Your time is now!
Q20
:Bulgaria: :undead: XoZ_Magadansky
:USA: :undead: Red7z7
:Sweden: :ra: bRain.Man
:France: :human: Ponty
I'd like to see Brain.Man play well but that is uncertain. Red is playing better and Ponty can hold his own. Maga will pull through with a strong performance.
Q21
:Germany: :orc: Ostone
:USA: :ne: Nooblex
:Germany: :human: Letshavesomefun
:Finland: :ne: j33.
Nice game. Rooting for Nooblex to put together a strong game after a dismal first round.
Q22
:Canada: :hu: htrt
:USA: :orc: Vyvanne
:Russia: :undead: qwest
:USA: :ra: AlienWareOwnZ
Game of the round with 4 capable contenders. Htrt will play with a cool head and prevail with all players playing well in a long one.
Q23
:Switzerland: :human: noexxx
:Ukraine: :undead: screpi
:USA: :undead: PLZLEAVEDUCK
:Australia: :human: SweeT
Sweet wins as the underdog, putting together a more complete game in this round.
Q24
:Croatia: :undead: KenoStrikesBack

A set up generous to the friendly Canadian.

LW buddy!!

:Sweden: :orc: Hudkraem
:Spain: :undead: Prometeus
:World: :ra2: Sub
Until the players are reminded enough how strong Orc can be in the hands of a good player.

Round 2 Qualifiers:
Q14
:Denmark: :human: zTsoso
:United_Kingdom: :ud: MakingAComeBack
:France: :orc: bRy4nisback
:Germany: :orc: Pinballmap
Seems like the obvious choice here. Don't actually know who the ud is?
Q15
:Hungaria: :undead: Tyrant66
:Kazakhstan: :undead: DV-
:USA: :ne: Mog[skynet]
:Australia: :orc: Elessar
I'm probably just being an arrogant prick, but I think this is 2nd best match of the round.
Q16
:Serbia: :ne: LifeForRent
:Ukraine: :orc: Nline
:Sweden: :undead: Junkerzam
:USA: :ud: WorpeX
He caught a lucky break in round 1 with a disconnect of someone tanking his base, but overall his play was solid and he could secure his spot with a win here.
Q17
:Russia: :orc: AJIKAIII
:Germany: :ne: CallMeImba
:USA: :undead: Audigy
:USA: :ra: Seksi
Who knows what Audigy will do...but Seksi is smart and will find a way to win
Q18
:Russia: :undead: Lord-Vova
:Russia: :undead: Spielman
:Germany: :ne: FAiL.Life
:France: :human: Valefort
Could be anyone's game, but I think vale or life will win--vova won't get another free win
Q19
:United_Kingdom: :ne: WarchiefRich
:USA: :undead: SteppinRazor
:Canada: :human: Mr.Sparkle
:Russia: :undead: Kpect
He is rambo mode, but with Rich also in the game...that might work!
Q20
:Bulgaria: :undead: XoZ_Magadansky
:USA: :undead: Red7z7
:Sweden: :ra: bRain.Man
:France: :human: Ponty
Maga is still one of the very best players, even after taking a lot of time off. And with BrainMan's comp issues....seems like Maga's game.
Q21
:Germany: :orc: Ostone
:USA: :ne: Nooblex
:Germany: :human: Letshavesomefun
:Finland: :ne: j33.
He tomed me and I raged at him, so now I am picking him! Honestly though, this is MOTW for me.
Q22
:Canada: :hu: htrt
:USA: :orc: Vyvanne
:Russia: :undead: qwest
:USA: :ra: AlienWareOwnZ
Don't think these players will fall for qwest manip.
Q23
:Switzerland: :human: noexxx
:Ukraine: :undead: screpi
:USA: :undead: PLZLEAVEDUCK
:Australia: :human: SweeT
noexxx really is an enigma to me, some games he looks godly, and some games he looks....super drunk. Which noexxx will we see!
Q24
:Croatia: :undead: KenoStrikesBack
:Denmark: :undead: Tleilaxu
:Canada: :ne: FML_Renaud
:USA: :undead: fow
GO KENO!
Q25
:Brazil: :human: Malboy
:USA: :ne: i-never-smile
:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Germany: :human: Lightweight
He used a tinker last round so I must pick him. Also he looked promising from what I've seem...but last round got screwed by some really dumb play from others (sorry red)
Q26
:USA: :ne: Dovekie
:USA: :ra: Eshan
:USA: :human: Wrecktify
:Peru: :undead: NoMercy2
No idea where dovekie is or if he is still playing wc3? Either way Wreck is really goood.
Q27
:Russia: :orc: Ludix
:Sweden: :orc: Hudkraem
:Spain: :undead: Prometeus
:World: :ra2: Sub
Here is to wishful thinking that the sub denies some major points :icon_biggrin:

