Re: FML Season 28 | Finals Say what you want about the strength of this final cast, it is a cast that represents what FFA is nowadays.

Final (Game 1)

:Germany: :orc: ena1337
:Russia: :ud: qwest
:Poland: :ne: Gradient
:Russia: :ra: SomethingWicked

Map: Neon City

Ena is trying hard to become friends with the other finalists, and his strategy worked in the couple games he won this season.   In reality, his mechanical skills (macro, army compositions) as well as his decision making and micro with large armies are weak.   Still, I think he will win this game as Neon City is a nice Orc map and his style may not be punished until after he wins a game.   I like Orc on this map with good items, not too much gold, and with the best micro player to face being an Undead.

Final (Game 2)

:Russia: :ud: qwest
:Poland: :ne: Gradient
:Russia: :ra: SomethingWicked
:Czech: :hu: Lil Tic

Map: Mur'Gul Oasis

Great map choice!  Mur'Gul has had some memorable FFA games.  I think it will be tough for Gradient or Lil Tic to win on this map.  SomethingWicked would be my 2nd choice here, but I like Qwest to win in this game using more aggression than normal and taking control of the middle mines and mana fountain.

Final (Game 3)

:Poland: :ne: Gradient
:Russia: :ra: SomethingWicked
:Czech: :hu: Lil Tic
:Germany: :orc: ena1337

Map: Sanctuary LV

Oh god, Sanctuary again!  At least Qwest isn't in this one.   Many gold mines and places to hide makes this a map that I predict Gradi to win.  There are almost Zero good items for the Blademaster here and ena may have a difficult time thinking FFA on this grand of scale.  If not Gradient, I think SomethingWicked will take this one.   SW showed he can win in the late stages of a game and his micro can be an advantage in this game.

Final (Game 4)

:Russia: :ra: SomethingWicked
:Czech: :hu: Lil Tic
:Germany: :orc: ena1337
:Russia: :ud: qwest

Map: Purity 2.0

This map looks really cool.   I see Ena staying 50 food and being super greedy and ending up losing to SomethingWicked or Qwest.  I think this will be the best game of the series since the map is smaller and there will be more action.   I will take Qwest here for his 2nd victory of the series.

Final (Game 5)

:Czech: :hu: Lil Tic
:Germany: :orc: ena1337
:Russia: :ud: qwest
:Poland: :ne: Gradient

Map: Hurricane Isle

With both Ena and Gradient looking for their 2nd win to not give up the crown to Qwest, Lil Tic will win this game as human on a ridiculous map.

Really though, Sanctuary and Hurricane Isle in the FML Finals 4 way??    :icon_rolleyes:

Qwest won't need to win but with two wins locked up already, he will have his incentives.  Elf can win on this map...  Orc can too...  But I forsee a Gradi suicide on Ena once he feels like the orc has gone too far.    Lil Tic will win as the Human should and ultimately Qwest will win the season.    A shoutout to SomethingWicked as I haven't really seen you play and may be underestimated you here.  Remember though, that may be a good thing :)

HOPEFULLY these games are not all super long and boring... but I won't hold my breath.  It will be interesting nonetheless to see how it all plays out.

FML Ladder Hero

We have a new competition coming up, to make the ladder more attractive again. It is a ladder within the ladder and will bring glory to those who dare to join it.

---
Current Standings can be found here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yImqNV07J3XMhBE1sQdOnfLfscxuLrEyMpqZ_wtrOgM/edit#gid=0
---

How to participate?

All players that are part of the FML Discord Channel (Join Here) are eligible to join the competition and will be granted access to a separate channel. Please pm qwest, HighTac or massmoretankz if you want to participate.

The entry fee of 10$ {No Euro Please} should be sent via PayPal to WorpeX@hotmail.com and same with donations to the prize pool to boost the competition. Players are allowed to enter the competition after it has started.

