Break is over! Round 5 Begins.
« on: January 02, 2012, 09:20:17 pm »
:FMLN:

Welcome back everyone to FML. I know you all had a wonderful break and hopefully now that you've all partied and got just a little bit drunker, tensions between players will ease up and we can start having fun again. This week we have a special treat for all you players as we will be playing on the much glorified custom map known as Harvest of Sorrow. This map is so good that even the FFA king himself made a statement on it:

Quote from: Wrecktify
Step 1: kidnap worpex
Step 2: superglue him to a chair
Step 3: hook up an IV drip of caffeine to his body
Step 4: Have him churn out 10 more maps along harvest of sorrows quality

This week we do away with the "only playing a player once" rule and go into straight-up swiss-style match making. These are some of the toughest match-ups yet!

Round 5

Map: Harvest of Sorrow 1.7d

Technically my comment pertained to the versions with the islands.  Why did you give in to terrorist demands and remove them!?

@Wreck: Someone made a castle greyskull against me one day on the island so I removed them.

@RSM: An undead player made the map. Soooo, hopefully that means good things. :D

Shouldn't rebuke be at 51 points? I vaguely remember one of the admins saying he should of gotten 11 points for his last round. Good question, is PM allowed this round?

"Discuss and vote! Should FML keep PM legal or ban it?"

This thread is made primarily for discussion purposes. It in no way will directly affect league rulings, however, it can influence them.

Never said anything about the ruling being changed for Round 5 or even for this season for that matter. Also never says that it wont be.  Not to mention we've never said that it will be changed at all! You just never know what us sneaky admins will do next.

Lightweight!

Some heavy matchups in this round! From now on every game will be a final.

Kruppe's first thought - to be honest - was:

"Wtf - we have to play on a map created by Worpex? He must be kidding forcing us to play his own map!". Although Kruppe has the highest respect to Worpex he was very irritated.

When Kruppe prepared for his game he found the map difficult, then he understood the way it is created and leads FFA players to the path this map is set up to. It is a shame, that the efforts behind this creation are only lightly honored (as by Kruppe's mostly admired friend and opponent Wrecktify the Great).

This is the best FFA map Kruppe ever played (Kruppe played since ROC. so he knows every map of FFA ladder pool since release).

Dear Sir Worpex,

thank you for this.

Kruppe, who is not greedy but always curious, wants to know if, maybe, Worpex happens to have more maps of this quality at hand?

If not, Kruppe grieves, but alas this masterpiece shows more FFA sense and understanding than anyone could expect.

Bowing deeply,
Kruppe

The fact that one can expand easily even when in a double surround is awesome.

eeehhh, sadly, not really. I have other maps, but none of them are nearly this well refined for FFA play and most of them are 1v1 maps. I did alter the last Frozen Throne Campaign level into a FFA map but its not all that good.