Round 2 Qualifiers:
Q14
:Denmark: :human: zTsoso
:United_Kingdom: :ud: MakingAComeBack
:France: :orc: bRy4nisback
:Germany: :orc: Pinballmap
I think he's top 3 in the league right now.
Q15
:Hungaria: :undead: Tyrant66
:Kazakhstan: :undead: DV-
:USA: :ne: Mog[skynet]
:Australia: :orc: Elessar
Mog knows how to win games even when he's an obvious threat
Q16
:Serbia: :ne: LifeForRent
:Ukraine: :orc: Nline
:Sweden: :undead: Junkerzam
:USA: :ud: WorpeX
Oldschool style
Q17
:Russia: :orc: AJIKAIII
:Germany: :ne: CallMeImba
:USA: :undead: Audigy
:USA: :ra: Seksi
Others will be simply outclassed
Q18
:Russia: :undead: Lord-Vova
:Russia: :undead: Spielman
:Germany: :ne: FAiL.Life
:France: :human: Valefort
He seems like a decent player from what little I've seen.
Q19
:United_Kingdom: :ne: WarchiefRich
:USA: :undead: SteppinRazor
:Canada: :human: Mr.Sparkle
:Russia: :undead: Kpect
Position will be a HUGE factor here
Q20
:Bulgaria: :undead: XoZ_Magadansky
:USA: :undead: Red7z7
:Sweden: :ra: bRain.Man
:France: :human: Ponty
We will see the Maga of years past here, tome the closest opponent and 1v2 the others.
Q21
:Germany: :orc: Ostone
:USA: :ne: Nooblex
:Germany: :human: Letshavesomefun
:Finland: :ne: j33.
For some dumb reason he still seems slightly "overlooked"
Q22
:Canada: :hu: htrt
:USA: :orc: Vyvanne
:Russia: :undead: qwest
:USA: :ra: AlienWareOwnZ
Match of the round IMO, but HTRT in top form still outclasses even these strong opponents.
Q23
:Switzerland: :human: noexxx
:Ukraine: :undead: screpi
:USA: :undead: PLZLEAVEDUCK
:Australia: :human: SweeT
Seems like NoeXX and Duck are the favorites, and HU is imba
Q24
:Croatia: :undead: KenoStrikesBack
:Denmark: :undead: Tleilaxu
:Canada: :ne: FML_Renaud
:USA: :undead: fow
Keno and fow are decent but not on the level of Renaud. Tleixau is good but manips too much and Renaud is quite possibly the most manip-immune player ever.
Q25
:Brazil: :human: Malboy
:USA: :ne: i-never-smile
:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Germany: :human: Lightweight
This will be a walkover if he's in any shape
Q26
:USA: :ne: Dovekie
:USA: :ra: Eshan
:USA: :human: Wrecktify
:Peru: :undead: NoMercy2
Can't imagine a season of FML without wreck. Eshan + NoMercy has the makings of an 11 hour game.
Q27
:Russia: :orc: Ludix
:Sweden: :orc: Hudkraem
:Spain: :undead: Prometeus
:World: :ra2: Sub
Really hope the sub isnt just some random bot noob or this game will be out of hand. Prometeus is impressive but not ready to take down a giant like Ludix

