Some people don't care to play FML ladder though.
FML A/B was a cool concept
Some time you act like you're one of those lone guy
Professional, courteous, and skilled? I don't think these are the qualities that match Q, sorry.

I'm neither professional nor courteous but neither are most of the Lone folk. Hell in 2007 I found out they had a thread gossiping about me and other Northrend players. They said I was definitely a preteamer. As for skilled, I haven't played in a while so who knows how things will go. But there's definitely worse people than me in this league, just look at ebo. So I still have a chance!

Was just a friendly jibe my friend. A lot of Lone folk were exactly as you describe, which is why I left the clan several times (only to rejoin it later, because it was the only true FFA clan on Azeroth). As for this thread you speak of, I was in Lone during this time and don't recall, I remember we did have a huge thread on whether or not we should abandon our "no PM" rule. The results were inconclusive.

i cant believe an entire clan was prissy enough to actually ban pming for its members. pm is not imbalanced... its an element of the game to be utilized like everything else. why not just paly the game in its original entirety...

Personally, I don't really care, as long as the rule is universal.
If it's allowed, I will PM when needed though.
PM is just another tactic, sometimes blunt, sometimes precise (mostly blunt for me, heh). Sometimes it helps, sometimes it kills.

Well tbh most member din't give a shit about the no pm rule, they simply wanted to be in lone, so they agreed to follow it
And actually, "no pm" was a downgrade of the original "no teaming" rule.
We do have a few rules. No caps in our channel, no hate and no teaming. Teaming is taken to be any private chat as well as any blatant and sustained attempt to ally with another player.

Fergo was a wonderful player, and one of the first to identify just how powerful HU is in FFA. I almost think that he didn't want to get teamed himself.

I was lone member forever and always took the side of Q-veta, including this famous monsoon supposed preteaming game which wasnt preteaming at all.
Just Q likes to be a victim and point out a whole community as a single enemy, whether it jews or lone members.

I used the lone teaming rule (and anonymity) to my advantage a few time

Darkness that was a low blow. There were a few moments where Fury was more active than Lone and it had potential if guys like you would have actually joined, giving it more powerhouse players besides axslav, me, pitmclord, and a few other good ones.
You were too much of a frontrunner to join though :p

Just went there and then went to go look at the audio commentary. That got me looking at some of the other old audio commentaries, and now I'm really depressed about the state of WC3. Damn it used to be a lot more awesome (not saying I don't still have fun, but it was awesome when good people played on B.Net still.) So thanks for the nostalgia and the depressing thoughts haha.

Btw i think that there is somebody playing under the name Wr***t**y fooling us around to be him. When was the last time you heard about Wr***t**y playing???
His Garena account was level two, so easy to be created recently. My guess is that murrock is playing as wrecktify. :icon_wink:

This is correct and I don't deny stealing a cheap tactic and using it for my own purposes. In my early days of FFA I played as undead, and I THINK this was around the time that SS was playing, because I saw him actively posting on the Lone forums. I never faced vs. him. You can double check with Eshan or Fly, I played undead vs them and was completely awful, both micro-wise and FFA sense wise. UD was too tough for me so I switched to the imbalance. Then I slowly began to understand FFA more and more as time went on.
The only reason I am so strongly arguing against you Ebo is that I don't want to be misrepresented as someone I am not. Although from what I have heard, he was a respectable + skilled player. So if this is true, why would I deny who I am if I was him?
Also, I never knew that SS formed Fury, I thought it was I-never-smile (or whatever his name was), I just assumed SS was a pure Lone guy. I know almost nothing about a lot of the drama/happenings of the old school FFA because I was never part of the scene. So even if I pretended to be SS, if people attempted to ask me stuff about the old school FFA days, I would have to make it up or guess.
Anyways, I will leave it at that. This has been discussed to death, I won't comment or make fun of the subject anymore, I've already provided all the necessary information and short of comparing RL pics or something, there's nothing more I can say or do.

Well, i'm sure the timeline is fucked, but here is what i remember
-Intial fury is created and disband
-dsof (dark side of ffa) is created and disband
-SS comes back and creates Free
-SS has to leave and hands me TC
-Ppl hate the name, so we rename is Fury (or did we do dsof, and then fury?)
-I hate and fail at being a TC so we give it to i-never-smile
-Smiles has to leave, so we give it to messiah
-I leave, and no clue what happends

Well there might have been a time where fury was more active on the lone forum :P
But lone always had more players, better forum (and better players, imho).
The most we could say, is that there was a few times where Fury had more top spot on the ladder

I am not Shadowsoul. I was making fun of it because Ebo was making a huge deal a few weeks back about how I was him. Then he claimed he was trolling after I showered him with evidence.
But just to clarify (again):
www.battlereports.com and search Darkness for my replays, I was a top solo/AT player before I switched to FFA a few years back, I also have several solo + AT replays not on that site, played during the times when SS was doing FFA, including one posted as an audio for WCR that I posted on ffareplays.com (1.16-1.18 mostly). My APM, hotkeys, build order, etc. are completely different from shadowsoul's as well...

I've played with SS and darkness quite a bit, more so SS, and I don't think they are the same person. I will say that Lone>Fury if you don't mind some of our members pre-teaming on occasion. Rock quarry was this shit and that 6 player jungle map was the worst map I've ever played on it my life. In other news 3 of my professors let us have off next class since it's a 1 day week, and my other monday class professor said "hey how can I fuck up everybodys week? Oh I know I am going to give an exam!"
