pulling of an upset here IF he and his fellow swede do not suicide each other. If they actually do suicide there will be a lot of nice 2n2 action needed to heal their relationship!

M26
:Russia: :ra: sheik
:Germany: :ra: trunkz
:Peru: :ne: headintheclouds
:Peru: :ra: LION

Sheik: First time i saw him around was in TBR 1 when he was part of the legendary TMNT alongside me. He had a couple of good games but came up short and he was in good company with that! Since then a lot has changed and besides being a very consistent solo and 2n2 player with good results he seemingly also gathered enough experience in ffa to win games repeatedly. His season showed that he is getting a polished ffaer more and more. Besides the obviously present micro he strings the other aspects of the game together very well.

Trunkz: created that cool and very effective elf strategy which was copied many times. What is a strength in having experience with so many games playing the same strategy there also is a weakness in it since it is very predictable yet oftenly so hard to beat. From what i'ven seen there is only a good way to rush him early once the demonunter is not lvl 6 or even better not yet lvl 5! After that it becomes incredible hard to fight him and if there is no coordinated teaming (to which every player has to succumb sooner or later) basically the only chance is to baserace (to which he also adapted better during the years). Given that it will be interesting to see if there will be a fair clash between the powerhouses sheik and trunkz.

Headintheclouds/PunPun: I remember having some heated inhouse games with him. He is a good elf with getting better understanding of the overall ffa game. I saw some of that infamous regame mess on imaginary friends where he showed some good and some developable stuff. If he can control his temper and stay cool and composed he has a shot as an underdog in that strong cast.

Lion: Sorry if he does not have an aka i don't know anything about him.

M27
:Peru: :ud: NoMercy2
:Peru: :hu: tukimkim
:Finland: :ra: aarnikratti

NoMercy2: Always was wondering why it was 2! Is it meant to be „to“ and for style purposes it is 2?
Or had he an account NoMercy and wanted to do another account and what else could it have been than NoMercy2?! ;) He seems a bit rusty. Wasn't he around when cumulo was active? He got some experience and might be able to show more than he has so far in the season.

Tukimkim: The guy has a background in melodic music. His name just sounds cool when be spoken. Besides some cryptic chat in discord i can say nothing about him except that the peruvian recruiting program works apparently well!

Aarni-the-karateguy: After his brilliant R1 game i thought he could make a walkthrough in S32. Sadly he have not played it consequently the next rounds when he had sheik in some trouble early after a good rush or teaming neytpoh poorly and not finishing perecringe. I'd like to see a focused and more tryhard aarninator in this game to give shave a run for his money.

Letshavesomefun: Interesting how „shave“ developed from that accountname :D. Reminds me of how „Reinforcement“ would become „Cement“ suddenly (good luck on your 1v1 journey and stop losing games vs Arma the way you did, i was rooting for you and game1 was a pretty cool one).
Shave is a walking contradiction and an enigmatic phenomenon. Being a fashion influencer on discord, sharing his beachvolleyball and tinder stories with the world and plague his gaming buddies with his windows95 PC (is it true that he got a new one after all?!) and still being able to pull out miracles like winning games with strong casts (like the final last year and r3 game) despite his practice contains of 95% chatting.

:Poland: :ne: Gradient
:Brazil: :ra: SelfControlMe
:Argentina: :ne: supremo
:Russia: :orc: Airenikus

Gradient: Legendary polish power! Most famous FFA player outside of the FML/discord FFA bubble for sure. Emperor of Grubby in FFA and Solo. Since his supremacy in FFA bored him he decided to went fulltime MD pro and finally prepares to face Alice in a Best-of-9 Series 1n1 MD.
He will either be subbed because of playing MD or shows up, bash his opponents in 25 mins, takes 23 points and joins another MD.

Selfcontrolme: Not the most powerful aka name. Up to interpretation. I have not seen a game by him so far.

Supremo: Together with Gradient my favourite Gimmick player. His strat is underrated and can work once his DH gets lvl6. He suffers a lot from his bad ping and having problems communicating in a game due to lack of english, although it became better!

Airenikus: Imo he should stick to Orc or Undead. Last time i saw his human i did not like it much. He has the ability to stay in games even though facing adversity. In the past i often experienced how much i dislike the tone of his manips but you cannot deny that he has good understanding of the ffa mechanics and a good sense for sneaking wins. Cannot say in what shape he is currently but he is almost always able to compete and is probably the favourite here. I hope being able to watch that game somehow and see in what form he handles supremo and gradient because it's so tough with them in 3ways.