Round 2 Qualifiers:
Q14
:Denmark: :human: zTsoso
:United_Kingdom: :ud: MakingAComeBack
:France: :orc: bRy4nisback
:Germany: :orc: Pinballmap
If people didn't notice soso is a big threat now they never will ! Because of that I expect some teaming and will go with Bryan who tends to hoard early on without being noticed much.
Q15
:Hungaria: :undead: Tyrant66
:Kazakhstan: :undead: DV-
:USA: :ne: Mog[skynet]
:Australia: :orc: Elessar
Nice match, I feel this could be anyone's game though Monsoon is not large enough to get away with hidden expos and long hoarding periods. I'll go with DV if Monsoon is picked, Mog on the secret map.
Q16
:Serbia: :ne: LifeForRent
:Ukraine: :orc: Nline
:Sweden: :undead: Junkerzam
:USA: :ud: WorpeX
Although nerve-racking Junkerzam's style is very effective and he takes good decisions, favorite in my eyes.
Q17
:Russia: :orc: AJIKAIII
:Germany: :ne: CallMeImba
:USA: :undead: Audigy
:USA: :ra: Seksi
I see Seksi winning this one with better gold management, this should be a good game.
Q18
:Russia: :undead: Lord-Vova
:Russia: :undead: Spielman
:Germany: :ne: FAiL.Life
:France: :human: Valefort
Two undeads, my cup of tea ... or not ! Despite the friendly predictions for me I think Vova will take this and show that he is not just lucky.
Q19
:United_Kingdom: :ne: WarchiefRich
:USA: :undead: SteppinRazor
:Canada: :human: Mr.Sparkle
:Russia: :undead: Kpect
Fireworks ! I'd like Kpect to win this one after the funky style he showed in round 1, either way this will be very action packed. Maybe WCR will focus on people one by one this time !
Q20
:Bulgaria: :undead: XoZ_Magadansky
:USA: :undead: Red7z7
:Sweden: :ra: bRain.Man
:France: :human: Ponty
I see an angry Maga, you shall witness the unholy frenzied wyrms one shotting heroes, and you shall applaud.
Q21
:Germany: :orc: Ostone
:USA: :ne: Nooblex
:Germany: :human: Letshavesomefun
:Finland: :ne: j33.
Strongest cast this week, and very balanced ! This can be anyone's game so I'll just cheer for letshave :)
Q22
:Canada: :hu: htrt
:USA: :orc: Vyvanne
:Russia: :undead: qwest
:USA: :ra: AlienWareOwnZ
Everyone here is good or super good, htrt seems to be one good step ahead though, I expect a solid game and hope for little chat :icon_razz:
Q23
:Switzerland: :human: noexxx
:Ukraine: :undead: screpi
:USA: :undead: PLZLEAVEDUCK
:Australia: :human: SweeT
Going with noexx here.
Q24
:Croatia: :undead: KenoStrikesBack
:Denmark: :undead: Tleilaxu
:Canada: :ne: FML_Renaud
:USA: :undead: fow
The Bene Tleilax shall fall to the powindah filth, Renaud for the win.
Q25
:Brazil: :human: Malboy
:USA: :ne: i-never-smile
:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Germany: :human: Lightweight
I see Malboy freezing the game in his neighborhood to empty the gold mines if he can while Lightweight comes ahead of the 3 way then whittle down malboy's hoard little by little.
Q26
:USA: :ne: Dovekie
:USA: :ra: Eshan
:USA: :human: Wrecktify
:Peru: :undead: NoMercy2
USA US- wait, there is an intruder ? This looks like a very fine game if Dovekie wakes up early enough to prepare and play again.
Q27
:Russia: :orc: Ludix
:Sweden: :orc: Hudkraem
:Spain: :undead: Prometeus
:World: :ra2: Sub
I see a very quick and dicey game, I'll bet on Prometeus.
-
Q14
:Denmark: :human: zTsoso
