Just a remark, this website says CET is EST+7, but I don't care I'll check at 2030 if you guys are here, otherwise I'll wait 1 hour :)

Sigh, technically EST is +7 for CET currently.  Below I'll give the explanation for why that is, why I said +6, and why we use it the way we do.

EST stands for Eastern Standard Time.  This technically is the time used by the East Coast when we have not put daylight savings time into effect.  Since we put daylight savings time into effect we are now technically on EDT.  This stands for Eastern Daylight Time.

CET stands for Central European Time.  However, CET changes with daylight savings.  So they don't switch what type of time they are using based off of if daylight savings is in effect the way the USA does.  So CET is 365 days a year whereas EST is roughly 180 and EDT is roughly 180.

We use EST as the abbreviation for all East Coast times for two reasons.  The first is that my fellow admins felt that I was making life too complicated by being right.  The second is that many European players have no idea that we change what time abbreviation we use based on if we use daylight savings or not.  So we didn't want to confuse them.  Though to be fair I'm not sure many of my American counterparts know about it either.

TL;DR: Just go with there's a 6 hour difference between the US East times we give and CET.

Silly that we use it at all.  It's an antiquated practice that serves no economic gain
