There are a lot of updates to WC3 that are not mentioned in these patch notes. Story is currently breaking. Here is what i've read so far:

-8mb File Limit for Hosting b.net maps has been removed
-New WE button for toggling sounds in the editor
-New WE button for validating triggers
-Bunch of exploits fixed (like the pre-load & memory hack)

Also appears to be an issue with Dowloading the patch from Northrend. Switch over to USEast or USWest to get it.

What can you do with 128 mb limit now? I am not an expert of the world editor. Does it mean you can make much bigger maps/campaigns?

Yeah that may create complete new dimensions in custom maps.

Well the 8mb restriction was just for hosting maps on b.net. You could create maps that were much larger than that, you just couldn't host them.

Essentially it prevented map makers from really taking maps to the next level. You could do a lot in the editor at up to 8mb, but with a restriction at 128mb maps can be on another level completely. Had this been done years ago we would have really seen some AWESOME multiplayer campaigns, fully custom races (with custom models), DoTA without re-used assets from wc3 and way more polish. The sky really is the limit.

Thanks for the explanation Worpex, as you say, if this came +5 years ago or earlier it could have changed something. I doubt it is of any matter now. Sad that they limited wc3 in so many ways. Wc3 could be still a little side game if they would have polished the client.

@FML|WorpeX I remember in 2015 we used to have mortal kombat gif emotions, two to be precise, sub zero and reptile. What happened to them?, Did Raven Renaud kill them ? 0_o