:United_Kingdom: :ud: MakingAComeBack
:France: :orc: bRy4nisback
:Germany: :orc: Pinballmap
Soso is going to win this one because he has the best balance between aggressive play and goldmanagement
Q15
:Hungaria: :undead: Tyrant66
:Kazakhstan: :undead: DV-
:USA: :ne: Mog[skynet]
:Australia: :orc: Elessar
I expect alot of this matchup. All players seem to be on nearly the same niveau. This map could be pretty much everyones game but I go with mog because he is a player who always can come up with surprising stuff (just remember his merc-rush against Maga 18th or 19th season!)
Q16
:Serbia: :ne: LifeForRent
:Ukraine: :orc: Nline
:Sweden: :undead: Junkerzam
:USA: :ud: WorpeX
I cheer for Junker because he showed an amazing performance in first round.
Q17
:Russia: :orc: AJIKAIII
:Germany: :ne: CallMeImba
:USA: :undead: Audigy
:USA: :ra: Seksi
A small comparison to Warchief: Seksi is close to Rich's skill. Needless to say that Seksi's ffa-sense is way better (not hard to surpass Rich's ffa-sense :icon_biggrin:). To be honest if there was a player i could avoid it would have been either Seksi or htrt. Hoping for a good game. gg gl hf all
Q18
:Russia: :undead: Lord-Vova
:Russia: :undead: Spielman
:Germany: :ne: FAiL.Life
:France: :human: Valefort
Vova got a freewin in 1st round but is not a very stable player. Fail needs to show a way better and more intelligent performance this round. I go with him because i believe in his undoubtedly high skills.
Q19
:United_Kingdom: :ne: WarchiefRich
:USA: :undead: SteppinRazor
:Canada: :human: Mr.Sparkle
:Russia: :undead: Kpect
This is going to be an entertaining game because Warchief will try again to mix up Rambo and Terminator while Razor and Kpect are strong enough to fight back. If Razor and Kpect are trying to fight early it is most likely that Sparkle will be tomed by Rich.
Q20
:Bulgaria: :undead: XoZ_Magadansky
:USA: :undead: Red7z7
:Sweden: :ra: bRain.Man
:France: :human: Ponty
GO MAGA GO MAGA!!!
Q21
:Germany: :orc: Ostone
:USA: :ne: Nooblex
:Germany: :human: Letshavesomefun
:Finland: :ne: j33.
Ambitious game with 4 players being on the same level. Hoping for a nonorc-win
Q22
:Canada: :hu: htrt
:USA: :orc: Vyvanne
:Russia: :undead: qwest
:USA: :ra: AlienWareOwnZ
htrt needs to score this time although that game will be very tough. I hope there wont be a teaming marathon against him! Except Vyvanne everyone could win this game.
Q23
:Switzerland: :human: noexxx
:Ukraine: :undead: screpi
:USA: :undead: PLZLEAVEDUCK
:Australia: :human: SweeT
One of the easier games. Noexxx will beat each of them one by one.
Q24
:Croatia: :undead: KenoStrikesBack
:Denmark: :undead: Tleilaxu
:Canada: :ne: FML_Renaud
:USA: :undead: fow
Another easy game for Renaud.
Q25
:Brazil: :human: Malboy
:USA: :ne: i-never-smile
:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Germany: :human: Lightweight
I hope that lw will not disappoint us here!
Q26
:USA: :ne: Dovekie
:USA: :ra: Eshan
:USA: :human: Wrecktify
:Peru: :undead: NoMercy2
This game is between Eshan and Wreck. Wreck is favored and will win this game!
Q27
:Russia: :orc: Ludix
:Sweden: :orc: Hudkraem
:Spain: :undead: Prometeus
:World: :ra2: Sub
I dont see anyone besides Ludix winning this game. Maybe if the Sub is Maga, Seksi, htrt or Renaud.

