Season 20 kicked off to a great start so far, featuring many exciting games! We had underdogs sneak wins out, underdogs have dominating performances, and a solid showing from some of our old favorites. Because we're in the qualifiers currently we're happy to accept two additional players in addition to our subs who played in round 1. Welcome back to the fold WorpeX & MakingAComeBack . I'm sure they'll help keep the interesting season alive, and if one of them can pull off back to back wins they'll squeak into the main round!

Well, application periods are officially closed and we had some great turnout! I will post the matchups below, with scheduling threads to follow shortly, but before I do I would like to remind all of our players that FML is dedicated to providing fair competition, and that all players must follow the rules. The full rule book can be found on the site, however a few points of emphasis. First, all players are expected to play the game honestly. This means no hacking, stream cheating, preteaming, or other attempts at gaming the system and WC3 in general. Violators will be dealt with swiftly.
Second, we expect our players to schedule for themselves, and to show up to their matches. If you need help, we are happy to provide it, however the initiative is on you. Failure to do so may result in removal from the league. Lastly, have fun! This league is meant to be an enjoyable hobby for the players and admins, don't take it so seriously and don't be a dick. Full season rules will be posted soon, but without further ado here are our randomly generated matches.

Alright everyone, my life is a bit more in order now and I plan to do some shoutcasting tonight around 16EST/22CET. I'll be joined by a shoutcaster that most of your recognize and adore, though I won't give it away just yet. Worst case we'll be doing some shoutcasts from the past, however it's always a bit more fun to do live shoutcasts. So, if you're not doing anything then and want to play a fun action packed game then show up around then and let me know you're free in the comments!

Next we’d like to announce that the applications for Season 20 of the FFA Masters League will open in a week, on November 1st! We’re also going to offer a sneak peek into the format for Season 20 since players have been great about providing feedback on Season 19.
Season Length: After an extended season for Season 19, Season 20 will be cut back a little bit. It will include two rounds of qualifiers, 4 rounds of regular season, and then a single semi-final and the finals.
Map Voting: We received a lot of positive feedback on the way we did maps last season, so we’ve decided to keep that method but improve it a bit. Instead of having two visible options and a hidden option we will have one visible option and one hidden option. We found that 3 options with 4 players voting was a bit too much last season, and we’d like to cut that back a bit.
Map Pool: We will be offering a good mix of traditional maps in combination with new maps that we believe have a lot of potential. This season though, we hope to involve the players more in the selection of new maps. Stay tuned for upcoming information on how we’re going to do that!
Hopefully this is enough information to tide people over until next weekend when the Applications open, but make sure to continue checking the site for more exciting announcements involving upcoming events, further showmatches, and more league information!
Our Season 19 winner has returned to kick of Season 20 with us! As the reigning champion Flash will have the chance to pull off back to back impressive wins. While the stakes aren’t as high for this match, the competition is just as fierce.
The former Undead player has always been one of the best micro players in the game, but since taking up Orc he’s been one of the most consistent FFA players in FML. Combining great micro with ever increasing macro and a growing FFA sense Flash looks to be one of the top players going forward. If any of our other players hope to win Season 20, this match could be a preview for them of what they’ll have to face in the playoffs.
Renaud
FML Season 12 winner, KoFFA I & II winner, and Season 19’s highest scorer (by 35 points). This is just the tip of the iceberg for Renaud’s resume, and everyone who plays FFA is familiar with him. Perpetually one of the top players in the scene, Renaud is feared for his ability to rebuild and stay in the game. A player who isn’t dead until the defeat screen comes up, Renaud relies on his ability to improvise, keep calm, and adapt to whatever situation comes up. The road to the Season 20 championship may very well run through him.
Magadansky
The immensely popular vampire is back! Well at least for a match or two. Undoubtedly one of the most successful FFA players of all time, Maga owns 3 FML championships. On a hiatus from competitive FFA for the moment, Maga has agreed to come back and play at least one game. Maybe if we ask nicely he’ll even come out of hiding more often! With two Night Elves in the match, will Maga be too rusty to deal with Pandas, or will we remember just why the Elves feared him?
Nooblex
There’s an often used saying that applies perfectly here: “We’ve saved the best for last.” While I wouldn’t go so far as to say that Blex is the best of this bunch, he’s certainly one of the best FFA players of all time. Reinventing himself on the PlayFFA ladder Blex has been quietly practicing up and winning games. Known for an incredible macro style of play, he’s often thought of as the mentor to Renaud’s style of play.
He hasn’t been seen in the FML scene for a while due to a lack of time, but hopefully this match will bring him back into the fold. His guide to FFA is the most comprehensive guide anywhere out there, and helped to usher in an entire new generation of FFA players. Hopefully his re-emergence into the scene will usher in an older generation of FFA players as well.
Well, we've heard the questions about when would Season 20 get started and the answer is very soon! This coming weekend we will be hosting a show match to kick things off, and after that we'll host some custom games for those that are interested.
We will also be announcing the time-frame for Season 20 on Saturday, and asking for your feedback on Season 19 as well! We couldn't run this league without those of you who want to play in it, and it's very important to us that your experience be as enjoyable as possible.

Okay, not sure if this is the site or my browser. However I'm unable to have the site keep me permanently logged on (saves password but I have to click login), and I can't scroll down in the chatbox. When I use the popout form it works fine, but on the site I'll scroll or click down and it takes a minute-two minutes to respond and go down.
I use Chrome on Windows 7 64 bit.
This also happens for me on Chrome on Windwos 7 64 bit laptop.
Anyone else had any issues like this, and if so what browser do you use? Worpex I suspect you might be able to help me best but figured more date is probably a good thing.
Okay, I've locked the Game Night thread since I want to be able to have an easily archived playlist essentially. However I do want to hear everyone's thoughts on who they want to hear from. So if you have a player you think would make for a great Game Night, then recommend away!

As a lot of you probably know, I've recently started up a new series which I will be calling Game Night. The premise behind this series is that in each episode I will talk to a current or former FFA player and get to know more about them. This will include their previous experience in FFA, WC3 at large, and any interesting tidbits I can find out. Think of it as a more in depth interview that you don't have to read. As a bonus it will feature hilariously bad two's play for you to look at while listening!
Game Night will be released every Thursday.