Players that participate, need to create a Battle.net (Northrend) account called “name_FMLhero” (e.g. HighTac_FMLhero), which is the only valid account for being an FML Ladder Hero. All ladder wins on this account will count for this competition. It is irrelevant if enemies are random ladder players or part of this event.

On November 18, the wc3melee FFA Ladder will reset, which is our starting signal. We will play on wc3melee until patch 1.30.2 gets pushed to the servers and the bots shut down on December 1. From there, we will move to the normal Battle.net Northrend ladder and merge the wins in both ladders per account.

Official end date of the competition is February 10, 2019 (20 CET). The prize pool will be paid out to the top 5 FMLhero participants (probably 60%/15%/12%/8%/5%, but not decided yet).

Scores

•   In general, one FFA win equals one point in FFA Ladder Hero and one FFA loss counts -0.25 points
•   All players that stream at least 40 hours of hero ladder FFA per month, get three bonus points per month to outweigh the general disadvantage
•   All players that manage to get 10:0 wins right after the season started will get 3 bonus points

Additional rules (complementing the wc3melee FFA ladder rules)

•   Players are not allowed to have any FMLhero aliases in their Battle.net friend list (admins may do crosschecks with random players)
•   Players are not allowed to reveal enemy FMLhero players ingame
•   Any abuse of loss bugs, joining a game with multiple computers, stream sniping, account sharing or joint level boosting may lead to immediate disqualification.
•   Players are only allowed to participate with one account

Current Prize Pool

515$

:Peru: :hu: ZsSuperCumulo
:Estonia: :orc: betoon
:Russia: :ud: qwest
:Germany: :ra: Joggel

Super Lama got rekt on Market Square failing to manip qwest better and thus lost from a revealed noe. On the other side we have Qwest who wanted to win Ressurection Cup but DV outschedule him there :D
Very good game with one joker in it. Betoon is easy to manip as kid when it sees a lollipop. Last game he showed really bad skills so I think whoever tomes him will win the game prolly. I will bet this time on Culo, since qwest made some bad decisions last game.

:Germany: :orc: Life

Mog will stream snipe again like he did in my game with Noex last season. So its obvious winner.

:Argentina: :ne: supremo
:Russia: :orc: JIexa_b
:Poland: :ne: Gradient
:USA: :ra: Eshan

Level of autism cant be counted here. Supremo , Gradient and Lexa is pure to cancer to play with. I love this draft since Eshan cant manipulate any of those players since they just don't speak english. I hope they team Eshan because of too much chat or something. Also I hope Supremo to make random base kills like he loves to do. Would be cool game. King rat and his handicaped kids.

:Russia: :ra: Jaod

Map Pool: Thunder Lake, Phantom Grove non-LV, Library

Pure russians here (DV USSR) . DV can be sure that he will get teamed since Jaod and Airen cant win him alone I think he will be teamed to death and we will have 3-way with mrtome. I hope Airen can pull this off if he gets good position on the map.

M19

:Finland: :ra: aarnikratti
:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Russia: :orc: b100death
:Germany: :ra: WeAkUD

Map Pool: La Rosa Nautica, Battleground LV, Freezing Field

Top level micro, macro and top 1 in Finland with unique victory last round we have the unstopable huskey who will dominate again this game. Also I hope ToX will show just to make arni quit FFA forever ( I hope ) B100 is really nice guy and can make anyone rage quit with his tunnel vision. This is the best game from round 3 and we will see that I am not the toxiest guy in this league. Expecting penalty points here :D

M20

:Sweden: :ra: junkerzam
:USA: :ud: Vyvanne
:Switzerland: :ra: noexxx
:Germany: :ra: Slythe

Map Pool: Sanctuary non-LV, Fate and Glory, Boomtown

Top level game here except Slythe. Noe was on the edge last time since he was revealed for a long time but still managed to win the game. Vyv and Junker have top macro so I guess depending who is out first the game will be decided, but I will bet my money on Junker this time.