Q14
:Denmark: :human: zTsoso
:United_Kingdom: :ud: MakingAComeBack
:France: :orc: bRy4nisback
:Germany: :orc: Pinballmap
Soso should win this, but his reputation may lead to an early teaming against him.
Q15
:Hungaria: :undead: Tyrant66

:USA: :ne: Mog[skynet]
:Australia: :orc: Elessar
Hard game for you buddy, but I believe in you :D

Junker, this is you change to show them what you got!
Q17
:Russia: :orc: AJIKAIII
:Germany: :ne: CallMeImba
:USA: :undead: Audigy

Seksi wins this, with a combination of brilliant skill and good manip
Q18
:Russia: :undead: Lord-Vova
:Russia: :undead: Spielman
:Germany: :ne: FAiL.Life
:France: :human: Valefort
Hard game for valefort, he needs to dodge uds till late game to start raping, but i doubt the uds will let human develop at all
Q19
:United_Kingdom: :ne: WarchiefRich
:USA: :undead: SteppinRazor
:Canada: :human: Mr.Sparkle
:Russia: :undead: Kpect
This should be an interesting game. I still see steppin as a winner, since he has the most ffa sense here
Q20
:Bulgaria: :undead: XoZ_Magadansky
:USA: :undead: Red7z7
:Sweden: :ra: bRain.Man
:France: :human: Ponty
Sorry Ponty, but i see Maga here, as a winner.
Q21
:Germany: :orc: Ostone
:USA: :ne: Nooblex
:Germany: :human: Letshavesomefun
:Finland: :ne: j33.
I have no idea, anyone could win. J33 maybe, but anything could happen. good luck phil
Q22
:Canada: :hu: htrt
:USA: :orc: Vyvanne
:Russia: :undead: qwest
:USA: :ra: AlienWareOwnZ
A combination of good music and not being hungover, Vyvanne wins this
Q23
:Switzerland: :human: noexxx
:Ukraine: :undead: screpi
:USA: :undead: PLZLEAVEDUCK
:Australia: :human: SweeT
Hard to imagine sweet win this, coz he is gonna play it very very late.
Q24
:Croatia: :undead: KenoStrikesBack
:Denmark: :undead: Tleilaxu
:Canada: :ne: FML_Renaud
:USA: :undead: fow
I hope we surprise the audience and we dont let renaud win.
Q25
:Brazil: :human: Malboy
:USA: :ne: i-never-smile
:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Germany: :human: Lightweight
Not gonna vote for LW since I havent played my 1st round coz he couldnt wait.
Go orc.
Q26
:USA: :ne: Dovekie
:USA: :ra: Eshan
:USA: :human: Wrecktify
:Peru: :undead: NoMercy2
Its him or Wreck, i doubt no mercy is gonna endure all this pressure.
Q27
:Russia: :orc: Ludix
:Sweden: :orc: Hudkraem
:Spain: :undead: Prometeus
:World: :ra2: Sub
No matter the sub, ludix is gonna shine here.
-
Q14
:Denmark: :human: zTsoso
:United_Kingdom: :ud: MakingAComeBack
:France: :orc: bRy4nisback
:Germany: :orc: Pinballmap
I suspect bryan won't schedule, so there will be some sub to confuse things. I don't know who MakingAComeBack is, but unless he is Demuslim I don't think he will win this. Voting the safe bet.
Q15
:Hungaria: :undead: Tyrant66
:Kazakhstan: :undead: DV-
:USA: :ne: Mog[skynet]
:Australia: :orc: Elessar
Tyrant always plays consistently pretty well. DV- is pretty strong but for some reason doesn't win the important games. Mog can do well depending on spawns imo. Elessar haven't seen enough of to really know.
Q16
:Serbia: :ne: LifeForRent
:Ukraine: :orc: Nline
:Sweden: :undead: Junkerzam
:USA: :ud: WorpeX
Junkerzam played very well last round, but he seemed to start off mediocre and gain momentum through the match. Worpex is coming out of not playing for a while so I think he'll be too rusty to win it. LFR didn't do so hot last round so we'll see if he can bounce back. Nline for orc victory here.
Q17
:Russia: :orc: AJIKAIII
:Germany: :ne: CallMeImba
:USA: :undead: Audigy
:USA: :ra: Seksi
Ajika tends to start out pretty weak in his matches and seems like he has trouble focusing on the game to me, although he definitely can win. CallMeImba is solid from round 1. Audigy I hope shows more adaptable play this round. Seksi should take it with the current sharpness he has.
Q18
:Russia: :undead: Lord-Vova
:Russia: :undead: Spielman
:Germany: :ne: FAiL.Life
:France: :human: Valefort
Spielman is a bit of a gamble here I think, but he seems solid enough to win a game from what I've seen. Of course all other player's are solid in this game as well, with FAil hopefully shaking off some of that rust we saw in r1.
Q19
:United_Kingdom: :ne: WarchiefRich
:USA: :undead: SteppinRazor
:Canada: :human: Mr.Sparkle
:Russia: :undead: Kpect
How can someone so good at solo have such crazy wild ideas in FFA? I just can't believe it and I continue to expect him to shape up and dominate.
Q20
:Bulgaria: :undead: XoZ_Magadansky
:USA: :undead: Red7z7
:Sweden: :ra: bRain.Man
:France: :human: Ponty
gl
Q21
:Germany: :orc: Ostone
:USA: :ne: Nooblex
:Germany: :human: Letshavesomefun
:Finland: :ne: j33.
What a match! I think anyone here is a good bet. I'll go with nooblex because he's supposed to win his games.
Q22
:Canada: :hu: htrt
:USA: :orc: Vyvanne
:Russia: :undead: qwest
:USA: :ra: AlienWareOwnZ
Htrt because he won't have to solo duck this time. I can't imagine him losing a 1v1, and this time around he should get more xp for it. Everyone here is good though so who knows.
Q23
:Switzerland: :human: noexxx
:Ukraine: :undead: screpi
:USA: :undead: PLZLEAVEDUCK