How hard is it to eliminate eshan? -Very hard
Still its the easiest way for syde to win this and 0 reason to not try it

:Russia: :ud: qwest
:Serbia: :ne: Voxius
:Russia: :ra: Neytpoh
:Germany: :orc: ostone

Qwest is usually the master of flying under the radar and teaming the best player(neytpoh here) with the other player. luckily for neytpoh, voxius the t-rex is immune to these pathetic manips and will not help qwest get the freewin. i doubt ostone will show up so as long as the sub is not airenikus i think neytpoh can win this

Ive been cheering for vyvanne last rounds but he seems too rusty + unmotivated, so should be clean sweep for rulaZ

:Peru: :ra: LION

this is by far the best match of the round. clouds sheik and trunks all massive manippers. micro not bad too. i feel bad for lion.... in the end I think Peruvian ping will stop clouds from winning and it will be trunks taking this one

:Brazil: :ra: SelfControlMe
:Argentina: :ne: supremo
:Russia: :orc: Airenikus

pretty sure gradient only won minidotas in 2021. he seems to get dumber and dumber over time. airen on the other hand is in decent shape and his manips should give him the win here

Re: FML Season 32 - Semi-finals ! Looks like two beautiful games ahead of us!
There were discussions about if two semis are good or bad. My stance is: the more games, especially playoff games, the better it is. There will always be close calls to either make direct final, semis or miss those by small margins.
If you had asked people who will make semis before season neither LION, nor headintheclouds or fetta would have been mentioned much i suppose.
Hopefully no discs, no-shows or other shit like that.

Interesting cast. 2 guys that were around very much past years in shave and lelu. Sheik progresses from a dangerous solo player with some ffa-exposure to an all around strong ffaer. And Lion is probably one of the players that's least known by the average ffa-follower who made it to a semi -ever.

M29 - SEMI 1
:Russia: :ra: sheik
His name makes me imagine him like some underground rapper that rules his hood with an iron fist and a bright head. He showed good performances whole season and to me he is the favourite here although there is the current champion, aswell – no pressure though!

:Finland: :ne: Leluaami
l just recognized that if you look at his name not closely enough there is an LeluAARNI in it! So he will somewhat has the brute force strength from his fellow finnish ffa enthusiast thanks to nordic telekinetic techniques. I am wondering also if there are traditions of asking trolls for help in certain situations. In Norwegia there are living a lot of trolls but in Finland there are plenty aswell, aren't there?
Maybe he will also have a cake & coffee call with ENA to discuss the hottest strategies available at the moment.

:Germany: :ra: letshavesomefun
First big question: Will he play human or orc? Second question: will the weather stay shitty as it is right now in Germany so he won't get distracted too much by all the nice things that are the biggest enemies of every wc3 player: fresh air, meeting friends in real life and things like that. Another big Q: Will he have the opportunity to rush Lelu out again? That round 3 game should serve as a nice thought-provoker.

:Peru: :ra: LION
I have a hunch that this is a SMURF. YES A SMURF. Since htrt is playing mass rt 4n4 it is very likely he also has the itch to play FFA, too. And don't forget htrt was actually smurfing as the peruvian guy „nopueseder“ before. His spanish is fluent and the name „lion“ would be a logical choice and a further development of his different types of ffa players compared to animals.
So it's all about if he can get some respect early. Most likely someone will try to rush someone else out to get into a 3way with this mysterious figure from ancient Peru.

This will be all about who can play dh/naga/potm better! And how similar the colors of neytpoh and trunkz will be, so people will confuse them for each other with having basically same color and build! Besides that they are the two clear favourites with the two others being nice surprise additions to that playoff game.

M30 - SEMI 2

:Russia: :ra: Neytpoh
He seemingly takes a lot of pride in fml games and appears to be super disappointed once he loses a game. So he better just improve his game and avoids losing for fcks sake! :-D
If he does not mimic the trunkz build which will cause some funny moments for sure human will be a nice option, both for the game flow and his winning chances (or not?...) Anyway – looking forward to his play!

:Germany: :ra: trunkz
Looks like he is not playing at all right now?! Was nerding like 20 solo games a day and playing a couple of ffas not too long ago though. No clue if he is motivated or tryharding. But usually the 2nd ist always the case! My guess is he will try to eliminate fetta early which should be the easiest given his early micro & race. Then let`s see if others let the orc die or how hard he might get teamed afterwards.

:Peru: :ne: headintheclouds
Has some momentun on his side. Actually there are some scenarios where he could flow really nicely. Like teaming out either Neytpoh or Tunkz going into a 3way with fetta. Or surviving a rush by either of the two favourites while fetta dies and then teaming smartly afterwards. Or even try to take fetta out early by his own to fly under the radar with the two microkings focusing each other.

:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
That's true viking power, patience and resilience! Where is Tox now to stop his reign? - exactly - nowhere to scout or see. I fear others will not be able to hold that bloodlusted scandinavian barbarian in chains. He will break free and set the battlefield on fire. Junker will sit next to him and play the battle drums.

End of this prediction. Or wait. Wait a second. There is some guy that will be so sad if he is not mentioned at all in this article; Sshhhhh - i saw him pregame manipping against Qwest once more in discord channel!
Also i recently checked wc3info for seksis ffa guide a year ago or so and Perecringe had nothing better to do than talking in the comments about how he was a rival of the guy that wrote this article (so people recognize him for being as good as seksi or whatever) and boasting about how the guide would not help with defeating him – whaaaaat?! Talking about stealing someones clout..tztztz :icon_rolleyes:

Enough for now & see you soon.