M21

:Finland: :ra: Rain
:Other: :ra: Peanut
:Germany: :ra: trunkz
:Czech_Republic: :hu: Lil Tic

Trunkz get 3v1 last game by top level players like Noe,Qwest and SuperLama. He lost again by buildings. I think he loses 75% of his games because he lacks the buildings not because he lost the game. This shows how strong he is. Even if he is 3v1 here he will easy win the game since Rain and Peanut will feed him and he will kill Lil Tic's island for the GG.

We have two big tomes in face of Jaod and the puppet betoon. Peanut plays well but with those two ingame I think he wont feel good.I think the sub will win since the sub will have higher IQ than those 3 combined for sure.

Well two autists here and two good players. Gradient has two wins and this shows that level in fml is really low this season. Lil Tic on other side failed so hard his games and its even behind Gradient in the standings. Vyv played solid and I will go with him this game again. Of course the finnish tunnel vision guy can decide anygame by suiciding to a random player. I guess arni is the EU version of supremo.

M26

:Germany: :ra: WeAkUD
:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Russia: :orc: Airenikus
:Other: :ra: ehrmantraut

This will be really toxic game. We all know that Tox and fetta are known rivals from the last game which was epic. Airen beat DV also their last game so probably it will be Tox vs Fetta and DV vs Airen in the 1v1's. I will go with Airen again since DV or Tox will be teamed for name and thus won't win this game.

Map Pool: Market Square, Fountain of Manip, Springwater Harbour

M27

:Russia: :ra: mrSweets
:Germany: :ra: Joggel
:USA: :ne: FML|Mog
:Germany: :orc: Life

After his pathetic play last round Mog comes again in a nice cast with many orcs inside. He will be probably killed around 15th minute mark of the game and then cry like always to be left alone so he can rebuild and hoard like some other retarded elf in this league. So Mog is American version of Gradient confirmed.
I will go with him since the others will probably suicide each other. Joggel would be teamed like I was teamed in my game last round. So gg Mog wp

:Switzerland: :ra: noexxx
:Russia: :ud: qwest

Best russian player vs best Deutch player vs best Swiss player would be a cool battle. Qwest don't stand a chance in this game since he will be either rushed by trunkz or tanked out to death by noexxx. Slythe will fill the 3-way and will try to sneak out someone (probably trunkz). The big neck will have to defend again 2v1 at least whole game and will lose by buildings like always. I will go with my man Noexx which has higher IQ than all combined in this game.

TBR 4 | FAQ

Draft live (Nov 25 at 16 EST | 22 CET) on twitch.tv/ffamastersleague

Sign up Deadline: Nov 23 at 23:00 CET
Draft Date: Nov 25
Start Date: Nov 27
End Date: Dec 29

Here are some answers to frequently asked TBR questions

Who will be the captains?

The captains of Team Battle Royale 4 are going to be :Finland: Aarnikratti, :USA: Eshan, :Russia: DV, :Austria: TomToast and :Peru: SuperCumulo. We couldn't accept everyone as captain and based our decision on recent reliability and if there were any other events, positive or negative. Thanks to everyone for volunteering.

Will every player get drafted?

Yes. Also, we will immediately assign players to their respective Discord team channels during the draft. TBR is a great opportunity for people getting to know each other and collaborate, even if they weren't close before.

In what order will the captains draft?

During our FML meet up in Prague on Nov 23, attendants will find a way to randomly define the order. It'll be a "snake draft" as usual (pick 1-2-3-4-5-5-4-3-2-1-...).

Will matches in TBR4 be played anonymously?

Yes. As in previous TBRs, admins will provide smurf lists to all teams. Players will need to create these smurfs and join their matches. We have to live with the ping being visible in the match lobby. If Blizzard rolls out Reforged before Dec 29 and shuts down current Battle.net immediately, admins will decide how to proceed in that regard.

How many matches will there be?

Throughout TBR, there will be around 40 matches in total (each match is skipped by one of the five teams). Teams will get a bonus for each of their players that played at least four matches.

How do we accommodate different time zones / continents?