Duck's a pretty smart player. I think he can solo any of these guys if he shows up to the match, and can finish from there.
Q24
:Croatia: :undead: KenoStrikesBack
:Denmark: :undead: Tleilaxu
:Canada: :ne: FML_Renaud

Renaud's the best player in this match and he makes great choices, so unless Tlei has some tricks up his sleeve...
Q25
:Brazil: :human: Malboy
:USA: :ne: i-never-smile
:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Germany: :human: Lightweight
Best player here is lightweight if he can shake off some more rust. All player's here can't be overlooked though -- unconventional ins, solid orc, clever Malboy.
Q26
:USA: :ne: Dovekie
:USA: :ra: Eshan
:USA: :human: Wrecktify
:Peru: :undead: NoMercy2
Any of these players can win a game. Depends which race Eshan ends up as and what map. I think someone will fall early though. It will be interesting to see as some of these players are in top shape, and some are long time veterans. Wreck is both.
Q27
:Russia: :orc: Ludix
:Sweden: :orc: Hudkraem
:Spain: :undead: Prometeus

I want to root for Prometeus but I suspect the sub will throw a wrench in the other player's gears.

:Denmark: :human: zTsoso
:United_Kingdom: :ud: MakingAComeBack
:France: :orc: bRy4nisback
:Germany: :orc: Pinballmap
If Bryan plays I believe he is going to take it because the other players may underestimate him. He has not posted yet so might be a sub game, which is always a random factor to deal with. I don't know MakingAComeBack so don't know what to expect ! He is the real joker in this group.
Q15
:Hungaria: :undead: Tyrant66
:Kazakhstan: :undead: DV-
:USA: :ne: Mog[skynet]
:Australia: :orc: Elessar
Tyrant is the more consistent player. DV- has not gotten the results we expected of him. Mog is always dangerous if he is left alone so I wouldn't count him out by any means. Don't know Elessar!
Q16
:Serbia: :ne: LifeForRent
:Ukraine: :orc: Nline
:Sweden: :undead: Junkerzam

Nline will get teamed in the 3-way and junkers is going to clean the rest up.
Q17
:Russia: :orc: AJIKAIII
:Germany: :ne: CallMeImba
:USA: :undead: Audigy

