Hmm, either Balthazar or Nemesis. Shit's off the hook, I got like a full size smurf town on my fridge at home... around 50 smurfs + a shitton of props for them.

I think the reason murrock stated for smurphing in s10, was that he wanted a fresh start where he was playing for real and not trolling.

But after a while he simply could not resist his true calling ^^

Or that could simply be a theory someone told me? I forgot

ProtonXX. Undead player who wasn't really anything special at FFA but pretty much invented 4's Proto. Hence the name.

For FFA XX was one of the best wagonmancer, and he did invent the P4K mentality

P4K: Choose a target, kill him rinse and repeat

edit: Looks like we should make a thread of all the historical ffa player

hey wait, XX was actually really good. His style made him really fearsome and he had near-top micro. He was unique for his UD hero combo which included Dk, Panda, DL i think, his perfectly timed fast wagonmancer rush, his P4K style, and he was godlike in fours AT too!

historical player thread would be cool, and if flameseeker and others can supply replays, it would be an amazing resource. like a wc3 ffa wikipedia. i suppose combined with ebo's player profile idea (which I initially resisted I know), we could really set something awesome up!

Anything said by Worpex about XX should be ignored. His personal hatred?annoyance? for XX isn't a secret. XX was a top FFA player, although the combo was DK-PL-PB.

I remember him playing many different combos actually.

His 2 main signatures were: P4K, and necropolises all over the map.

He also played NE back in them olden days.

What I'm now curious about is what's Protocol AT and how XX invented it. Never played AT, so never bothered looking it up.

Protocol WAS:
Play 4s like it was a FFA, if your ally is getting killed, that's his problem, focus on expanding and killing your enemies.  I think at first it was rt 4s strat, where you assumed your allies where noobs, and so you let them die and focus on building your FFA army and killing the others instead

The theory for at, was that ffa player are good at survival, and should be able to resist the teaming long enough to allow his teammate to kill the other's main.  And if the enemy tp to defend one of the 3 main being attack, well they still loses 2.  And if they all tp to there respective main, you can either run, or pwned them, since chances are they have a specialized army that required their teammate to be good

Protocol IS:
Mass tower, harrass, feed the undead to mass wyrm