This is a tricky one, especially since we seem to have fewer players from the American continents this time. We do want to maintain a repetitive schedule, so people memorize the play times, but also accommodate different time zones. As last TBR, one weekday match per week will be played at 17:59 EST | 23:59 CET for that reason.

How about players that are FFA beginners still?

TBR is great to experience FFA and team spirit without having 10k hours of experience in this mode. We appeal to teams to encourage and assist all their players, no matter how well they play. In general, we only accept players to TBR that have played some inhouse matches before or are known to admins.

What if players abandon their teams or players sign up after the draft?

We had some unfortunate debates in previous seasons, where players signed up after the draft and teams argued over who may get that player. To avoid this, there will be a "72 hour rule" in TBR4. If a player leaves a team or signs up subsequently, we wait 72 hours (for potential other sign ups or exits) and randomly assign the new joiners to teams with available slots.

How will the score structure look like?

Same as last season, victories in FFAs with one player per team will get rewarded with 10 points and if there are two players per team (team FFA and preteam mode) 15 points.

How do we deal with no show?

It's up to the captains to ensure that players show up on time. If admins are in a good mood, they may send reminders in the respective team channel, if not, they may immediately sub that team 10 minutes after the scheduled time. It is more important than ever to start on time, as we publish streaming times on warcraft3.info and elsewhere.

Let's have a great time and make this the amazing event it has been for so many of us before  :icon_biggrin:

TBR 4 | Iron Necks win!

Congratulations to Iron Necks, led by TomToast, for winning Team Battle Royale 4 and carving their name into the Hall of Fame of FFA Masters. After team Cumulo Brothers managed to break away from the peloton early on, Iron Necks caught up by winning eight of their ten matches right before Christmas. Thank you for participating and especially to our five voluntary captains for putting in the effort.

We hope that most of you enjoyed this TBR, no matter if your team was successful or not. It was the entry point for several new joiners and our community felt fully alive again after a very silent summer. As always, there are things that we can and will improve. It’s frustrating if certain controversies overshadow the event, which is supposed to be a celebration of FFA, the mode we all fell in love with. No admin ever pretended to be perfect, but if you honestly think our decision-making was biased and we ruined the event, it’s saddening. There are rarely easy decisions and we do our best listening to all parties before making them. It’s part of the charm that many here take FFA seriously, but it’s supposed to be fun still.

I personally don’t need praise for the admin work, but obviously motivation shrinks if I face a certain type of chat on a daily basis. Also, at least as long as I’m admin here, racism and fascism stay the fuck out of this community!

Ponty may run another short event or league in January (Vote here!) until we know how Reforged is going to look like on January 28. After that, we will see what’s going to come next. One FML season before summer I guess.

If you want to provide TBR feedback, you can do it in this thread or private a private message to admins. We will store it and take it into consideration for Team Battle Royale 5.

GL HF!

10th episode of Eshan, Cumulo and Trump, Trump has always been jealous of people smarter than him (i.e. Eshan) so I guess he will suicide Eshan once again and Cumulo the lord of human will take a win beating his new american friend. I still am not sure what's the relation between the US and Peru nowadays, but if America wants to keep their power, they must ally against Peru.
The winner will be CUMULO 70% or Eshan 30% chance.

:Germany: :ra: Shave
:Germany: :orc: ena1337
:Sweden: :orc: fetta_ook
:Portugal: :ra: F10EX

F10EX the most irascible player wc3 has ever had after Goodbeast (may he rest in peace playing chess), I remember that guy accusing Lightweight and Pinballmap of preteaming on deadlock, since they are two germans in the game, which are the best friends in wc3 scene, I guess some preteam accusations will happen once again.
Ena, the Lord of Fame and CHAOS in wc3 with his impressive micro, somehow this guy always manages to run with 50 hp heroes and save them all the time during every fight which is impressive.
Shave, the lord of CREEPS and TOME who is also an orc and abuses hero focus in everygame. Why does he hero focus ? Because he was terorized by Maga and once realised that you can click on heroes and this game is suddenly easier.
Fetta, the GOD of ORCS will battle with 2 Semi GODs of orc race. Fetta is a highly intelligent and rat player so you always have to be careful about him, he can win anytime
This game will be an epic battle between Fetta and F10Ex, I except some sort of elessar ineversmile sort of battle, and another battle between Ena and Shave with lots of flaming.
Ena 50% shave 20% F10Ex 1% and fetta 29% chances to win

