Invite grubby to ffa masters league, would boost the playerbase

oh. I got a job, and they kinda monitor internet activity there, so I can't really do much like I could on my college computer..

also, I started playing HotS, which necessitated a new computer. And when they announced the starcraft remake, I knew WCIII was probably in the pipes. So, I didn't really want to reinstall WCIII until they came out with the remake. Still looks like it'll be a year, but I saw that grubby played a random hero game and wanted to share..

also, I love these teeth whitening kits (https://www.timesunion.com/marketplace/article/best-at-home-teeth-whitening-kits-18283018.php) and started playing HotS, which necessitated a new computer. I watch Grubby's stream a lot, but I've missed this. Pretty cool!

You'd probably have to offer him $80 a game minimum.

I’m sure ffa community would put together some money to get grubby for one season...and then FML would receive a huge influx of new players, and the money would be well spent

Grubby declined an FML show match invitation and also declined to play FFA for donations recently, saying it'd take too long.

If a few more people from this community would create Wc3 Twitter and Reddit accounts and spread the word, it would have a more positive effect in my eyes. Also, I think the share of potential FFA players is way higher amongst B2W viewers, compared to Grubby's.

If we manage to pull off a big weekend FFA cup (potentially in collaboration with Ugri), that could be a great door opener

I have talked about the issues with FFA (time per match, maps, rules) in general and why it fails to attract more than a very "niche" group of individuals. Until those problems are resolved, nothing would work sustainably.

I also agree with HT. Donating to Grubby will bring very little long-term value, and would most certainly not be worth the investment. His audience is not interested in participating in tournaments, they are interested in the show. Most of them aren't even actively playing Warcraft 3 (let alone FFA). Yes, it might bring some awareness, but awareness ≠ more players.