Seksi is just on another level and will therefore win this.
Q18
:Russia: :undead: Lord-Vova
:Russia: :undead: Spielman
:Germany: :ne: FAiL.Life
:France: :human: Valefort
Valefort is not safest bet though I still think he will pull through. He is faced with 2 UD's and i know this is a match up he dislikes. However, he got the strongest micro here except maybe for life mb (i don't know how life plays), and he has practiced a couple of in house games lately. Perhaps it is a foolish hope, but i think valefort could win this if he SCOUTS before he attacks and kills someone, AND if he doesn't burn all his gold in the proces :D.
Q19
:United_Kingdom: :ne: WarchiefRich
:USA: :undead: SteppinRazor
:Canada: :human: Mr.Sparkle

In my opinion this should be an easy game for razor if rich doesn't solo him :D.. Anyway hope wcr will not attack everyone like last time, it'll greatly increase his chances.
Q20
:Bulgaria: :undead: XoZ_Magadansky
:USA: :undead: Red7z7
:Sweden: :ra: bRain.Man
:France: :human: Ponty
With a disappointing result in the first round Maga will go for 25 points this time. However, this game will most certainly not be easy for him because brain man is a force to be reckoned with. I suspect that this game will turn into a fast 3-way or 1on1 where brain man and maga will fight till the bitter end.
Q21
:Germany: :orc: Ostone
:USA: :ne: Nooblex
:Germany: :human: Letshavesomefun
:Finland: :ne: j33.
The most stacked cast of this round. This could be anyones game, however, I got a feeling that tells me j33 is going to pull through. He has proved to be very solid in every game as of late, and that is not something I can say for the rest of the players. However, letshave might surprise here. He has improved a lot and might pull through if his PC lets him stay in the game!
Q22
:Canada: :hu: htrt
:USA: :orc: Vyvanne
:Russia: :undead: qwest
:USA: :ra: AlienWareOwnZ
Htrt will be teamed out because the players fear him. Qwest and alien will battle for the victory in the end. If Alien stays on top of Qwest in regards to mining and upkeep, then I suspect he will win the game.
Q23
:Switzerland: :human: noexxx
:Ukraine: :undead: screpi
:USA: :undead: PLZLEAVEDUCK

Noexxx is just the better player here. If the game plays out normally i don't see anyone stopping him.
Q24
:Croatia: :undead: KenoStrikesBack
:Denmark: :undead: Tleilaxu
:Canada: :ne: FML_Renaud
:USA: :undead: fow
Even though tleilaxu and possibly others will try to set up teaming against renaud as the game goes, I believe renaud will be the victor in the end. Renaud is a veteran that has played ffa so long that he will not fall into traps easily. He will stay diplomatic and patient and win the game in the end.
Q25
:Brazil: :human: Malboy
:USA: :ne: i-never-smile
:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Germany: :human: Lightweight
I suspect this will turn out to be a 3-way between malboy, fetta and lightweight. If it does I think it'll hurt Lightweight's chances because it'll be easier to set up teaming. If Lightweight manages to take out malboy or fetta first things will be different :-).
Q26
:USA: :ne: Dovekie
:USA: :ra: Eshan
:USA: :human: Wrecktify

Not sure about this because I do not know the skill level of Eshan. From what I've seen so far I think wreck and Eshan are both favorites to take this game.
Q27
:Russia: :orc: Ludix
:Sweden: :orc: Hudkraem
:Spain: :undead: Prometeus

If the players are smart they will team Ludix before he gets out of control. In the end I see prometeus as the victor. However, it is always difficult to predict such things when you do not know the sub player.

