Great finals! I think you have to accept that in FFA the 'best' player doesn't necessarily win (though in this final I think the better player won) and there is a lot of luck and manipulation and all that jazz. To enjoy it you need a different mindset than you would have for, say, 1v1.

I've also said this before, but this league was very well run with some great and dedicated admins and I look forward to the next season =)

As far as spawns go, I think random spawns add a lot to the flavour of FFA, but I wouldn't be against having fixed (fair) spawns for competitive matches.

Okay.  Are you gonna make dhawks all game even though you lose over half of the fights and then blame the gametype? If you wanna see someone getting 1v3'd, you can watch my last fml game.  The only difference between my 1v3 and your 1v3 is that there are actually 3 other players in the game, they are the ones attacking me, and I didnt just go attack two different peoples' expos and say that it was a 1v3.  Also, I won my game.  And didnt completely lose it from beginning to end like you did.  Oh and I won more than three fights.  And I didnt talk shit on a whole bunch of people I lost to.

Way too cocky to try and win 1v3 >_<

Still, FFA is kind of boring what with all the downtime spent idle in your base and the skill set required is kind of unique and doesn't have a lot to do with actual skill at the game, but rather things like manipulation etc.

I'm learning a lot about FFA thanks to this league, I suppose =)

gg

how is that a 1v3?  what a noob.  can't make simple decisions and blame everything on the game.

1v1? come at me brah

you do not learn anything, because you dont try. You are very touchy and cannot think clearly. Why in the world wouldnt you peace with red and hit yellow. You hit whoever pisses you off endlessly, this is not how ffa works.

You blaming yur defeat on a non existent 3vs1 which never happened show how small is your capacity to learn  :icon_eek:

Nah, I quickly killed one guy off and then proceeded to hit both the remaining players (hitting expos etc.). That's what I mean by 1v3. I provoked both players directly after killing the third, and I just couldn't handle it in the end. Best thing I could do was just take more expos and be more passive after winning so much ground but I was so afraid of running out of wood (not a lot of trees in the bases and no shredders).

The only issue going through my head though, was that I needed a completely different army to kill the orc then I did to kill the elf, so I really wanted one of them to kill the other >_<

Are the spawns fixed, or are close spawns possible? This will greatly influence whether or not I pick Human =)

I should be available for most times but ideally we should play this week, if that's possible.

Starshaped you could have shown more maturity before the game started (the "I want team 1 war") so you were not 100% intelligent yourself.

Dkh players were allowed to obs.

Yes, but he made a big deal about it was my point.

Whenever you enter a league, read the rules of it : you could have left the game until 5 mn mark it would have been a remake. This is a rule you could have use to just leave at start and get your own race. You have no excuse on this point neither.

So yeah elessar is a bad mannered kid but a good player anyway. He uses to chitchat a lot, i dont read or care what is he saying at all.

So the real story is that :

1- you didnt got your race up at start for some reason
2- as you were pissed and most probably suck with orc, you decided to suicide elessar and then write a nice story on how you wanted to defend dkh pride against the guy.

If you actually knew the rule, you would have left and we would have remake with your own race. If host was "so bad", you could have required another one.

You just acted brainlessly out of anger and frustration and completely ruined the game. Note that elessar being suicided didnt even complain about it and never insulted you in game for this. So he proved he wasnt that bad. You otherwise didnt show much intelligence.

I honestly expected more from FML

Well frankly i expected more from you and i woke up just because of this game to be sure an admin would be present. Could have stayed in bed  :icon_rolleyes:

But that's no big deal :icon_exclaim:

I had already decided to just suicide and leave as the screen was loading; Otherwise I would have left for a myriad reasons (wasn't ready, hadn't picked race, awful host etc.).

I suppose I should defend myself, so here goes:

This VK5FRAF kid was flaming everyone from the moment he got on and was a general asshat the entire time. I'm surprised the admin didn't do anything, but whatever. I don't know if he was 'trolling' or anything like that, but it really doesn't matter.  He refused a host that was perfectly fine for everyone else and the admin made us play on some horrible American host (for some reason). He didn't want my clan mates to observe because of "cheating" and at this point I had lost any and all motivation to actually play the match. It just wasn't going to be fun anymore. Not to mention the fact that I gave up a Zotac for this match. So, the host starts without me being ready and so I got random and got Orc. 'Whatever', I thought as I struggled with the awful ping. 'I'll just suicide this guy and leave. This isn't worth my time.' I eventually disced (what a surprise) and I assume the rest of the game was just a 1v1 more or less.

I honestly expected more from FML and I don't think kids with rage issues who flame constantly should be allowed to play, but I also realize that my behaviour pissed a lot of people off. Obviously, anyone who saw my previous game knows I haven't done this before. While I do believe I was (somewhat) morally justified in my actions (though I probably should have just let myself be subbed instead), I understand if I am going to be banned from the league.

:Sweden: bRain.Man_FML will be joining this match in place of :France: JoHny-Boy (Who will be moving into M12 in place of Brain.Man).

So, the time up for scheduling is Saturday 8am EST since JoHny is no longer in this match. Hopefully brainman is ok with that time. Judging by the schedule he posted for the last round, I would say that he should be alright with the time.

I would prefer 10 AM or even later, if possible. Also, I'm moving on either Saturday or Sunday (or possibly during both days) so not entirely sure when I will be availble or when I will have internet. I realize it's kind of late to bring it up, but it was a last minute thing. I'll try to get a more concrete date/time for when I'm moving, but I can try to make it on Saturday 8-10 AM if needed to. Worse case scenario just sub me.
