First S18 details revealed!!

This post is a "sneak peak" at the upcoming Season 18. The admin team is looking forward to the forthcoming season. We have A LOT of BIG changes in the works for this one!! We're so excited, that we can't wait to spill the beans!!

First and foremost: Season 18 will be officially opening on January 1st, 2014.

But wait! I need my FFA fix between now and then!!! What shall I do?

Don't worry, we have you covered. Not only will the PlayFFA bot continue to run, but FML will also be hosting a series of S18 Pre-Qualification tournaments. The winner of these events will automatically qualify for season 18 and does not need to deal with all that annoying Qualifier garbage that we're going to force everyone to go through this season... Oh wait, I didn't tell you about the season yet, did I?

Season 18 Format

Remember back to the early days of FML... When we forced everyone to Qualify and only accepted the best players into the league. That is the basis for this season. Only the top players will advance into the league of 16 players for a 4 match round-robin event.

New FML site

WorpeX finally got off his lazy ass and built a new site which doesn't look like its from 1989!! It's impressive. No one knew that he was capable of doing such a thing, but it has been done. So far, everyone in the closed beta is loving it. As it gets further in development, more people will be added to the beta until its completely unleashed upon the world!!

I'm pretty sure one of the other old throwback rules in teh days of qualifiers was that all former champions auto qualify.   Maga, Renaud, you guys remember that rule right?

Well since im like 0-1000 in FML qualifiers I will just apply now to be the official shoutcaster of S18 matches lul.

that was worse because that was a league match, not even a qualifier.

That was actually one of the reason why I pushed to have the format we used this season, I can't freaking win a qualifier T_T