Is Dovekie still alive or have the Warlords of Draenor eaten his soul as happened before to Ebo who got lost in the world of Diablo 3 (first paragon 100 in north america). Wrecktify shows that he is still in shape and with his #2 place in the playffa ladder he has all chances to win this (although season 16 win is questionable :D). Maybe i should go with my South american talent scout NoMercy... maybe... Q_Q unfortunately between work, the fact that the admins let 400 players into teh league, and the fact that I dont know half the players makes it impossible to make quality predictiosn anymore :(

Yeah I started doing them a while back and realized half my prediction were "he's the only one I know so... I guess him?"
Need to wait for the main season :)
-
there is no main season o_O
-
there is after round 3
-
naw, its basically like a tournament. this is barely a season in the truest sense of the word.
realyl we are playing the 'season' now, with the crap after r3 being the playoffs leading into a finals.
-
yeah what wreck says is true, personally id prefer a 4 or 5 game season, 3 seems too few for ffa, where anyone can win a game or two due to random factors
-
This season, despite the terminology of "qualifiers" and "season" is just a variation of last season's elimination style. Except instead of 3 smaller eliminations, there is one big one halfway through.
I'm not saying I mind it, or it is bad, or anything like that. Just how I see it. Seems like regular season should be at least a week longer though... but then again if I don't qualify I wouldn't want it longer because I would want the next season to start sooner haha
-
There are many logistical factors that go into the consideration of the season format, on top of considering what players enjoy and what makes for the best competition. The admin team feels that we have chosen a format that reaches a good balance between the advantages and disadvantages of various formats, and most importantly one that addresses much of the feedback from recent seasons. We appreciate all feedback and ask that players have an open mind while the season is still in its early stages.
Cheers

3 is the qualifiers and the season is 4 games. I think. Thats what I thought it was.
-
its 3 and 3. which is why this season is not a season, but a retarded pseudo tournament.
also red - having been on the admin team for 2 seasons i know there is little logic that goes into these discussions. ill leave it at that, but lets call a spade.

also red - having been on the admin team for 2 seasons i know there is little logic that goes into these discussions. ill leave it at that, but lets call a spade.
That may have been the case during that time, but there are over 20 pages of discussion regarding this season in the admin section right now. A lot of discussion went into this format. I don't mind making our reasoning transparent:
- Player's complained about getting eliminated too early and they wanted to play more games. The 2-round qualifier system is even worse on this point than the elimination system from last season, since many players (including some unlucky good players) get only 2 games.
- Players asked for an extended qualifier.
- There needs to be some kind of filtration system, whether qualifier or elimination, because otherwise the bottom of the rankings at some point have 0 chance of proceeding and thus lose interest and never schedule their games.
- An extended qualifier helps to keep worse players from lucking into the season.
- The 2-round qualifier system requires a precise amount of players. You have X players auto-qualify, then you have N number of applicants divided by 4 who qualify from round 1, followed by (N - N/4)/4 for round 2. Choosing how many auto-qualify in a fair manner to make the numbers work is not easy. And all the numbers go to shit when some players drop out of the league.
- To continue on the point above, the 3 round qualy system makes the logistics a lot easier since you only select top X, there doesn't need to be a perfect balance.
- This system improves on the elimination system because after 3 rounds, the scores are essentially reset except with some points to award players who did better in the qualifier (1 per win).
- With the auto - qualify method, a lot of the most exciting matches are delayed over a month, and those players have to wait that long to play their first game. It's a small perk with this system that we avoid that.
- I would hardly call this season a tournament. It is the same length or longer than previous seasons, taking up a good portion of the year (definition of season). It certainly is less of a "tournament" than the last season.
-
The thing is - 3 rounds quali is the same as 1 round quali since u need to win 1 game. Well and show up for 2 other games.
I have no idea which format would be better but it seems 3 rounds system isnt great with 25-10-10-5 points system.
-
There is a key difference though in that eventually by round 3, players with 1 win will fight each other and can deny entry to league. It's hard to say how the numbers will work out right now.
-
The thing is - 3 rounds quali is the same as 1 round quali since u need to win 1 game. Well and show up for 2 other games.
There's going to be 40~ games total in the qualifiers, meaning up to 40 players will win 1 game
We are cutting to the top 20
You do the maths :P
-
Yeah, we'll see. We're only 2 games into round 2 and already one player has 50, two wins have been denied by subs, four players have 11 points from top-scores, there is a good distribution of TB points, and some players are going to be dropped from the league so there will be fewer matches. There definitely won't be 40 players with 1 win as multiple people will win multiple times.