WeakUd is an experienced and good player overall with a head the size of a hot air balloon, junkerzam is really strong with all races and always able to win a game, with very good overall micro and macro. Jaod is a dedicated player who loves the undead race and is very friendly, if he wants to win this game, he has to act like a killer, I've never seen lelulami play but if he plays the opposite of Arni he could win.
Either Junker or Tox will win that game I think.
I predict Tox as winner, i.e. WEAKUD.

Very good game with 4 strong players, Vyvanne is superstrong as ud vs hum when he plays that necrowagon thingy, Dovekie is another player with the head of a hot air balloon which knows better than everyone else. Nevertheless, he is a really good random player (like WEakud) and has impressive tactic as elf with tinker panda kotg to destroy humans. HTRT is the god of humans, after Lightweight ofc. This guy wrote the most impressive ffa guide and taught to almost all humans how to play human with different playstyle and fun tactics. If you want to learn human, just watch him play. Steppinrazor is orc or ud I guess, he once tomed Yane and me on market square and won with 20k gold advantage.
Looking forward to that game because 4 experienced player in it, I hope this game will be played on silverpine. I'll go with HTRT as a winner.

Arnikratti, how long will he hold in this game? will he be able to go past the 20 min mark ? Knowing that guy, he always loves to do the dog with some players, he will try to lick gradient in this game in order to make gradient win. This guy leaves to piss people off in the community (who ? Gradient or Arni ? I'll let you answer).
Qwest the master of hoarders, and a very good undead player, he will have to defend sever assaults from arnikratti feeding him hero levels until aarni ragequits handing the freewin to gradient who will tome the 4th player.
Gradient, one of the most famous elf on grubby stream, he destroyed grubby several times in ffa while trolling him. Gradient will win this game if he dosent get rushed early, which he won't cause gradi will make sure to rush qwest. I have no idea who the last player is but I think Gradient will have a freewin thanks to his buddy arnikratti.

:Argentina: :ne: supremo
:Russia: :ra: Neytpoh
:USA: :orc: ashalar
:USA: :ra: Seksi

Supremo, no comment, he will always play the same, 1 unit of each, and ROC heroes, I dont think this guy understood that you can pick new heroes in TFT, he only understood that you can build new units to feed your enemy better. He will play until his last building and die as always keeping his 3% winrate in fml, he once beat Lightweight and me on silverpine forest and I never saw him win since.
Neytpoh is a new ffa player coming from solo with very good micro and very fast understanding of ffa. He has impressive micro with all races and has high chances to win here.
Ashalar, the only time I played him he played raiders in zeplin and weird orc armies which dont work well imo. Maybe he changed since, but his playstyle is interesting to watch as I recall.
Seksi, another guy who wrote an impressive ffa guide and has one of the best knowledge of ffa ever, he was the rival of Lightweight and Persuade. He can teach anyone how to play ffa and always has good advice with an agressive playstyle.
The first guy who tomes supremo will win this game so it depends on position. Either Neytpoh or Sexy wins but ill go with Seksi.

Syde a very good solo undead player from france, since it's a no chat game, LilTic will have a lot of difficulties fighting syde because of the broken new dreadlord, human can't do anything vs that guy. If godfather plays undead, he might have a chance, but orc sucks too much vs hu or ud so he shouldn't pick that garbage race.
I think Syde will win here because liltic will never have the hero levels to fight undead, unless heavy teaming.

B100death is the most innovative orcs for creeproutes, sometimes he dosen't try hard enough because he has too much honor, I think he should do rate moves sometimes and he will win many more games. I don't really know Toxi, I think he plays elf and if an elf goes mass chims hippo with 3 heroes they can always win a game.
Lol why did life went orc ? I remember this guy as a really good elf from germany playing dr panda keeper. If he plays that combo he can be very scarry.
Airenikus is another good player and a greedy hoarder, if he dosen't get catch hoarding he can do something.

I'll try my luck and go with only luck as a winner here.

WalkingDead vs Sauron vs ChuckNorris vs POKEMON, this is gonna be a great battle.
Shaymin can win here because he is legendary. BUT ChuckNorris.

Fire against Avogadro against a french version of hilarious. This battle between two coronavirus pro players and a Croatian will be interesting. The french will try to steal the Spanish girl from the Spaniard and the Spaniard willl say jajajajajajjajajajajaj while he croatian will let them die of coronavirus infection.

I hope for toxic game and much flame. Of course highest skill here is the super lama , but we must not understimate the two rats in this game. One is the RAT KING in face of Eshan and the other is his follower Donald-Trump aka IWANTWC3 aka karfal aka backstab as soon as possible. If they team cumulo i expect really hard game , but in the end super lama tanks will solve the game.

I will go with my close friend Shave despite the fact he is really bad at this game.
Probably ena will win , but i will support Philip no matter what.
Fetta can always change the game whenever he wants with random suicide so we never know.Never heard of the other guy , sry .

The champ won't have any problems here since there are 2 tomes in this game and one guy who goes afk from time to time. No suprise at this game and easy win for the swede.

FULL WESTERN GAME BABY. Im looking for this game and I think it's the most excited game in round 1. High skilled FFA players with good sense of play. I will go will Vyv since he has the asian blood in him. I hope a lot of flame from htrt like he did in Netease ladder and was banned because of that <3

:Poland: :ne: Gradient
:Austria: :hu: rulaZ

No doubt Corona virus can't stop aaarni from anything and he will have the easiest game of his life. Like we know qwest is big Tome of experience and Gradient is high skilled solo player. Rulaz can be the hard opo here , but the finnish huskey will prevail. I hope he gets elf and uses mass dispell manually with dryads like he do all the time.

:Argentina: :ne: supremo
:Russia: :ra: Neytpoh
:USA: :orc: ashalar
:USA: :ra: Seksi

Seksi is no doubt the best FFA player in this game. I may have flamed him before , but just because he is better than me. Like we know neutron is pro-solo player despite the fact he couldn't make it to top 8 in Anaheim (haha noob) so maybe he forgot how to play FFA. He carried alone in TBR so maybe he has chances against Seksi. Supremo and the other guy are just big tomes.

Me and LilTic will suicide Syde for sure. We are chatting for preteam already so be prepared. Syde stole all my ideas for DL in solo games and now this strat is famous for Syde's strat not Godfather's strat. I played necros 1st and now they call him the necro king. Time to revenge this copycat guy and just team him to death and hoping for him to surrender like normal french guy.

We have 2 pro poker players here. One wanna be pro solo-elf guy and Life.
I will go will my fellow Airenikus , but in no chat anything can happen so hard to predict. The auto-attack elf will play like rambo and probably make everyone rage , but lets not count the good decisions from b100 as well. Still will be fun game.

The Swiss king is back ladies and gentleman. Dowaq is good at solo but i doubt he has any idea of FFA. We all know what trunkz do so there won't be no suprises at all. I hope dinamo shows and just random base kill someone. GOGO NOEX!

HVALA BRATE! Voxius has been playing a lot lately and i think he improved a lot in the past months. Only_luck has some experience in FFA but only in these rigged russian leagues. Unfortunately im not familiar with FML|Mage but his nickname looks promising so maybe he is good. I will go with my serb brother.

Ember ako to pročitaš, to znači da si jebena seksi zvijer.Ember no doubt is the best player here. He streamed so many games so I think he just has the skill from that.
I promised him I will teach him in FFA , but the only think i can teach him is how to flame and suicide. Anyway I wish him luck in his 1st game here.
